My husband thought his soup was perfectly spicy. A note about parking - if you can park in the lot in front of the building, you scan a QR code, and open a parking time block. (I believe Menya paid for a 2-hour block.) You then enter the information on an iPad at the back of the restaurant to validate your parking and start the clock. For hot appetizers, everyone raves about the Popcorn Chicken and I concur that it's very good! I really like the Frled Pork Gyoza too. For the main course, they have some rice dishes, but the main focus is the hot pot soups. They bring out a 300°F Stone bowl of broth (in an insulated pot holder) and the ingredients to put in it. You put the meat and lettuce in first, then the other ingredients and the noodles last then wait for "10 seconds"thus the name of the restaurant. I have tried all of the broths and they are all good depending on your tastes. The original broth is the bass broth. Then they add things to the other others to differentiate them. My favorites are the Tomato Soup (especially with Beef Flank) and Spicy Soup. If you like things VERY spicy, they can bring you some cut Thai peppers.
