Absolutely loved this place. The food was delicious, service on point, and the place was very clean. As a vegetarian it is a challenge to find delicious food, but Bibim's summer menu hit it out of the park. I hope they keep the summer menu forever!

Super authentic Korean food. Nice staff. Dolsot bibimbap didn't crust from the hot pot but plenty of vegetables and rice. Soup was spicy and flavorful (came with rice). The seafood pancakes were different shaped than usual but filled with seafood, very tasty. Parking available on site.

My third time here...and this time I brought my husband. We both ordered Dolsot Bibimbap...1 Bulgogi, and 1 Spicy Chicken. We also ordered Fried Mandoo and Ice Cream Sandwich w/ JeonByeong to share. Well, both my husband and I loved the Dolsot Bibimbap...and we both agreed that this place has the best Bibimbap in Charlotte. We also enjoyed the Fried Mandoo and the dessert as well. As always, this place hits everything you can ask for in a restaurant...from nice ambiance (though they could use some wall decor-accents) and good overhead music, to fresh, delicious foods (all beautifully presented) and fast, attentive service. Definitely deserves 5 stars...again!

From the moment the food was served, I could tell how much care and thought went into every single detail even the plates and presentation felt refined and intentional. I ordered the radish soup (Mu-guk), and the way the radish was finely and beautifully cut showed such precision and sincerity. You can immediately feel that this is not an ordinary Korean restaurant. The level of care, quality, and execution honestly rivals Michelin-level dining. As someone who lives in California and has tried countless Korean restaurants across different states, I can confidently say this is the first time outside of California that I've experienced Korean food prepared with this level of excellence, authenticity, and attention to detail. As a Korean myself, I felt truly proud eating here. This is a place that deserves to be known, visited, and highly recommended. If you appreciate truly high-quality Korean food, this place is an absolute must. Highly, highly recommended.

Super delicious food! I got tteok fries and sweet & spicy fried chicken for delivery a little while back, and it was delicious!! The rice cakes were perfectly chewy and had a nice crispy texture on the outside, and the dipping sauces were great. The fried chicken was flavorful and not too spicy. Hope to get their food again soon!

Cooked to perfection, flavors exceeded expectations! My wife and I ordered the Chicken Gangjeong, Bulgolgi Beef Ramen, Bulgolgi Beef Dolsot Bibimbap. Everything came out fast and Hot. We were so happy leaving not feeling stuffed after having a great portion of food. Highly recommended

I had an amazing food experience here! I absolutely love Korean food and when my friend mentioned this place to go, I did not hesitate to say yes! I wanted to try everything on the menu! But I tried to practice self control and I went ahead and ordered a lot of appetizers so I could try those! Everything and I mean everything was delicious! The meat for the gimbap was bulgogi beef and it was so tasty. I got my dumplings steamed and they were filled with pork and they were cooked to perfection! I also got kimchi and white rice. Finally, the gimmari was amazing! They are crispy seaweed noodle rolls and I just kept eating them and the sauce they came with was delicious as well! I am definitely coming back to try more items on the menu!

Best place we've found in Charlotte area for Dolsot Bibimbap. This is quite a drive from where we live, but we enjoy Korean food and saw the good Yelp reviews and wanted to try it. Beer menu is typical for Asian places - standard Japanese beers (don't expect local IPA's here). We started with the Kimchi Jeon ($14) and the three of us really enjoyed it. My bride and I both ordered the same thing, the Dolsot Bibimbap ($18) with chicken....but I ordered the spicy version. My MIL ordered the Deopbap and added an egg ($20). All of us enjoyed our food and dining experience. Solid spot for Bibimbap.....we will be back!

The staff are friendly and helpful. They greeted us with smiles and a warm welcome. I find the interiors to be beautiful and simple with mixed elements of wood and metal. I ordered the classic Beef Bibimbap which I loved so much paired with the refreshing grape drink. The plating looked so perfect that you might think it was going to be used for a product shoot. The vegies blended all so well. Not overpowering one another but was a melody of flavors while still being individually tasty. The rice was soft and cooked to the right texture. The beef was tender and seasoned well. The egg was nothing short but perfection with runny yolk topped with a hint of sesame seeds. All mixed together that delivered a wonderful symphony of flavors in every bite while every instrument was still distinctive. Drizzled with their homemade ssamjang. Delicious! My wife had the Sundubu which was actually way better than what we were expecting. So flavorful and rich that was balanced by the soft silky tofu. I'm looking forward to seeing this business thrive and expand!

I had the pleasure of coming by BimBim last night for dinner. The restaurant is small, but gives it a cozy, family, warm feeling. Even though the restaurant was busy, I was seated right away. The staff were very friendly, attentive, and helpful. For starters I ordered the gimbap and the fried mandoo. Both were fresh and delicious. If you're going to get the mandoo, fried is the way to do it! They were pan fried perfection! For my main I order the BimBimBap with bulgogi beef with soy sauce. The dish is beautifully prepared and is almost too pretty to eat. The ingredients were fresh and the soy sauce was the perfect compliment to the dish. I cannot wait for my next visit. If you are looking for a hearty, fresh, and delicious meal, this is the place! They are closed on Sunday.

Neither of my friends had ever had it, so I knew we needed an AYCE so they could try a little bit of everything. We found 704 on Yelp and headed there! It's in a big shopping center, towards the back, with tons of parking. When we walked in we were immediately greeted and seated. I told our waitress, Kim, that we had two newbies, and the rest of the meal, she was as excited as I was for them to try things! We ordered a huge variety of items, including the soups, the cheesy corn, bulgolgi, pork belly, chicken, squid... everything that looked interesting :) It was so very very tasty! Since my friends were newbies, I cooked all our meats which they loved watching happen. The team working that evening were so quick that they replaced our grill several times throughout the meal without any impact to our enjoyment. We had so much fun that my friends are super excited to come back the next time we're in town! Another super fun thing that I didn't notice until we were leaving- the walls are decorated with really interesting artwork made of crushed cans! The front walls behind the hostess stand are entirely made of crushed bottles, and we were told that the restaurant team made it all happen! It's really unique to see.

This was my first time having bulgogi since I just started eating beef again a could months ago. It was delicious and well seasoned and paired perfectly with the glass noodles. The soy vinegar pickles were also yummy. I would definitely come back again! The staff are also nice and they have great reviews for a reason. The only slight issue I'll note is that it is smaller than I thought on the inside. They have about 6 four person tables in the entire place so the 6 of us took up almost half the restaurant. It was a lot of fun but there are definitely some things that would have made this experience a little smoother for us. Overall, the price is very reasonable when split between the group. One very easy and good improvement would be to move the TV screen to the back of the room. It's positioned in the same area as the "stage" so everyone had to turn their backs to read the lyrics which just felt silly. For a room fit for 25, more mics are needed! I think it's 2 per room regardless of the size. The most frustrating part of our experience is that our YouTube queue was somehow shared with another room's. We would add songs, they would delete them. Random songs would show up in our queue, we would delete them. We didn't realize it until about 20 minutes in. When we told an employee about this, they weren't aware and didn't know what to do about it, but that's definitely something that needs to be sorted out for a better experience. Space-wise it's definitely pretty cramped although you could say that it made things more intimate. Food was good though! I've also had a lot of karaoke experiences where tambourines are included for added fun. Definitely wasn't expecting this, but that could be a fun addition! Overall I've had better karaoke room experiences but I would still go back again and recommend to anyone who's never done this before!

There are ample dining tables inside, but the parking lot is rather tight as it is shared with Seoul Food Meat Company. However, the restaurant does validate parking if you pay for parking so just let them know. The ambiance was not too loud, but it definitely gets busier at lunch or dinner times. I would say that the service was alright. It was nothing special. I found the servers who attended my table to be upbeat and friendly, but I kind of wanted them to come around a bit more and check in on us when we were running low on water or sides. My family mostly ordered the Premium Original Pork Belly and Fatty Beef Brisket along with some vegetables. The pork belly comes out in two strips, which makes it quick to go through. I personally enjoyed the pork belly. It tasted great with the sauces! I did not like the Fatty Beef Brisket that much because it was too fatty (I know the name includes "fatty" but it seemed like the fat to meat ratio on each brisket piece was 2:1 at times). My parents thought that the Premium Steak was tender, but it was a bit too salty for them. Since they are older, they are more careful about sodium intake but I understand that a lot of people prefer more salty foods. But I will say that I found the kimchi and corn cheese a bit salty so maybe it is more than just a taste palate issue. My mom wanted to eat hot pot, but my dad and I were too full to eat more and we were worried about the additional charge if she did not finish some of the food. Also, you cook the food yourself here! This might not seem interesting but at a lot of KBBQ places in Atlanta, the servers always cook for you (which can either be a pro or con depending you). There are not a lot of AYCE KBBQ spots in North Carolina compared to Georgia... where I have been the past few years... so I think my actual rating of this place would be 3.5/5 stars. If you can make the drive to Atlanta, I would go there because there are better options.

The food quality here was not like how it was years ago. The biggest issue was the food quality and value. The galbi was $30 per plate and had barely any meat, mostly bones and mixed in with a lot of cabbage. The pieces of meat were extremely small, about the size of a penny, which made it feel completely overpriced. The photo on the menu showed much meatier portions, so what we received felt misleading. We have had galbi at other places with much better portions for less. The japchae was also difficult to eat. The noodles were excessively long, around 2 feet, making it hard to grab and portion onto plates. Typically, japchae noodles are cut to a manageable length. The banchan portions were very small, only enough for about two people. When we asked for more, we were told it would be an additional charge, which was disappointing. Service also impacted our experience. The waitress hovered over our table and repeatedly asked to take plates away while we were STILL eating, which made the meal feel rushed and uncomfortable. We were a party of 4 adults and 2 young kids, ages 4 and 2, and the kids barely ate anything, yet we were still automatically charged a 20% gratuity. That did not feel appropriate given the situation. I am all for supporting small businesses, but when you are charging premium prices for very small portions and the quality does not match, that is where you lose my business. Overall, the portions, pricing, and service did not match expectations. Our $183 bill would've been better off at an AYCE Korean bbq.
