    Bacon Egg & Cheese Burrito

I ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese burrito, an almond milk latte with vanilla syrup, and a blueberry bagel. Unfortunately, the experience was very underwhelming. The burrito's exterior was overcooked and difficult to bite into, while the inside was overly soft. The egg was mushy and the overall flavor was bland. The latte tasted more like warm almond milk than coffee -- the coffee flavor I was expecting was almost completely missing. The blueberry bagel was extremely hard, almost inedible. I came in expecting a much better experience, but sadly this visit fell short across the board. I don't think I'll be returning.

Cute space with decent coffee and polite staff. The seating area is a little tight and it's difficult to have a conversation here that wouldn't be overheard by everyone present, upstairs and downstairs. I believe they boast this as a co-working space and I could only see those who work in complete silence and with headphones on taking advantage of this. The coffee is overpriced and underwhelming, in my opinion. $1.35 is way too much of an upcharge for alternative milk. This made my 16 oz coffee almost $9. Sometimes, a high quality beverage at a speciality coffee shop might be worth this price, but this wasn't. I ordered the Sugar Mama, with white chocolate and Irish cream and it tasted like overly sweetened coffee--something I might get from a fast food place. The Irish cream flavor was very subtle. Unfortunately, I can't say that I am interested in returning either for the ambience or the coffee.

Such a cute coffee shop with nice employees. Got a peppermint mocha cold brew but their fall selection looked great, can't wait to see the winter seasonal drinks! Definitely recommend

A bit pricey for coffee but mine was pretty good. I got the Nutty Truffle with oat milk and asked for it half sweetened since it seemed like there was a lot of syrups added in. It came out perfect and I was very happy with it! I just don't really agree with the $1.35 alternative milk charge... No issues with service, the girls working there were great. It was two floors so could be a good study or work spot.

    Matcha

There matcha is nothing like the picture that they have up. It is very grainy. It was always very messy in the back with cleaning products all over the ground. Would not come again

Freezing cold still frozen packaged "breakfast sandwich" they were sold out of all the wraps, sold out of bacon, sold out of most things.

Only two people working, one on register one on espresso machine. Donation bags, boxes and clutter line the path to ordering, dust on counters, disorganized look to the place. Fruit flies and gnats flying around their open air pastries. I ordered a plain croissant two turkey sausage breakfast sandwiches and a hot vanilla latte. $30! Latte came out promptly but without vanilla. I waited over 10 minutes for the breakfast sandwiches, the woman who was tendering the cash register without washing her hands then came over to the food station and started packaging up items. Food was all over the counter, it had been sitting, there was no way to tell what had been heated up versus what had just sat out cold and frozen from the packaging it came in. When we both bit into our breakfast sandwiches we noticed they were cold, still frozen and tasted like gas station vending machine food from a highway rest stop. Although Charlotte has a deficit of coffee shops Id rather give Starbucks my money than ever visit coffee republic again. Funny how from their Maps or IG it seems trendy + good location in Ballantyne but my Lord what horrible execution. You need some serious operational assistance.

We ordered a mocha and a latte with oat milk. I had mine with vanilla and caramel, and even added extra simple syrup. Unfortunately, the drinks just didn't stand out. I found myself sipping more for the caffeine than the flavor, and by the end, I couldn't really remember the taste. I was hoping to recreate that rich, memorable coffee experience I've had in Asheville, but this didn't quite hit the same. That said, I do appreciate the atmosphere and the friendly service, so I'd be open to giving it another try in the future.

I've been to several of their locations around the Charlotte area and they all share the same strengths: consistently great coffee, friendly baristas, and a calm, grounded atmosphere that makes even a quick stop feel like a small reset in the day. This particular shop isn't large, and the laptop crowd has definitely discovered it. There are only a handful of tables, so I felt genuinely lucky to land the last open one and settle in with my cortado. The drink was exactly what I expect from Summit every time, rich and balanced and served with the kind of quiet confidence that comes from a place that knows what it's doing. I opened the laptop, got a bit of work done, and enjoyed the rhythm of the room as people drifted in and out. And when the cortado was gone, so was I. It's the kind of space where I felt a gentle responsibility to make room for the next person once I've had your moment, especially on a busy morning. Even with its small footprint, it remains one of the most dependable coffee experiences in the area, and I always leave feeling like the stop was worth it. If you've tried their other locations, this one will feel familiar in the best way. If you haven't, it's a great introduction to what Summit does so well. I love that they weren't extremely sweet, nor were they too greasy. They were the perfect donut. You really have to try them to understand. I tried the Butter Scotch and the Traditional Glaze. The staff at the establishment were friendly, and since it was my first time, they were able to recommend what to try which led me to the choices I picked. Or, if you have some work to do, grab a donut, and enjoy your treat while being productive. There are other flavors I'd like to try, and I look forward to coming back again soon!

We get to the car and try to sneak one with a quick pop in our mouths and OMG. Stale stale stale. They were so bad - all of us stopped mid-chew and scrambled for napkins because we couldn't even force them down. It made us very scared for the remaining items, but they were fine - just proceed with caution. Not all glazed sparkling things are delicious. We may try again, but it will take some time before I can convince my family to give it a go. Nothing worse than a stale donut that looks beautiful.
