Solid coffee spot with unique tasty drinks, nice service, and a cute space! In town for a wedding and was looking for cute coffee shop to try and stumbled on this one on Yelp! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's adorable and homie feeling inside! It's inside a building and it's like a hippie vibe but cute![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I got the strawberry shortcake matcha and it's delicious! It's just the right amount of sweetness!
Stopped by the other day with my puppy, mom, and sister. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Loved that it was pet friendly and that they had seating inside and outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My mom and I each ordered a carrot cake latte and they were delish! They were topped off with cream cheese cold foam and a little bunny graham cracker too. So cute! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside is so girl coded and has the most friendly baristas!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]
My updated review for the second time stopping in! 10 out of 10 out of 10!!! I absolutely love this place especially this location! It's easy to park (they even validate your parking for 90 mins or so!), they have seasonal drinks that are actually good and the food is great for a coffee shop! I got the That's Amore and avocado toast this visit. The last time I got the breakfast sandwich! The avocado toast is topped with olive oil, which makes it so delicious! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's beautifully decorated[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], [[HIGHLIGHT]]the seating is comfortable[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and the staff is very helpful especially when it comes to recommendations! [[HIGHLIGHT]]If you can't find seating there is more seating toward the bathrooms and it's nice because they are booths![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It's my understanding they make some of their syrups which I love because you know they are fresh, and to me that means they take pride in the quality of their drinks. It's worth a stop if you are in the area!
Discovered this coffee shop through TikTok! My friend and I tried their festive beverages together this morning -- Candy Cane Forest and Cookies for Santa. I was pleasantly surprised by both beverages and can't wait to try Mama's Gingerbread before the holiday menu changes. If you're thinking of checking this place out, the E. Morehead Street location validates parking, which is convenient! There is a black machine to scan your parking ticket located near the cash register. Also, the employees were very kind and did a fantastic job with the festive decor. For the social media page, I'd recommend adding a story highlight or pinning a post with the current seasonal menu! It was a little tricky to find their festive beverages and I think incorporating this could make it easier for customers. That's the only thing I can think of to make this review 5-stars. Cheers to trying new coffee shops!
First time here and it's kinda a hidden gem. Park in the parking deck as you do get your parking validated. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's kinda a small space with not that many seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have a limited menu. I can't remember if they serve food or snack. Service is self serve. First time here and I got the crème brûlée matcha and it was actually delicious. I like my matcha on the sweeter side so it was good. I would say their prices are a little too high. I believe this was 10$. I would come again to try something different.

This latte was SO GOOD. This was my first time at WR and everyone was so sweet! Their new menu had just dropped and this drink was one of the yummy things to be listed. My friend also got the fruity pebbles matcha and loved it. If I had the chance, I'd definitely go back to try the Cinnamon Toast Crunch iced latte and Cookie Crisp. 10/10
This is one of the recommended coffee shops when I was doing research for coffee shops on TikTok. The first day that we got here, we ordered the Key Lime Pie latte and the Chocolate Chip Cookie latte. I love that they're not too sweet and the flavors are very distinct. The following day, since we were heading towards Raleigh, we drop by this coffee shop to order the Banana Pudding latte. I tasted the pudding first before mixing it with the drink and it was so delicious! It's not too sweet so I didn't feel like I was just ingesting dessert for breakfast. When mixed with the coffee, it didn't make the coffee too sweet but just added that perfect banana pudding flavor. The staff were super nice and friendly. They told about us about how they make the banana pudding themselves, which made me excited to try it! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space has a very retro feel - like the 60s or 70s! If I remember correctly, it's inside an office building so there were several employees getting coffee there.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I don't think I'd be back in Charlotte anytime soon, but if I do, I'd love to go back here!
Talk about groovy ! This coffee shop is a true hidden gem ! It's a 70's themed coffee shop myself & a friend stopped into yesterday and it's super cute inside and so on theme ! Inside you will see nostalgic items like a record player and they have the cutest private booths towards the back with beads draping from them from just like back in the day . I remember my grandparents having those in their doorway lol . Get there early enough to swag one of the coolest seats in the house ! The specialty drinks are so fun I ordered the lucky charms lavender latte and it was actually good I wasn't expecting much but it was pretty darn tasty ! This will be my honey comb hideout when I want to get away it's nice n quiet inside which I also love . Add this one to the top of you list

Third time was a charm for us. We were striking out with coffee shops. We had great service and mediocre coffee then terrible coffee and ok service. And finally, we found Wildroots. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The location is on the lower floor of an office building. It has an adorable retro/vintage 70s Flower Child vibe. The ambiance was relaxing and inviting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Now on to the matters of caffeine. The espresso was perfect. Something we had not had since our arrival. Cortado was great, drip coffee was great, and their latte.... Let me tell you about their latte. I had a carrot cake with cream cheese cold foam. I asked for half the syrup. It was delicious, perfection, amazing. One day I had it hot, the next I had it iced, both were incredible. If I were guaranteed not to go into a sugar spiral, I would drink the cold foam straight. Now I'm preparing to go back tomorrow. Update: We came back two more times before we left NC. No regrets! We finally found an amazing coffee shop and that was important. Also, they make a fantastic Cloud Matcha AND they often watermelon seed milk aka MILKish. This is a game changer. The milk was tasty, with the tiniest but of sweetness, but no sugar or carbs. Love this place! They have such unique latte flavors and they rotate quite frequently. They were super busy when I went in, but they are quick and efficient. This is hands down my favorite coffee shop in Charlotte--truly a hidden gem. The lattes here are always changing with fun, unique flavors. My favorite so far has been the blueberry pancake matcha latte. The café itself is aesthetic and cute, making it a great spot to relax or catch up with friends. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall great vibe. Highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area! read more

SOOOO adorable!!!!! A must visit. I am already counting down the days until I can come back!!! Absolutely adorable decor and aesthetic I am obsessed! They did a phenomenal job decorating this place. The seasonal menu was so cool with a bunch of great flavor options. My group got the Gingerbread Latte with oat milk and the Peppermint Mocha and both were delicious. We also got the iced latte with their maple syrup and it was incredible. Their ingredients taste so pure and authentic, not the synthetic and overly commercial stuff that other coffee shops use. The employees were so kind and warm to make your morning start off great! They made our orders so fast. A bit pricey but worth it for how cute it is inside. A bit limited seating too, I'd like to see them add more seating to help more people sit and hang out and enjoy the space. No food options when I came. read more

This place is adorable, bright and fun! I've been wanting to come here for a while so a meeting popped up and I suggested this spot. It's inside a building near uptown with an attached garage. Luckily they do validate parking for an hour or two, I can't recall the exact details. But the fact that they do validate was amazing. It's really so cute inside, you could work here all day and just enjoy the scenery. They have real plants and little cubbies you can relax in. The young lady behind the counter was super nice and helpful. I ordered a latte and since it was Halloween they had these themed cups that I just adored lol. I think they usually have pastries but they were out that day. That's really my only complaint cause I was hungry lol. Otherwise, this place is definitely a great coffee spot to check out!!! read more
Wildroots is the cutest hidden gem! They have such delicious coffee and I love how they always go all out with holiday themes! My friend introduced me to this place recently and I had to try something off of their fall menu so I grabbed a dirt and worms iced latte. They have such creative menu items and I love that you can choose which mug you get if you dine in. The service has always been great here, everyone is super friendly! They also validate your parking for an hour I believe if you park in the deck attached to the building (which really helps with how crazy parking is in that area). The only thing is I wish they had more seating spots for dine in but the space itself is fairly small, otherwise love this spot! read more
This is a small, cute and quiet coffee shop great for a quick meeting or work on your laptop for a few minutes while enjoying great coffee. Wild Roots Coffee is centrally located inside an office building near uptown with an attached garage (validated for an hour). It's easy to get to with the GPS if you are not familiar with the area. The menu offers a small amount of hot and coffee options and pastries, but it doesn't really matter to me. What I really like is the vibe and how quiet it is! I love it! 100% recommended! read more

It's a coffee or tea spot and it does it well. They are moving soon as the building they are in was recently sold which is unfortunate since it's so cute - kinda like an industrial garage turned into a funky coffee house! Hubby tried the mushroom coffee and liked it - it's called Chagaccino! Notes of chocolate cinnamon and other spices! My latte was made with oat milk and no foam just like I prefer. The only staff there was super friendly and gave us all the deets on the new location a few blocks away. In the new space they'll offer food as well. read more

What once was the cutest little coffee trailer is now the cutest little coffee shop in South End. I had the salted Maldon maple latte with oat milk and it was delicious! I give this place five stars, but if what the other reviewer said about no public restroom and no air conditioning is true, I would knock my rating down.
