    Two carrot cake lattes
    Maddie R.

Stopped by the other day with my puppy, mom, and sister. Loved that it was pet friendly and that they had seating inside and outside. My mom and I each ordered a carrot cake latte and they were delish! They were topped off with cream cheese cold foam and a little bunny graham cracker too. So cute! The inside is so girl coded and has the most friendly baristas!!

This latte was SO GOOD. This was my first time at WR and everyone was so sweet! Their new menu had just dropped and this drink was one of the yummy things to be listed. My friend also got the fruity pebbles matcha and loved it. If I had the chance, I'd definitely go back to try the Cinnamon Toast Crunch iced latte and Cookie Crisp. 10/10

First time here and it's kinda a hidden gem. Park in the parking deck as you do get your parking validated. It's kinda a small space with not that many seating. They have a limited menu. I can't remember if they serve food or snack. Service is self serve. First time here and I got the crème brûlée matcha and it was actually delicious. I like my matcha on the sweeter side so it was good. I would say their prices are a little too high. I believe this was 10$. I would come again to try something different.

Located in the lobby of this office building, this tiny coffee shop gets the job done. They have limited seating inside and out, but the hightop tables outside worked for me with a nearby power outlet. I enjoyed my small latte very much and sitting here for two hours was easy. Parking on a nearby street was free. Just be sure not to block a fire hydrant or a driveway - the next car up from me had a parking ticket! I went to Uptown location. Strong cappuccino at a good price. They were not busy so I was able to get my coffee fast and go. Good service. Casual. Please come and create your own adventure.

This is one of the recommended coffee shops when I was doing research for coffee shops on TikTok. The first day that we got here, we ordered the Key Lime Pie latte and the Chocolate Chip Cookie latte. I love that they're not too sweet and the flavors are very distinct. The following day, since we were heading towards Raleigh, we drop by this coffee shop to order the Banana Pudding latte. I tasted the pudding first before mixing it with the drink and it was so delicious! It's not too sweet so I didn't feel like I was just ingesting dessert for breakfast. When mixed with the coffee, it didn't make the coffee too sweet but just added that perfect banana pudding flavor. The staff were super nice and friendly. They told about us about how they make the banana pudding themselves, which made me excited to try it! The space has a very retro feel - like the 60s or 70s! If I remember correctly, it's inside an office building so there were several employees getting coffee there. I don't think I'd be back in Charlotte anytime soon, but if I do, I'd love to go back here!

Coffee was delicious! Service was so friendly. The shop had such a cute and funky vibe. I'd definitely go back.

Talk about groovy ! This coffee shop is a true hidden gem ! It's a 70's themed coffee shop myself & a friend stopped into yesterday and it's super cute inside and so on theme ! Inside you will see nostalgic items like a record player and they have the cutest private booths towards the back with beads draping from them from just like back in the day . I remember my grandparents having those in their doorway lol . Get there early enough to swag one of the coolest seats in the house ! The specialty drinks are so fun I ordered the lucky charms lavender latte and it was actually good I wasn't expecting much but it was pretty darn tasty ! This will be my honey comb hideout when I want to get away it's nice n quiet inside which I also love . Add this one to the top of you list

Adorable little coffee shop inside of a larger building. Delicious seasonal espresso beverages, homemade syrups, friendly staff, great ambiance. We didn't try any of the edible treats but they looked delicious.

This is hands down my favorite coffee shop in Charlotte--truly a hidden gem. The lattes here are always changing with fun, unique flavors. My favorite so far has been the blueberry pancake matcha latte. The café itself is aesthetic and cute, making it a great spot to relax or catch up with friends. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall great vibe. Highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area!

SOOOO adorable!!!!! A must visit. I am already counting down the days until I can come back!!! Absolutely adorable decor and aesthetic I am obsessed! They did a phenomenal job decorating this place. The seasonal menu was so cool with a bunch of great flavor options. My group got the Gingerbread Latte with oat milk and the Peppermint Mocha and both were delicious. We also got the iced latte with their maple syrup and it was incredible. Their ingredients taste so pure and authentic, not the synthetic and overly commercial stuff that other coffee shops use. The employees were so kind and warm to make your morning start off great! They made our orders so fast. A bit pricey but worth it for how cute it is inside. A bit limited seating too, I'd like to see them add more seating to help more people sit and hang out and enjoy the space. No food options when I came.

Review for Amélie's French Bakery & Café…read more As a transplant from the West Coast--specifically San Francisco, where high-quality bakeries and true French pâtisseries are plentiful--I was genuinely excited to try Amélie's after moving to Charlotte. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing, and after giving it more than one chance, it's simply not a place I plan to return to. The concept feels more like a themed destination than a serious bakery. The interior is whimsical and eye-catching, with decorative elements like a faux Eiffel Tower, which clearly appeals to visitors looking for a fun atmosphere. However, if you've spent time in authentic French cafés or bistros, you know the real charm is understated elegance--wood, mirrors, tile, and craftsmanship. This felt more theatrical than authentic. Where it fell short for me was the food. For a place calling itself a French bakery and pâtisserie, the absence of classic laminated pastries was surprising. I was expecting staples like Napoleons, kouign-amann, or beautifully executed croissants. What I found instead were pastries that looked average and lacked the refinement and technique you'd expect from a true pâtisserie. On my visits, I tried: * A leek soup that was supposed to be cream-based but tasted thin and under-seasoned--more like warm vegetable water than a properly developed soup. * A baguette sandwich with fig, Brie, and apple that sounded promising but was poorly executed. The bread was overly hard, and the balance of ingredients felt off, making the sandwich less enjoyable than expected. I gave Amélie's two chances, hoping the second visit would change my impression. It didn't. To be fair, the café clearly has a loyal following and works well as a social or casual gathering spot. But if you're specifically looking for high-quality French pastries or refined bakery craftsmanship, there are stronger options in the Charlotte area. Personally, I'd recommend: * Renaissance Patisserie for more traditional European-style pastries * Paris Baguette at Rea Farms for consistency and better execution * Or trusted local favorites closer to home Bottom line: Fun atmosphere, but the food didn't meet expectations for a French bakery. After multiple visits, it's a pass for me.

My only downside was the bottom of the drink tasted gritty and had a white residue left at the bottom. Also, I initially wanted the drink with light ice and this was my first encounter at a shop that charges extra for light ice (45 cents). Not a huge deal and I understand that companies incur more costs for light ice or no ice. Maybe I could justify the additional charge for getting the drink without ice, but I still wanted ice---just not a lot of it. I just would've like to have been told about it or seen some signage about the additional charge since the toppings and other add ons are listed out. I could've missed where it was listed out, but I don't think I saw anything written out. Nonetheless, after a few healthy gulps, I was sad that the drink was gone. I would come back to try other items.
