3.8 Pretty good latte. I don't like cookie butter, so I knew I needed to get some thing other than their signature airplane latte. There was a small sign for the summer latte options, but not an overall sign with the general menu - which is kind of odd. So I had to "create my own" drink. 2.5 for the ambiance, which was a bit weird too, and kind of all over the place. You can't really tell what vibe they're going for. Boxes piled up everywhere, a random balloon arch. A merch table ? The waiting line also goes right through the middle of the seating area. So I kept getting bumped into and having to move back to make way for walking people. Very clunky. 1.0 The last thing I'll note, which isn't an overall ding towards them, but it added to the experience...I was waiting behind 1 single girl, and when she was next - FIVE other people came up to join her. Ordering one by one. And then a group of 6 other people tried to join in, but then somehow ended up behind me. The line was already 10 people deep. I'm not sure how anyone let this happen.... read more

Warm apple fritter. Maybe not what you would have thought when walking in, but they warm it up and serve it on a plate with just the right amount of small apple chunks in it! Mouth watering to say the least. The avocado toast was good and fulfilling. I wouldn't say great but along with a solid cappuccino it was good. read more

Fast and friendly service in a lovely and quaint atmosphere. I ordered their specialty latte and the Beattie's bagel. Both came out quickly. I wasn't quite expecting the coffee drink to be more like a dessert, but here were are. It was so tasty and delicious, but a bit too sweet for breakfast. The bagel sandwich was delicious. I had it work turkey sausage and it was so simple and delicious it was perfect. I'm glad I was able to stop in after reading the great reviews. read more

Ordered and avocado toast and added an egg. The menu says to add an egg was +$1 but it was over $2 when charged. What's the point in having prices listed if they are not correct. Took 20 minutes for the food to be made. Overall, the staff was friendly but the food was not worth the wait or the money. read more

We were in Charlotte for a weekend of events and stopped by Lottie's on our way to a Panthers game recently. It was obviously packed on game day and so there was a little wait, but nothing crazy. Ordered the Purr Latte to get in the Gametime spirit and a bagel sandwich. The sandwich was pretty decent, nothing overly impressive. The coffee was very tasty, although missing the "blue". It's a packed place with raving reviews! BUT I think they weren't ready for the crowd. Terrible customer service: I was standing next in line rather than telling me she was working on something the cashier ignored my existence and didn't even tell me a thing.. it was over 5 minutes and she was standing right in front of me.... Terrible. Then another girl comes as soon as I say the deluxe avo toast she said it's going to be 25 minutes annoyed demeanor... I told her never mind. I'll just get a drink. I hope the drink and the walk are worth it. Now I have to find food elsewhere. I'm really bummed the service was terrible. Cute place local stuff to shop - nothing has the price listed. So there might be surprises there. I was really hopefully for this place and to try the food. Took a point away - drink has no flavor way too much milk and no lavender. We recently had a very relaxing and tasty lunch at Lottie's during our first visit in Charlotte! We came in initially to have a bite to eat, because we were really feeling some egg and cheese sandwiches and coffee, but ended up sticking around for a while longer because the whole vibe was relaxing, inviting, and everyone around seemed to have had the same idea! Love supporting local coffee shops, and I had to make my way to Lottie's. The space is super cute from indoor seating to window seating to outdoor seating. Throughout the café you can buy local items like candles and hats. I ordered the iced Biscoff latte and avocado toast. The customer service was great. We ordered to go but ended up sitting to eat. Someone came up to check on us just to make sure they didn't accidentally make our food to go instead of for eating in. Would definitely go back to switch my work from home routine. Only con is paying for parking if you don't live uptown. read more

I had the best time at an event hosted at Lottie's called the Coffee Set. The coffee line was *long,* but my drink came out in minutes, I couldn't believe it! I ordered a honey vanilla latte. It was tasty, just not as sweet as other shops, but I'd definitely try it again. Everyone around me had fun looking frappes and amazing pastries. On a weekday, this would be a great spot to work--there are plenty of parking decks around to make coming and going easy. read more

So the place looks nice at the beginning but after that everything falls down. 1) they don't have a paper menu, so you need actually to look at your phone to look at the menu 2) I ordered a cappuccino and I got a café au lait. No foam nothing 3) my friend ordered an americano : he got it iced instead of hot 4) I ordered a "Deluxe Avo toast" really? What is deluxe with a poor quality white bread toast that you have on the top a poor smashed avocado with no flavor . No good presentation 5) the side potatoes we ordered came from a frozen bag! The place was a little hard to find, but the food and coffee were pretty good. Overall, the food lacked a bit of flavor -- definitely looks better in pictures . It took about 25 minutes to get our order. The café itself is cute inside. I asked for hot sauce and a fork since they were out at the self-serve area, and the staff member who helped me wasn't very friendly, which was disappointing after spending $40 here. What a wonderful coffee experience! Lottie's is one of my favorite coffee shops in Charlotte and I always go here when I'm visiting. The staff is warm and inviting, the coffee shop is really just a great vibe, great to work but also catch up with friends. Parking can be a bit of a challenge in that area but I'm typically walking. You can't go wrong with anything you order but make sure to get a little food too, I love their egg bites! read more

Really great coffee from a great local shop. I ordered the apple cider chai and it was a bit different and interesting so I wasn't mad at it. I also ordered the avocado toast with bacon and egg on it. This was a pretty delicious and filling meal. I ordered it to go so I won't share the if because it looked not super in a dark box, but it tasted super. Lots of seating inside and limited seating outside. Lottie's is such a charming, inviting spot to work or chill! I ordered a Toasted Marshmallow iced coffee and their Beattie's Bagel, which is eggs, cheddar and turkey sausage on an Everything Bagel, and both arrived looking fresh and exactly how I like them. (They also have a wide array of syrup and flavoring options for their coffee, like Apple and Toffee. something you don't see too often.) My mom opted for The Deluxe Avo Toast which was white bread, bacon, Pecorino and red pepper with a perfectly cooked over easy egg. I didn't get to taste it but MAN did it look pretty. And here's a fun tidbit: "Lottie's" is actually a nickname for Char-Lotte. Clever, right? Anyway. Love it here. Will definitely be adding this spot to my weekly rotation. read more

Beautiful coffee shop, lovely decor , with great lattes and an amazing bacon and egg breakfast sandwich! I was pleasantly surprised . I'm typically not into sauces and jams (so I got everything on the side) BUT once I put it all on , the flavors mixed so well and my tastebuds came alive ! The epicenter is coming back! Love this little cafe. Light wood and coastal vibes and friendly staff. Huge fan of the bagels they use and the coffee did the trick for caffeine. The toasted marshmallow flavor didn't come through on my latte but otherwise good cup of coffee. They have a great outdoor space if you are walking your dog. I love this little cafe. It's a great addition to the Uptown community. The cafe is named after the owner's (Ayesha, I believe her name is) grandmother. Very wholesome. Great staff, location, menu, and merch! I actually bought a cap from here very early on when they first opened. The setup is very favorable with indoor and outside seating. I've noticed customers have decided this is a good location for remote working. I dined back in October 2024 and ordered the Hugo Hash for breakfast. It was hustling and bustling by the time I walked in so I did have to wait. That was expected. My expectations were met. It was a good portion of food, savory, and met all the flavors I was looking forward to. It's a great location for those in nearby hotels to stop by. They even have a separate rewards card for persons who live in the Uptown neighborhood. I'll be back of course. read more

Cute place! I got the blackberry molasses hot and it was DELICIOUS. The barista who took my order really ate with this recommendation. The cream foam is super fluffy and the blackberry flavor was so subtle but phenomenal. The flavor itches a part of my brain that invokes a memory that I don't think I actually had but I'm nostalgic about it. Such a cute spot in Uptown. Truly a gorgeous space. The large windows give it so much light. A perfect place for breakfast and teleworking. They have a short breakfast menu but it feels like they cover all the bases. I got the SEC bagel, which was good. I would've loved some kind of seasoning in the sausage though. There was a sauce on the side that paired really well and added some flavor. The raspberry latte was your standard, meaning delicious. They got my coffee and food out relatively quickly. However, after taking my first sip in the car, it immediately tasted like strawberry milk. Since I was on my way to work, I kept drinking it, expecting the matcha flavor to come through, but it never did. It was disappointing because the drink was nothing like the one I've had several times at other Haraz locations. I hope this location places an emphasis on training and consistency so the drinks meet the same standard as the rest of the Haraz locations. On a positive note, the staff members were kind, welcoming, and greeted me as soon as I walked in.

The proceeds go to local and global missions of the church. Win, win all the way around. The place itself is very spacious. Two levels. The seating areas are comfortable and far enough apart you can have some semiprivacy if you need it. My friend who brought me says she comes here all the time to study (she's in college). All of the staff knew her by name. (love places like that) I'm not a coffee drinker so I can't really speak to the coffee (although my friend says it's pretty good). I am a tea drinker though and they have a variety of flavors, some refresher juice drinks, a few pastries. Please support.
