Parking in Plaza Midwood can be challenging, it is limited and reverse angle parking.

We opted for a cortado, a vanilla lavender matcha, and a chicken chorizo breakfast burrito. Everything tasted delicious and was served fast. We sat for around an hour working on our laptops and weren't interrupted. There were people chatting as well, so it's a great space to do both. I absolutely loved the fact that you can get other drinks too, since they have a large selection of wines and seltzers. Everyone we talked with was super sweet--I can't wait to visit again!

Anyway, I sat by a very friendly caressing plant until the 2 guys on their tinder date left the couch. There were no outlets at some of the other spots so I waited out and side eye the couch spot. A minute after I sat down, a lovely couple tried to squeeze the vintage wooden booth that looked like it was built before the civil war. Cute tho but tiny. I told them they were fine to join me so they could sit in the comfy chairs! And that I didn't mind. So they were grateful to join my spot back here in the last room. I don't need to bogart the whole corner so I was happy also that they came over. Food is good here and everyone nice and helped me carry my order so I didn't spill my beloved matcha latte!

I had recently tried this drink at another Haraz location and loved it so much that I officially considered myself a matcha drinker. When I received my drink, I noticed it looked much pinker than it had at the other locations I'd visited. I assumed it had just been mixed and that the usual layers of matcha, strawberry, and whipped cloud had blended together, so I didn't think much of it. However, after taking my first sip in the car, it immediately tasted like strawberry milk. Since I was on my way to work, I kept drinking it, expecting the matcha flavor to come through, but it never did. It was disappointing because the drink was nothing like the one I've had several times at other Haraz locations. I hope this location places an emphasis on training and consistency so the drinks meet the same standard as the rest of the Haraz locations. On a positive note, the staff members were kind, welcoming, and greeted me as soon as I walked in.

That's because they had a huge map outlining the historical trade routes that coffee beans were transported on, as well as an homage to some of the patrons of coffee cultivation. They backed up these historical displays with great customer service, a solid cup of coffee, and a truly mesmerizing ambiance. I've been to so many coffee shops in my life, and Qahwah House was the first time, if not ever, then definitely in a long time, that I felt like I experienced something unique. I loved it. Overall, I loved Qahwah House, and I'll assuredly be back as soon as I can. I'd also recommend it to anybody looking for something new to experience!

You can actually watch the nitro percolating and settling in the glass when it's poured, which is such a treat. To go with the coffee, I ordered the breakfast burrito and a chocolate pastry. The burrito was delicious and generous in size, served with a salsa that brought a great kick without being overbearing. The chocolate pastry was fresh, flaky, and hit the spot. Service from the staff on the first floor was attentive and helpful, and the space has a solid energy to it. Parking is tight (the lot only holds a handful of cars), and while the noise level is moderate, it's nothing a good pair of headphones can't handle if you're looking to get some focus work done. They have a small outdoor seating area, which is nice, because the inside is very... cozy. Staff is friendly and helped us choose these great desserts Also had their tiramisu here in the past and it was delicious. Overall, really solid bakery.
