The fast-casual market in Fort Mill is ever growing and in myself trying to experience some of the restaurants since being back, Naf-Naf Grill was towards the top of my list. I went earlier in the day so there was no crowd and I got early to all the fresh food. The menu options are simple, but diverse in their own way. I could have chosen between a pita, a bowl, or a plate. I opted for a plate. The plate consisted of the couscous, chicken, steak, and some of their toppings. Portions were decent and the flavor was great. The couscous was a solid base and I'm glad I tried it, although I would probably opt for rice in the future. Their spicy Harissa sauce was good to help give some kick to the whole dish. I also got a pita which was delicious. The staff was kind, including Riley who was super kind and helpful in assuring to figure out what kind of food I wanted to try. I never heard of Naf Naf and passed it on a drive. The building and little shopping center looked new and modern with outdoor seating, plenty of free parking, and a bright orange sign to grab my attention. It seems like the same type of place as Mezeh. However, I didn't love Mezeh... but I sure did enjoy Naf Naf! The food was delicious, plentiful for a chance at leftovers, the seating area is open and capable, and the service really stood out. I'm not sure if it was a manager and employees, or 3 employees, but both guys and gal were super helpful in taking time to describe the flavors, sauces, and brought extra to the table and asked how I was enjoying it. read more

They recently opened in the busy Brayden Plaza so there are many food options there. I had the Chicken Schwarma pita with tahini sauce. It was a large pita but unfortunately not alot of chicken. The favor was underwhelming. You have the option of adding alot of other toppings to enhance the flavor but I was really going for the taste of the chicken. It was OK. You have the option of using their app for 'to go' or 'delivery' orders. There is plenty of free parking and they have a nice outside patio when the weather is nice. Awful food, awful service, ridiculously expensive for what it is. Had never been to this place and didn't know what to expect. Went on a weekend afternoon and only one other customer inside. Two employees were talking with each other and couldn't be bothered to look up when we walked in. It wasn't clear which end we were supposed to order at so we told the workers "sorry, we haven't been here and don't know how it works" and they just stared at us like we were a disturbance instead of offering to explain the menu or where you even order. They also mumbled so quietly when we asked questions and when we would say "sorry, what was that?" they just stopped repeating themselves and glared at us. The service was truly appalling. The quality of the food was terrible too. The chicken was cold and gristly, the whole pita was soggy and fell apart, and there were barely any other toppings put into either my or my husbands pita. Heads up to anyone who is thinking about going to eat here, if you enjoy hygienic places you won't want to come here. My partner and I went here for the first time a couple months ago. While we were eating we noticed two of the folks making the food and handling the food not take their gloves off and touch their faces and then pull their phone out and use their phone, not to mention coughing into their gloves as well. They didn't get new gloves on when they served the next guest. I reached out to Naf Naf directly to let them know this is unfortunate as a hygienic issue and I never heard back from them. Naf Naf Middle Eastern Grill is new to Fort Mill as of November 2022, but is part of a chain with multiple locations in other states. I have been to the Middle East numerous times and I enjoy the food there; so, the question I asked myself is would I be happy with the food I received from Naf Naf Fort Mill the two times I have been. The answer is YES. Both times I ordered the build your own plate so that I could try a larger variety of the menu. The first time I ordered chicken shawarma and falafel, then the second time I ordered chicken shawarma and steak. Both times I got baba ghanoush, couscous, all the toppings and all the sauces. The harissa and s'khug both add nice heat and flavor to the dish, with the harissa (red) sauce being hotter than the s'khug (green) sauce. Tahini sauce adds a nice nutty flavor and the Garlic sauce is an absolute must. The plate is large and could be two meals. I will be returning to Naf Naf read more
