Another issue is that when you order simple sushi rolls, like just tuna/salmon rolls or the ones with avocado, they often stick a gigantic piece of the fish in them, which makes them disproportionally large and difficult to eat multiple of. I assume that's by design, since they want you to fill up faster to save money, but it really detracts from the experience. Some of the fried rolls are also made way too big and are just obnoxious to consume, so I don't order them anymore. My last main complaint is that there's really just not a lot of variety when it comes to nigiri/sashimi. Since both of the tuna options suck, that limits the options even further. I haven't seen any yellowtail options (even for rolls) in a while. If they expanded the selections more and started using better quality tuna (at least for the nigiri), I would select the gold dinner menu much more frequently.
