I am looking for a regular nail salon in the area. The first time I came here I didn't really have any expectations. I did see that they welcome new nail techs i thought that was a nice touch. The first time I don't feel like she heard me when I requested a certain shape so they were just square nails, but they were fine lasted weeks. The second time they were getting a bit booked up and I didn't have much time so I waited about 35 minutes for my pedicure to start and ended up only getting a fill on my nails. The yellow sparkly ones you see there The only thing I can say is I paid more for a that fill (68 + tip) than I did for the original set (65+ tip) that I got. The original said I got clear straight tips in a medium set the second set is the yellow sparkle nails. That was kind of annoying I feel is also worth mentioning that my first time there I had nails on and I wanted to fill but I also had color acrylic. This shop does not do fill on colored nails since they only use gel polishes. So I ended up getting a medium full set. My nails have been decent both times which is why I doubled back the service is fair. No overall complaints just noted from my personal experience. read more

in my whole 31 years of living, I've never had my nails done this horrible. it looks like I tried to do my nails myself. They have a girl inside who just started doing nails, though she is very nice, i don't think I should have to pay full price for unprofessional work. I paid $150 for my nails and toes and I'm honestly embarrassed. I had 2 great experience so far at happy nails. The first one was when they emergency fixed my nail right before I left for vacation and even though I didn't get my original set from them and my visit today blew me away. T and his wife are incredibly friendly and fun to chat with. I gave T a picture of a candy cane nail and he asked if he could do a little bit more and he did an incredible job decorating the rest of my nails for Christmas. I got full set fake nails and they did not last that long at all. They popped right off. Usually my thumb nails are the hardest to get off but this time they were the first time come right off. Polishing could have been a lot better. Just disappointed on how these fake nails just popped right off so easily and quick. They also didn't put the nail all the way down to my cuticle so they looked grown out the next day. They were also more focused on everything else going on around them then me. read more

The woman there was extremely friendly! The guy that did my nails did not to a great job. Firstly when he applied the gel it was not dry all the way when he told me they were done. The woman was nice but it's incredibly slow here. The biggest issue is the man who did my nails literally was clipping my actual finger instead of my cuticles! I literally yelled in pain twice! I was visiting from CA. I just got my nails done prior to the trip and broke one right at my nail bed. I was unsure if you could re do them. I did some research and compared a few places and gave Happy Nails a call. The nail tech Thanh was very informative and advised he could repair it so it won't keep hurting. He did a great job being cautious. I also picked out this design and he added a twist and made it better! All of the staff here are so intuitive and had great service overall! I feel like once star rating is absolutely too much to even give them they were nice but it was extremely rushed I showed them a picture to tell exactly what I wanted but they look completely different they're big they are bulky and absolutely not smooth when I walked in I showed him the picture of what I want it they quoted me at $60 when I walked out he ended up being $120 which I could not understand why would it be that much of a difference they charge me over a dollar apiece for the rhinestones which is very crazy because I've never been charged that much but besides the price they did an absolutely terrible job that one of my nails are actually infected because the Harding gel was over my fingers!! I called this place and asked if walk-ins were welcome. She said yes. I asked if appts were better or could guarantee first priority, and she said first come, first served. I got there and signed in at 3:30,l; they close at 6. I told her on the phone and when I signed in that I wanted a full set and pedicure. I sat and waited for an hour and ten minutes before she called my name and directed me to a chair. 15 minutes later she sat down and asked what I wanted: full set and pedicure. She told me I'd need to make an appointment for the next day because they didn't have any time to do that. I'm giving it a 2 because the receptionist was very kind, and they were all working hard with lots of customers. I went here to get a full set. It said $25 and I went to pay and they charged me $57. The nails looked puffy and weren't smooth. They didn't cover the whole nail and they're crooked. They were super friendly but I wish they would've taken their time and done more quality work. It wasn't worth over $60 after tip. They may have just been rushed because there were only 2 people working and they were going back and forth between clients. Either way, I would ask them ahead of time for a price so you don't get done and end up paying over twice as much. I'd also be more assertive if they aren't straight or cleanly done and ask them to fix it especially if they're going to charge so much. read more

A one star rating is too much. I just dropped in to have my toe polish changed and nail trim, and twice he sent me through the roof with his happy toe nail cutting too close! Later in the day I went for a walk, put on socks and shoes, and the entire toe area of my sock was red with blood. Have you tried going to sleep with a throbbing toe? I almost do not even want to review here because I'm so upset. But, I kept my composure, like a good girl. So, I go in on a whim, I was close and needed them filled. I walk in and ask how long it would be. She said that I was next. There was a woman in there that she was currently working on. Mind you, there were only two employees, which I don't pity; That is part of the problem. Anyways, okay, I go pick out my color and she tells me I can sit in seat 4. I sit down, two more girls walk in wanting their nails soaked off and redone. Another girl comes in and just wants polish. She sits down next to me and waits. The guy (only other employee working) finishes his girl and then goes to the girl asking for polish. Keep in mind, all of these people are, in fact, walk ins. I told my husband to come back from Garfield Park with our daughter, so I could be picked up. Especially, after the woman told the lady she got a bad rash after leaving last time and if it wasn't for her limitations, being 2 minutes away and needing her feet done, she would go somewhere else. It's a average nail salon. $25 for a full set. I do appreciate that they haven't started charging for using a credit card like the place in greenwood mall (don't go to them).
