I really wanted to love this place. I was stopping in for a gel polish change. I have very beautiful natural nails. The girl started off removing my polish with the electric drill. Usually they will just remove the clear coat with the drill then wrap my nails in acetone for a few minutes, then gently scrape the remainder off. This girl removed all the polish leaving my natural nails thin and fragile. Sadly, the next day one broke completely off. I shouldn't have to tell the nail tech how to do their job. I take great pride in my nails and I'd appreciate a little consideration and care when it comes to caring for them. I had just gotten these nails done today and the wall of the salon it states that a full acrylic set starts at $50 however I was charged $70 just for polka dots. Also in the photos you can clearly see that my stylist did not go to the cuticle making it so I have to get a fill sooner. The pink of my nails was also not the color I had wanted nor showed her before getting the nails. I do not recommend especially for what I paid. read more

I had my nails done a few days ago, I had an overlay and gel toe polish change. The girl doing my nails made sure my polish was fully cured since black polish takes a little longer but my nail tech doing my toes was not as thoughtful. I went home and got ready to go out that evening and woke up the next day to both big toes polish bubbled, wrinkled and peeling. I also called to schedule with Ivy but I was told she stepped out and after a couple of calls I asked if someone else could do my nails, I was told they don't do same day appointments so I did a walk in and was not turned away. I am not sure if they know the salons appointment policy or if they were giving me the run around seeing they were super busy. They definitely do not have the best customer service! read more

Generally I get good manicures at this very busy salon but $30 for a regular manicure ($36 with tip) is too much for a 20 minute visit

The first time I came in over the winter for services everything was great! I was seated fairly quickly and spoken to as soon as I walked in. This last time I visited it was about two weeks ago and when I got there, I was waiting for an hour for someone to even ask me what services I came in for or be seated. I added my name onto the sign in sheet and all, and still was met with no greeting or even prepped for my service. I came in for a toe polish change and a gel X full set. read more

Truly a horrible experience here. :( I grew up in the area and have always heard good things about them but today's experience will never have me returning. I went in around lunch time to ask if they did hard gel, multiple people confirmed with me they do indeed do it, and I made an appt for later in the day. I arrive, check with the technician that I would be getting a hard gel fill, and was confirmed again. ONLY AFTER THEY FILED ALL OF MY CURRENT NAILS OFF did they tell me they didn't have hard gel. Tried to press something called gel powder???? It's LITERALLY acrylic. The only thing I said is that I didn't want acrylic and I didn't want any nail drill along my actual nail. Neither of which was respected. I felt like a broken record and at the time I had naked nails, I didn't really have a choice but to proceed with something they offered. I asked for a design and gave an inspo photo, and the technician also had no creative sense at all. Two of my nails were also injured on the skin around the nail due to an overzealous nail drill. I have been going here for years, but haven't visited for several months. My usual nail tech, Ruby, is longer here is why I've not been coming. My daughter wanted to get her nails done since she is on spring break. Though they are excellent at doing nails. Possibly the best in the city. Their need for a system to be in place for customers coming in, to sign in, is much needed. Starting March 1st, 2022 they no longer take appointments. We were there two hours and 50 minutes from the time we walked in the front door until walking out with a new set of nails. The decor and pedi chairs are very tasteful. A sign in system with automated texting would be an excellent plus for this location. I will also add Sammy and Ivy are the two best nail techs. read more

My review is based off of both visits. This is my second time checking in here. I called this last time to see if I could make an appointment for 10 minutes after my call. The lady said they like to make appointments, but they would take me (I thought I was calling to make an appointment....). I told the lady on the phone, if you can't take me that's fine. She assured me they could take me. I should have gotten her name. Anyways, I've been here waiting patiently. Even though I was informed they take walk-ins, it is unclear how they are incorporating the walk-ins with the flow of appointments. A little unorganized. Time: after 5:30pm on a Monday; Service requested: manicure, no polish My first visit went fine, but that's based off of an appointment before 12pm. Service requested: pedicure. The lady was nice, but she was a little lazy (my opinion). She felt my foot was smooth enough (her words, not mine), so there wasn't much effort put into scrubbing my foot. I just moved to Brownsburg & have gone to Ivy Nails twice. The first time I called for an appointment and requested Ivy. She did my nails beautifully and they lasted a little over 2 weeks. I went back last Friday & I am not sure the nail tech's name (she sits in station 11), she was aggressive, and cut my skin. Not to mention, she only gave me one book of colors and when I asked for more color options, she said that is all she had. (???) It was not even 48 hours later, one of my nails started peeling (with no chip polish that should. be unacceptable) I went back and got my nail fixed. It's now Wednesday & I had a whole nail break in half. This $50 set didn't even last me a week, let alone 2 days. Don't come here unless you get Ivy or Sammy otherwise the $50 fill-in won't be worth it. Go 5 min down the street and get a good quality fill for $40 instead. read more

I told her put $10 cash and the rest on my card, she put the whole amount on my card and i had to Walk back in there and throw a fit for them to charge me the correct amount. I went to Ivy Nails because of the rave reviews I did read, so I feel obligated to write this review. So I'll start with the positives: The people were VERY nice. I feel like the woman I had put in quite a bit of effort, and did an okay job. The wait was probably 15 mins or so, even with an appointment, but they stayed very busy even for a Monday. The nail color isn't exactly what I wanted, but she tried to get it pretty close. She spent quite a bit of time on my nail shape and I am pretty please with it! I'll rate the shape an 8/10. So pretty good, but room for improvement. The negatives: I don't feel like it was very clean! I hate to say it, but I hate when my hands are in other people's nail dust. She uses the same nail file and drill tips on every person. She also uses the same brush to dust off nails, and it's covered in other people's nail dust. Not a big fan. Also I feel like she wrecked my cuticles. Ill post pics, but she took the edges off to the point it was hurting and bleeding. This was truly the worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon to date. The nail technician didn't take my previous dip powder off correctly - only filing them halfway with no acetone applied to remove the base powder. Despite the picture I showed, she chose to apply a pink base coat, instead of a nude or white. There was no nail care applied whatsoever - no cuticle clipping, no cutting of nails, no moisturizer applied. Polish was thrown on and wasn't even dried correctly as my nails were still tacky. To say that I was disappointed would be an understatement. I truly can't believe that they would charge any money for this service. read more

Watch the powder dipped colors. I picked out a deep red and pink sparkle but the technician took it upon herself to pick up a deep red and an ORANGE sparkle. "For Thanksgiving" I am disappointed because my nails were done well, but not at all what I envisioned or asked for. My 5 year old daughter came along and got her nails painted. Her fingernail got messed up and when I asked for it to be fixed I was handed a bottle that wasnt even the same color and was told to do it myself. Color is 606 on my toes and on my nails. I asked for super short nails, to the skin. I usually stick to just gel, but splurged on the acrylics before vacation. My dip wasn't done correctly, the manicurist rushed the entire time resulting in cutting my cuticle, flawing a nail that she then tried to cover with glitter polish that I 1. Didn't ask for and 2. I almost don't want to post a good review because I don't want them to get busier! First thing I will mention right off the bat. This place has probably been here forever (I'm new around here). It's not the frufru pretty new place in town with fancy chairs (other than the pedicure chairs). Straight up, it needs major TLC or a huge overhaul inside because lemme tell ya, it's been "lived in" Outside of that, the girls here are really sweet and fun. Ruby did my nails and she was so fun and nice to talk to. They have Gel Dip Powder here. My nails were damaged damaged damaged, broken brittle thin. Ruby suggested I put on a plastic tip extender, literally the tips they put on you when you get acrylic nails done, then do the Dip Powder on top. She mentioned it would help my natural nail grow without suffocating it in plastic acrylic. She cut them super short and made them look natural. It acts like a brace for my natural nail to grow. The best part is it's not like acrylic where it can break and your nail breaks with it. The Gel is pliable and flexible with give so they don't have that tension to break. This is THE BEST alternative to acrylic nails! Especially if you want to grow your natural nails out. You're so smart Ruby. I'll post a picture. The one thing too, the gel dip powder will be very thick and bumpy. It doesn't look bad to be honest, just don't think it will be so smooth. Painted on gel is bumpy too, though and Ruby did put an extra layer on it for me too. My Aunts go here regularly and love it. read more

Ivy Nails is my new favorite spot for a pedicure. The employees are all very friendly and work hard to make your experience as relaxing as possible. Even when the salon is very busy, you can be in and out pretty quickly because they are well staffed. The massage chairs are great, and the technicians do a fantastic job of massaging, cleaning, and beautifying your feet. The prices are also very reasonable. I highly recommend Ivy Nails! read more

I had an appointment at IVy nails to get my nails and my feet done but when Sammy got done with my nails she stated no one wanted to do my feet because they were ready to leave for the day. The owner Ivy just set there and did not offer to assist me. As a business owner she should have made sure that all the services I asked for was done but I guess providing good customer service is not what this nail shop practice. I had an event to attend the same night so I had to find someone at the last minute at another shop to assist me. I so tired of the unprofessional businesses now a days and poor customer service. This nail shop continue to go up on their prices, but don't want to assist you. People should not patronize businesses like this. I have been going to this establishment for a few years and I always tip the person who service me, but I will NOT patronize this business ever again. today i went to get my nails done, a full acrylic set with a french tip for back to school. i had booked a week prior for 10 am, and i arrived 5 minutes early and waited. i was not even acknowledged until 10:56, almost an hour after my appointment was scheduled for. i understand being a little behind, but even when i was addressed they asked me about pedicures which isn't what i booked. i am extremely patient and understanding, and i know salons can be hard to manage times with walk ins, etc. when i finally sat in a chair, i waited another 10 minutes before a man came and sat down. my nails were shorter than what i asked for multiple times, and very poorly shaped. i asked for a white french tip, and showed a picture of how i wanted them. every single one of my nails is a different length and shape. when i mentioned i didn't like the way the french tip was looking and how the base was very see through still, i was shut down and dismissed and honestly the nail tech was really rude. in the end i had him paint over the nails with solid white, paid, and left. i have never had a nail set take less than an hour, but the quality shows how rushed it was as well in the 35 minutes he took. very thin, not sharp, shape missing. i spent more time waiting than actually having my nails done. the overall experience was really upsetting and my nails still cost $50, but the salon was clean and aesthetically pleasing. i just wish i had a better tech! read more

Do not go here!! I consider myself a nail expert - I get dip or gel every month done on my nails and have been for at least 6 years. I was new to the Brownsburg area and thought I would try it here. I went in and got the dip done.. a month later I get my dip taken off and half of my finger nail is infected!!! This has never happened to me before.. flash forward 6 weeks later and my nail has finally grown back out. I was telling my grandma about my experience and come to find out her toenail was infected.. last place she got a pedicure - Ivy Nails. Seems to be a trend.
