I came into this salon 5/22/24 to get a full set right at 8pm and had no nails on prior... I ended up paying $65 for duck feet nails that are terrible looking and absolute low quality service!! The nail tech didn't use a drill but once and also got up and walked away and never came back I was very nice the whole time and came back the next day and asked to get them fixed the open light is on door is open and allegedly nothing they can do to help or fix this horrendous mess they produced!! I'm absolutely appalled at their lack of skill and the guy walked away during service I paid 80! They would not fix them either and were very rude! Start off by saying I've previously left a positive review. I've been here many times and this is the first time I've had a truly awful experience. This guy I think is new because I haven't seen him before, but he rushed through my entire pedicure after making me wait almost an hour. Then, the gel pedicure was so poorly done it looked like a 3 year old had done it. I asked him to remove it and he was in such a hurry, he was drilling off my skin, and completely ruined my healthy nails in the process. This is what I was left with. I have always had good service and I feel they do a good job on nails and a great job on pedicures. Acrylics are solid and now I get dip as the nails seems to last a long time. I get the deluxe and the calf massage etc is worth the extra money. Went to Royal Spoil today. The Nail Tech that assisted me was very pleasant and professional. I was very happy with my nails. As I went to the counter to pay, a gentleman that worked there was very upset. He was yelling something. He kept walking from the back of the salon to the front of the salon, very disgruntled. I have no idea about what. The lady at the counter looked very scared. She told him to calm down. He then started throwing things. He then picked up a light, threw it, nearly hitting a customer getting a manicure. The lady at the counter told me he was crazy and apologized for his behavior. I quickly paid and left the salon. This type of behavior is never ok. This was unfair to the customers that were there and the staff. I hope this man learns some coping skills and apologizes to his colleagues for his behavior. read more

I brought my 15 year old here about a week ago to get acrylic nails put on. I wasn't paying attention, but as we walked out the door, I looked at my daughters nails and was pretty surprised to see the my were shooting STRAIGHT UP instead of straight out. I thought this was so strange and crazy looking. We went back inside and asked the lady who did her nails what happened and she explained this occurred because her natural nails are short. I was sort of mind boggled by that response and I told her as kindly as I could, the nails looked strange and are not supposed to be this way. Even her coworkers were coming over to look at the nails and were making faces at how crazy they looked. To her credit, she did offer to redo them but we had already waited almost 2 hours and my daughter had to be at work. We couldn't wait any longer so I asked for a refund so I could take her to another place to get them done at different time. The lady said that was not possible. I asked for half off-not possible. I told her since the nails go straight up, she's going to hurt herself but the lady just said 'she should be careful.' So we left. I took her to work, and went to a graduation party where I showed people the pictures of her nails and everyone thought it was hilarious so we laughed and moved on. But now this week, she put her hand straight down between some seats to grab her phone and since her nails go straight up instead of down, she ripped her ENTIRE real nail clean off. She's in a lot of pain and it looks to be infected. We have to take her to the doctor tomorrow but we're supposed to be on our way to Florida. I made an appointment for a gel pedicure and dip nail after being referred by a friend. After getting my pedicure they left me sitting in nail remover for over 30 minutes without anyone coming to check in on me. Two other people came to help me and then I was asked to get up and move stations. It seemed that they overbooked the stylist that was originally doing my pedicure. After changing stations, I asked for my nails to be trimmed down to my shortest nail and the person cut my nails too short. The manicure looks terrible and, my now too short nails, are all uneven. After only four days my pedicure is already chipping which shouldn't happen with gel. I've gone three weeks in between my appointments before (even with a trip to the beach) without any chipping. I'm not sure if they have new people working here but I will not be going back. read more

We were walk-ins at Royal Spoil, and had no idea to expect from this place in a strip mall. Luckily, we were delighted. The staff was friendly and welcoming, despite having a full shop and a somewhat long wait. The color options were extensive. The chairs for little girls are adorable! I've been going here for a year now and I absolutely love the work they do! I get gel acrylics with a coffin shape and I've always gotten great service. I work a lot with my hands for my job so my nails get banged around a lot but they never break! I get fill ins every 3 weeks and if it's a lighter color then every 2-2 1/2 weeks. I've also gotten a pedicure here and it was very relaxing and my feet looked fantastic! I think the price is reasonable and not too expensive especially since they, in my experience, are quicker than most places. One time my nail got jammed in a door and my real nail and fake broke down the middle. I had to come in and they removed the acrylic from the real nail so gently and professionally when it could have been a very painful experience. They just started doing the "dip" nails so I'll probably try that next! read more

The girl at the front desk was super sweet, definitely the only positive of the place. Was asked why I chose so many colors because I chose several different colors for each nail, and when asked what shape I wanted and I said round, the guy doing my nails said I will have an almond shape. The pictures below are my sisters mani and pedi, which she was charged $70 for. They cut her fingers (twice, only one is pictured) and the paint job on the toes and fingers was sloppy. They only did two coats of a sparkle polish which is why you can literally see through it. The service was sloppy, quick and they were not polite at all. The other friend who came along waited for two hours because they forgot about her, and they didn't even finish her nails, just walked away. She had to go back up and ask for the clear coat and oil that is supposed to go on gel polish. To say the least we will not return and were very unhappy with the service. read more

One of the mailed did my pedi, Not much chatter but I just wanted to relax anyway. Foot massage was decent but not bad (I haven't found a place with a really good foot massage in Greenwood). I had my nails dipped and a pedi done on Thursday evening. By the following Tuesday (while out of town for work), my pedi began chipping. By Wednesday my nails began chipping. I called first thing Thursday morning when I arrived home (a week after my $85 apt) and they were not willing to work with me at all. They said that it was probably my fault that the nails chipped - I was at a conference for a week!! I argued with the guy over the phone about standing behind his product and he said, "if we have you come in and re-do them, who is going to pay for the staff to do that?" I used to love going here, a little expensive, but they did a great job. I went today and witnessed a girl not sterilize the tools she was about to use on another customer. She went back towards where they are supposed to sterilize them and the. Looked around to see if anyone was watching and went back to the pedicure area and proceeded to use them on that customer. I did inform the customer, she asked and the employee admitted to it. The girl who did my nails said she's not licensed to do anything but "paint nails"... this is after she trimmed, used the drimel, and filed my nails. This was also before I witnessed them not sterilize there equipment. You can get really bad things from none sterilized equipment! It gets worse.... I went to the restroom and saw 3 cockroaches!!!! I immediately paid and left! Do not give your business to these people who knows what disease you may contract! read more

Staff was very nice. However, I paid $25 just for gel nails (not a manicure). The very next day I had one chip. In 10 days I had half of them chip at some point. I went back twice to have them fixed and they were nice about doing so. Not the cheapest salon around but they do a really great job. I get gel polish on natural nails. I don't know what they do differently but their mani actually grows out before it wears off or chips. I can go 3 full weeks between visits and the issue becomes that my nails have grown so much I need them redone, not that they are even in need of work! I am the mother of 3 who also works full time so these nails are really put to the test and hold up amazingly well. The facility is really nice, large, and well appointed. The rooms (yes they have two rooms full of pedicure chairs) for pedicures are nice and removed from the main store front. The staff is friendly and well trained. I have seen several of their technicians but Rosie is my favorite. Very funny and easy to talk to but also okay with me having a "quiet day" if I am not in a chatty mood. When I go without an appointment I have never had to wait too long and if I call ahead getting a same day appointment has never been an issue either. Having tried quite a few area salons I am confident that this is one of the best and the one that I will continue to frequent. read more
