the customer service was amazing. i was greeted and they remembered me from calling to schedule/check availability. i scheduled a gel pedi but got a gel mani too. i love that they actually create the french by hand. my pedi is fine by mani is already chipping and it was bubbling while i was there. i did mention it and alex said once the top coat was on it should be fine. i think the issue are the lamps being used. it doesn't seem like it's curing long enough and the cute overhead lamps dont typically emit enough power for the distance they're at. maybe it's not that but 11/25 was appointment day and by 11/26 it's not looking brand new. the inside is clean and looks nice. they are personable and move quickly but it's important to me that quality match too. read more

I have been her one other time and i loved it but this time was unfortunately not as good I got manicure and a pedicure the pedicure was great but the manicure was not good. The girl that did my nails is diamond she was so rude and even told me that I was the reason that everything was going wrong etc she didn't to what I wanted to my nails and kept changing them without asking ( I would of said yes) but that's not the point. I've been coming to this nail spa several times, and honestly, the experience with the new employees was horrible. The lady doing my nails had so much attitude. She was pushing and pulling my nails so aggressively that she was literally scrubbing/scratching my skin in the process. There was absolutely no gentleness or professionalism. What made it worse was how she treated my toddler. My child was simply sitting there watching my phone while waiting for her turn to get her toes done, and the way this woman acted toward her was completely unnecessary. She's a child. What exactly was the problem? ‍ And yes, I understood what was being said when they were talking about customers in Chinese. I was using a translator, and I heard what was being said. Please don't assume customers don't understand just because you're speaking another language. I've been here multiple times before, and the employees used to be friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, the new employees are giving this place a completely different reputation. The service was rushed, the cuticles weren't even properly done, and the attitude was unacceptable. The guy who did my toes, however, did a great job. I have absolutely no complaints about his work. I'm leaving this review because I genuinely believe businesses can do better. Treat your customers with respect, be gentle, do the job properly, and remember that the people sitting in your chairs are paying customers not an inconvenience. read more

I go to Diane because she is thorough with pedicures and gives a good strong foot massage. This is my favorite salon in Plainfield with reasonable and average prices. Just had a pedicure and mani yesterday by the older lady that works there. Although nice, she clipped way too much cuticles on my big toe and now it is very sore today and bled some. Another toe she did the same thing! I have had way better massages on my legs while getting a pedi. She just put some lotion on and moved her hands in motion but nothing much. As far as the mani, there was not much to be thrilled about either. Not all the cuticles were done correctly and not a very good polish job. She seemed to be more interested in looking out the door or correcting the other worker in there! I will say they are very clean but I think they are old fashioned as to what they offer in their personal services. I will not be going back. read more

I rarely write reviews, but was compelled to based on how bad my experience was. With only two employees, I was there close to two hours for a pedicure and gel mani despite only two other customers. I came to get a nail repair. The place was empty but some man with brown teeth was there. He was instantly annoyed when I walked in. Had the worst attitude when asking if I needed gel or regular. I asked how long the wait was since there was literally no workers inside. He yelled "DO YOU SEE ANY CUSTOMERS IN HERE?" I said "No but I see you have an attitude and I'd i don't see any workers" he said "JUST GO" and I told him I'd be leaving a bad review and he said he didn't care. After trying several places on this side of town, I stumbled into this place while running errands. The salon was so clean it was almost sterile. All equipment well maintained, the technicians very kind and involved with customer interaction. Prices are very reasonable and the result was beautiful. I will definitely return. read more

I am so disappointed with my gel manicure. I went in with a French tip and you can still see the white even with a color now. He soaked them, cut them, and polished them. That was it! No cuticle push back, trimming of dead skin etc but charged for a full mani. He was very short with me and got upset because I accidentally moved my hand and he shook his head. Not the type of person to leave reviews but this place is literally one of the most disrespectful places i have ever gone to. i went to get a full set and the man would just harshly pull my hand instead of communicating how he wanted me to be. also cut the side of my finger when doing the filing. my mother went the next day and it was her first time getting a full set done and he did the same thing to her. she also said that he asked her if the length was okay and she leaned forward because she couldn't see and he started questioning "why she needed to lean so far". she said he jerked her arm around and would tell her not to do certain things in a very harsh tone. i'm not trying to play the race card but my mom said that they did not treat their white costumers like this. she also said that a black woman went in and asked if they did walk ins and they said no only appointment but my mom was a walk in and it states on the door that they do accept walk in. first and last time i will ever be going there. read more

I've come to this salon on 3 seperate occasions and every time I come the owner tells me that they are not accepting walk-ins. There is clearly an issue here. Today I was told that there was a wedding party coming in so they weren't taking anyone. I am convinced that this is an issue of race. It is truly said to be denied service based upon prejudice.
