I was able to get an appointment quickly for the same day. The nail tech was friendly and professional. I chose a few color options and she helped me decide. The massage chairs are wonderful and they have wi-fi which is great. I brought my laptop and got some things done while I was here. They offered me a beverage and a choice of water, soda or wine. I had white wine while enjoying a little self care. I chose a gel pedicure, which was relaxing with the hot stones and massage. I will definitely be back soon. I tell the young lady what colors I want and how I wanted them she proceeds to tell me that that does not look good. I asked for a soak off for my nails. She took another nail and popped them off instead of soaking them off, I will be going back to Mooresvill to get my nails done by Angel nails were 90% of their workers came from and obviously it's the ones that didn't make the qualifications that's why they're working there. You probably should get new machines for your gel polish because the black shit bubble up and water get underneath it and be able to pull off. You're lucky I didn't come in there raising hell . I saw someone in speedway with nails from here done in the 500 designs. I said I had to have that and made an appointment for a mani pedi. Arrived and I get it Saturday and the place was crowded. Waited 40 minutes. And they insisted on starting with the manicure normally they should start with a pedicure and they were open chairs so I don't know why. Then I waited some more. The girl was sweet but then she wanted to do nail extensions and brought out the Dremel. I said this is not what I wanted I have very thin nails. Then she said she couldn't do it and I said fine just give me a regular manicure. It's been a very tough week and I started crying I kept telling the girl it wasn't about her well the owner came over started yelling me and I said was fine I just want my manicure and she asked me to leave. I was not making a scene I wasn't doing anything I was just crying because everything's just been so wrong in my life and I was looking forward to having some fancy designs to make me happy. read more

My husband, MIL, and I walked in on a busy day around the holidays for pedicures. We expected to wait and were fine with that, as we were in no rush. The staff had our pedicures done in an a little over an hour after arriving, which was much earlier than expected so we stayed and got manicures as well. I got my nails done by the blonde girl that works there. She was rushing because it was 2:30 and she had to pick her daughter up in Brownsburg at 3. My nails are very lumpy, one had a bubble underneath it and I told them so they put another coat on over it. The next day that bubble chipped off. I asked for coffin nails and she didn't use coffin tips... she used the regular ones and cut them to try and shape them like coffin nails. None of them are even and most don't look like coffin nails at all. I had them paint my toenails too and was charged $23 for that. So I paid $85 for the worst set of nails I've ever had. I wish I could add a picture to this to show you how awful they really look! Don't waste your money on this place! read more

I had been looking for a nail place that had chairs for kids and I came across their Facebook page and saw they did so I called this morning asking for a pedicure appointment and they were able to get me and my two girls in right away. I am beginning to think there isn't a nail salon that will meet my expectations in Plainfield. Lets start with this, my expectations aren't exceptionally high. I want to be able to express my ideas to the manicurist, I don't want to be sliced by a file and when I say I don't like something fix it, before its too late. I went in to get a full set, asked for a pink and white set. Showed them a picture of the ratio of pink to white I wanted and watched closely as she was applying the acrylic. After her first application, I advised that the white was too thick, she acted like she was going to fix it then didn't. She said it would look better once she filed....she then proceeded to slice my finger with her file, "oh sorry tee hee" was her response and she continued to give me the nails I didn't want. Unfortunately I had a HORRIBLE service and im VERY UNHAPPY with my over all service. Im not the type to write reviews so for anyone reading please reconsider when thinking about getting your nails done here. First i came in for a pedicure and a full set. I had no problem waiting but when my manicurist came to start my pedicure the water was luke warm to almost cold... i told him he can heat it up and continued to not... I decided to go with the "King and Queen pedicure" for $55 it was rushed, he didnt give me a foot massage and actually ended up rubbing exfoliate on my dry skin mistaking it for lotion... very painful and horrible pedicure for almost 60 dollars. THEN i got a full set by the same manicurist and a few days prior i hurt my finger and asked him if he could be a bit carful with that finger. He said okay forsure. I wanted a french tip with almond shape. Not hard at all i showed him the picture and he looked at it once and continued to do his thing. The shape was fine but he over filed my nails! And hurt my finger more than it already was when I mentioned to him that it hurt and pulled my hand away he scoffed at me and told me to "grow up, and watch the TV" ....... Who the fuck says that to some one in pain and when i told him that its actually hurting and I dont want to bleed he was extremely condescending and rude. He over filed my thumb and its CROOKED asf when he finished and was about to apply the nail polish i asked him to fix the crooked nail. He proceeded to TURN MY NAIL AROUND FOR ME LIKE IT WAS STRAIGHT I said yeah its a but crooked he told me to stop and that he wasnt done yet. It was over an hour for my nails and he was rude, rushed my service and was horribe overall. It's unfortunate because I like the owners wife i think she has great customer service and listens to her guest and fulfills their needs. But i wont be coming back and i will tell other to not come to Henry's Nails. Super disappointed in the service and the way I was treated and paid over 130 dollars for my service. You guys need todo better. And tbh If i could I would get my money back. My boyfriend did this for an anniversary present and im just so so so sad about how everything turned out. read more

She asked another girl to do the design that slopped it together and smeared the polish on one of the toes. I won't be back. I give them 3 stars just because the experience. They have a very well-kept salon. It is pretty relaxing. A an older man did my pedicure and he did an AMAZING JOB! He took his time and was cautious ... you could tell that he cared about doing a good job. The guy that is listed on the reviews did TERRIBLE. Someone already took a picture of him. He did my nails and he rushed ! He got mad because i was laughing to my friend. I would understand if I was moving when i laughed , but I wasn't! I kept trying to make conversation with him and he wasn't being kind. As a spa worker I expect friendliness and communication. He had the worst attitude ever! He didn't clean up my nails and they are bulky. He put to much powder and didn't smooth it out. He was rushing , and I asked him to fix my nails and he got an attitude. My nails weren't dry and he was rushing me to pay. My total was 50 dollars. I tipped so my total ended up being 66, and I asked the guy to give the older man half, and he said "yeah whatever". We visit Plainfield twice a year, and usually have a pedicure each time. This was our second trip to the renamed Henry Nails, and it was just as poor an experience as the first. Firstly, NO ONE was anywhere near pleasant. The two children in our group were taken first, given very cursory pedicures, and charged the same amount as the adults. My daughter and I sat in bubbling water long enough that the water got cold. A young man did my pedicure, and he NEVER looked at me or addressed me, asked me a question. I had to ask him to trim my toenails....on each foot, but he only did one foot. The polish is blotchy and not professional looking. The polish doesn't cover the entire nail. The nails aren't shaped similarly, and just don't look nice. Finally, after we were done, they made it clear that we were in the way and to move over to the drying Station. I had to pick up my stuff and my daughter's stuff, and clearly I wasn't doing it quickly enough, because I got a head shake from him. I'm afraid this vIsit will be our last.
