The lady cut my toes and shape all the way down. There were dogs in the back barking like crazy. Then one come out sniffing the customers. Then another one comes out and they start growling and fighting. I have brush lines on my toes. My feet look a mess $33 later. read more

I was told to pay 85 dollars for the worse nails I've ever had done. I showed a picture and the design she was trying to do was nothing close to the picture so I said to just do the color instead. She charged me the price, and what I supposed to do? Cause a scene about the price? I called as I was leaving since I had to be at work, and they were like "what didn't you like about them?" Everything. I would have walked away as a loss if it was 40 dollars. But 85?!!!!! The nails are so thick my fingers are hurting and they're not even straight edged and clumped up. This is the worst. I use to come periodically but just started back and I am not satisfied. I didn't get my nails like I really wanted them all the the way the owner and geo use to do my nails . Very upset not done and I'm not impressed with how my nails and feet look . If I come back it will be with appointment for only the owner or geo. Terrible! I live in Texas and I was in town visiting. I went to the salon to get my nails done and it took them 25 minutes just to get the powder dip off my nails! The price was higher than I've ever paid and with my tip it was 54.00! If I had known it wasn't going to last I wouldn't have left a tip! The cost of the manicure was 45 then because I used a cc they charged me an additional 1.50! Don't go there unless you want to be overcharged and have a manicure that won't last! My Nails has the best combination of price and quality out of all of the nail salons I have tried in Indianapolis. I've been coming to My Nails for the past 5 years, during which time the prices have not gone up like other places. I started here getting my nails done consistently once or twice a month, but have since moved further away and now only get them done for special occasions. You definitely need to make an appointment if you want to get in. They used to have availability for walk-ins, but have been booked fairly solid the last few times I've gone. The nail techs, Gio and Quinn, are both very nice and remember you every visit, even if it's been many months since you've last visited. They have even kept the shop open late when I was delayed for my appointment because of traffic. They are very accommodating to their regulars. The only downsides are lack of a website and online scheduling capability. Appointments can be made only by calling. The nail techs frequently take calls during their appointments, which could be cut down quite a bit if they had an online appointment requesting system. Also, they have a small dog that is sometimes in the shop with them. The dog is old and just sits around, but just an fyi if you have an allergy to dogs. As far as payment, cash is preferred, but credit cards are accepted. They prefer cash so they don't have to pay the transaction fees on credit cards, so I take cash when I visit now. Personal checks are not generally accepted, unless you are a regular. read more

If you like your nails a certain way I wouldn't go here!! I visited this location after being referred by a girl that i work with. Turned out to be a bad idea . I wanted a full set and pedicure (the pedicure was ok but i couldn't enjoy it because the nail tech thought it was a good idea to do my nails at the same time. So i had to sit in a semi awkward position and hold the gel nail dryer in my lap. I specifically told the guy Mike i wanted French tip coffin shape and that i wanted my nails to be straight not curved. I went for the first time after my sister recommended it and I wished I had visited them sooner. I got a gel mani and pedi early September and they both lasted longer than I expected. Let's just say my toes are still pink with gel and are just now due for a polish change. Side note: The staff at my nails is so personable. The massage chair is so comfy. I went there today. This was my first time there. The lady that did my feet is the worst person who has ever done my feet. I get my feet done once a month normally. I have not gotten my feet done since the end of July. the pedicure was $55. With no explanation on what comes with that. With tip I paid almost $70 for just a pedicure and did not get hardly anything done to my feet. I will never ever go back to that nail place. My first experience was great! My friends and I walked in during a busy time of the day (noonish) and there was 4 people in front of me in line. I only waited about 20-25 minutes before Mike took me in his chair. He did such a quick job with my nails, but it was not a bad job at all!! I got a full set done for $25 plus a tip. Mike was one of the best nail techs I've ever had! They treat their regulars very well here and prefer that you call to make an appointment but walk ins are welcome. The salon was very clean and well kept, but I would probably have more staff that were there to keep people from potentially waiting so long. I first stumbled upon this place just this year to get a pedicure and was very impressed by the strong feeling of community here. I had great conversation with the couple sitting next to me as well as all of the employees. I've since been back in for pedicures, nails and a few massages by and am impressed by how friendly they all are. They take pride in their work and I look forward to going. I have never left a nail salon before- until this place. There is a reason it wasn't on yelp as it doesn't deserve to be. They brought me in and put me into a spa pedicure chair that has been haphazardly painted (wtf). As I'm sitting and soaking I realize there are at least 7 people ahead of me for two women. They also take any waxing that walks in. Each had at least two people in nails going at once and then would get up and wax. Fine I think-this will take some time. I asked to pick out a color and was handed a basket of poorly painted cards - if you can't paint a inanimate target with a steady hand, what are you going to do with my nails?! While I was waiting patiently I began to look around - at the pumice stones and brushes laid out at each station that looked like a science experiment and realized this was no place for me. Needless to say I left, wet feet and all and didn't look back. I work in healthcare and have no doubt this place contributes to that angry, red, infected cuticle look of a dirty salon. read more
