The salon itself is beautifully decorated, clean, and spacious. You do not feel crammed in and lots of chairs for - both nails and pedicures. In the 4+ times I've been here so far I have no complaints and all the techs have done a great job. Todays nails are a simple French ombré done by Anna. She said it was her first time doing ombré and she did a GREAT job. They run a great nail salon and would recommend them to anyone looking for a new spot or first timers! They were able to take appointments for quite a way out, as well as booking appointments for soonish; I booked a pedicure with Tim right before my trip abroad, giving myself maximum time to grow out the ingrowns the last place gave me. Big place, with lots of stations and lots of professionals. Clean, light and airy. The massage chair pedicure stations faced a large flatscreen tv showing the Olympic Games. Nice! Tim didn't give me much time to soak, but was very careful not to cut my nails too short, and not to file them too much in the corners. My podiatrist would approve. Didn't take off enough callus on the ends of my pinkie toes, but that's a hard area to reach. Massage of the feet and calves with lotion was relatively brief, but used a nice lotion that didn't reek of artificial scent, like the last place. Did a beautiful job painting my nails. Fast, efficient, professional, and no pain. I was happy. Afterward, relaxed by the good experience, I asked about a manicure, and ended up seeing Tim's colleague Linh, who was awesome. She told me about gel builder, to armor my weak and brittle nails without damaging them, and I signed up. We left my short nails the color the gel builder comes in -- a nice, natural pink. Maybe now I'll actually be able to grow them out past my fingertips, without them snagging and tearing! I love how strong and smooth they are now, which is helpful in making jewelry! I booked a follow up for a month from now. I look forward to trying out more of their services!

As it happens, they double booked and then refused her service as they had already started the person who arrived after her. Heather just chuckled and did not offer to fix the problem. My nails looked better BEFORE I got them done here and I spent $60 on a fill-in after tip! I went in with perfectly square straight nails, slightly rounded corners, and they look AWFUL now! Several are crooked. Sides are filed too narrow. Some are square, others square-round. She was too fast & the acrylic is too thin in places & edges starting to chip in less than 24 hrs. A cpl nails look ok but No 2 nails look the same. Now I need to soak off & get a new set, 1 day later! Not happy!

I asked the nail tech to cut my toenails short...then during the pedicure I had to ask 3 more times to cut them shorter and that they were not cut straight. I decided that I would ask the lady sitting next to me how she felt about the music, she said she wasn't paying attention BUT, the owner, who was doing that lady's pedicure, said she didn't like the music either!! WHAT!? Proceeded to get my manicure and the same pedicure nail tech, cut my fingernails to the length I requested...great! Then she pulled out the nail tip box...wait...that's not what I wanted and explained that I only wanted gel polish. The owner heard me and came over and proceeded to explain the process and differences in the service. I repeated multiple times that all I wanted was to get my nails painted with gel polish. She continued to explain...it totally stressed me out and I let the nail tech know that I wasn't finishing the fingernails and wanted to pay and leave! Again, I had been going there for YEARS, but terrible experience this time, felt pressured to upgrade the service and this was totally not what I expected!
