I usually prefer female nail techs, but Ryan is very detail-oriented and a perfectionist, which I love because I have a mild OCD and can't stand looking at imperfections on my nails lol.. I used to love this place when Michelle was there, but since the ownership changed and a new team came in, the experience hasn't been the same for me. I've been getting acrylic sets here consistently, but the new tech has been doing gel fills instead, even though I've asked clearly for acrylic. On my most recent visit, I requested a clear full set since my previous white tips had grown out too far from my nail bed. Instead, she only added a clear tip to my broken pinky, didn't trim the rest of my nails, and once again did a gel fill. To be fair, she was very kind and professional in her manner, but there's clearly a communication issue. I don't think she fully understood me, and I don't think I should have to explain a "clear full set" more than once. That's a very basic request. Less than 24 hours later, and just from folding laundry, three nails broke. As a licensed cosmetologist myself, I know what to expect from a proper set, and unfortunately, this wasn't it. The tech was very kind, but unfortunately the service didn't hold up at all, and I broke three nails in less than a day. I'll be giving them a chance to fix it and I will update the review accordingly I don't want to say that I won't be back but it's looking that way depending on how today goes. UPDATE!! I went in and I had them take off the remaining nails and just go ahead and do the full all clear set like I wanted the first time. I'm pretty satisfied with what I received today they only charged me $10. read more

This is a tough review to make as this place has been around for ages. I went yesterday with my mom and she LOVED her pedicure. As for me, my nails and experience wasn't my favorite. Overall, the nails aren't bad. I just have one nail that is extremely crooked and isn't put all the way back, so will grow quickly compared to others. My nail tech was rough and didn't really prep the nails before putting on the acrylic. I felt rushed and didn't really get to enjoy the feeling you get when you pamper yourself. read more

Great salon. Clean. Pre-packaged tools. Friendly staff. I came here to get a pedicure before a vacation in Sept and have been back again since then. THIS PLACE HAS THE BEST PEDICURES IVE EVER HAD. They have a sheet that outlines about 5 or 6 different pedicure "packages" that include different things. Each time I've got the #5 I believe, the one with the paraffin wax. They might be $5-$10 dollars more to have all the bells and whistles, but they last SO much longer and is so worth it. THEY SERVE WINE AND OFFER A FREE DRINK WHEN YOU CHECK IN ON YELP! I currently do my nails myself, but I know they offer everything -- normal polish, gel, powder, etc. have a wall FULL of different colors for each option. Tons of selection. UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT! My friend and I stopped in here after we saw a sign for 25% off and Under New Management. We both chose the Deluxe Pedicures...best decision ever! My experience was amazing! We were greeting with wine when we walked in. Came in on a Friday night and it was not crowded at all. We were seated right away with no wait. The service was excellent! There is one make that if fabulous on pedicures (Orlando). I've been here now about 7 times. The experience I had one day was when I was getting g a full acrylic set and the woman doing my nails had her phone on speaker a good 30 minutes with the other person on the line yanking loudly. When I went back to get the fill my nails are uneven and crooked. I had one other time I was also unhappy and this was the owner herself. She was very rushed and not friendly. If there was an option to give 0 starts i absolutely would. Today i went in for a walk in full set w/ Gel Polish, the ladies were sweet. The lady doing my nails first cut them terribly short after i stating i wanted them to be long. Then, they ruined my nails and absolutely botched them. I'm talking bumpy, un-even, terrible nails, they charged me 10$ extra for length & 5$ extra for the colors which is understandable if done right. i've never seen nails so bad. they argued with me when i asked for my money back and tried cutting my nails off after just putting them on. NEVER returning here and you should never go. i've never experienced something so bad. read more

Okay, I just wanted to write the review I wish I had seen before going. All in all everyone was nice and friendly, I don't necessarily hate my nails, I just don't like them. I'm not the type of person to complain, so I'm keeping them on until they wear off. My pedicure is so good however. (Not pictured) they are all in all lumpy and not very even. I have been searching Indy for a good place to get my nails done again but every place so far has been meh. I get dip/SNS but they weren't lasting more than ten days. I got them done here and I've had them last three weeks with no chips at all!! Obviously they're grown out but they still look good. I'm very impressed and will for sure be coming back. read more

The other reviews are about right I Got a nail fungus ; my daughter got a black mold in her foot. We have never had anything like that happen before. I'm afraid now bc they used cuticle nippers on me and if the other implements weren't clean those can really spread some serious things (hep/hiv to name a few) so I'm freaked.... Also the nail techs did not seem interested in doing my nails. When I asked their prices bc they weren't clearly displayed they were weird about answering and even making proper eye contact Seemed upset an actual client came in And they didn't even tell me the correct package prices until I was half way through my pedicure Then they kind of told me what was available at different price points but not really.... Just a poor experience all around It's a beautiful location They just need some good workers who are interested in cleaning and working. This place should be packed. But it is what it is ... When the Chinese owned it across the street they generally had good service. Kept it clean They needed more workers and would have long waits bc there weren't enough workers (the old owners that is) Since the change over. I scheduled an appointment for a gel manicure and pedicure. While getting my pedicure, four ladies walked in wanting pedicures and basically a hot mess ensued. The pedicure was rushed, cuticle oil was not placed nor were my cuticles pushed back. I have gotten my nails done for 15 years, this is always included in a basic pedicure. As my gel manicure was started one of the male workers began rushing the lady doing my nails as the women who had walked in had been sitting in the pedicure chairs for at least 20 minutes without help. He continued to rush the lady doing my nails and then took over. I had asked for a fairly easy design to which he attempted to use different colors. It took me questioning why I could not use the colors I had picked out and asking if he had a design brush to get what I was going to pay for. He rushed through the design, constantly looking over at the ladies waiting for pedicures, not even looking at what he was doing. It was more important to pack as many customers in than to provide quality work. I spent 100 dollars on trash. I will never go back and would caution people from spending their money at this salon. read more

Went in for full set. Waited about 25 mins. Received my nails I wanted but in the process the nail tech cut my finger and never apologized or checked it. Don't waste your time. They don't honor appointments. I scheduled an appt at 10 a.m. and waited 30 mins before walking out without nails done. There were only two technicians in, and four customers in the store, and they took women without appts first. I had to ask when I would be seen and they told me they didn't know and that no one else would be coming in to see other customers despite me booking an appt. Horrible customer service. read more

So I've been on the hunt for a new nail salon. I thought I had found it but maybe I'm wrong!! I went here on my lunch to get a pedicure. It was decent. The chairs are older so not great at the massage part. Got a new set and the nail tech did great. I was really happy with it. It seems there is one tech for pedis and one for manis....on return visits I've been told the wait was going to be 25-30 minutes. Which ok fine maybe if not on a lunch hour. I go back after work and I'm asked why I don't have an appointment. The window says walk ins welcome. Maybe they need to consider hiring more help or cross training the girl who does the pedis to do the hands too.....you can't retain a business with always running your customers off. I might be back but would need to make an appointment and sometimes I don't know when I'm going to want to get all of this done. I'll find somewhere else.... read more
