Sam's is clean, bright, has tons of colors to choose from and the staff is always friendly and professional! I will definitely be back!

Overall, I'd give Sam's Nails a 3.5. I had high hopes for this nail salon when it opened a couple years ago, but every time I visit they only seem to be ok. Sam's has never seem to wow me with their work. When it comes to convenience, I love where the location is. It would get a 5 star for that alone. The facility is always clean and I never worry about my safety as far as getting as infection or anything like that. Unlike some other places. I'm originally from the East Coast and when we get our nails done, we like pizazz. I enjoy fun and eclectic styles and patterns. And it seems like here in the Midwest, that's not something people look for regularly. So when I saw Sam's advertising on social media and even with their signage, I thought this void would finally be filled. They displayed fun designs and creative artwork, but I find that 1) not everyone can complete the creative nail art I look for. 2) they literally CHARGE for ev-ver-ry thing! If you want nails files shaped to anything but square, +$5-10. If you want French +5-10. I know it's common, but $10 is a bit much (IMO). 3)they just don't perform to my level of expectation. I am someone who loves designs. I've normally gone to people outside of shops, but lately I've been wanting a more seamless process. When my mom told me about Sam's I went to their facebook & their photos gave me the confidence to go here. I went in for a full set & pedicure! We scheduled an appointment for 12 we got there about 5min is early and they began to service us right at our appointment time! I love my shape & the overall look! My nails were done by Chaney (apologies if spelled wrong). I really loved her technique in shaping and she took her time on this stunning set! I gave a 4 star due to my experience with my pedicure. I received service from someone who was new and still learning. I didn't mind being the person who allowed her to get a more hands on experience. I learned that she missed 1-2 things that were included in my pedicure package. I'm fine but maybe would suggest someone sitting with her while she works. I could tell that she was nervous. I've been there before. Confidence is key. When you don't know you just do with confidence and it makes up for any mistakes! I do hope that she gets better. First time visit to Sam's today. My mom is a regular and treated me and my daughter to a day at the nail salon. I had GD do my full set and had a pedicure while he was working on the nails. I started going to Dam's 3 years ago, the did good work but for about the last 6 months they don't do the same work charged me over 100. Dollars for the same thing I always get done that would have cost about 68.00. Sam acted like I was wrong she gona say a tip & design the dame thing I've always got done cause the girl made a mistake when you refuse to justify it. All I can say is this is one customer that will never be back last set didn't do overlay my nails all chipped up. I am a very honest person would treat a dog better, when Sam takes off they do anything & she justifys it. read more

Great experience. Didn't know it was appointment only but they were still able to fit me in. Andy took EXCELLENT care of my nails, more attention to detail than i've ever seen at other salons. The young lady who did my pedicure was wonderful as well. I'd come back just to sit in those massage chairs again!! Prices were average, no complaints there. Overall very accommodating and friendly. Do not go to Sam's nails unless you like to waste your time. This is the second time that Sam has played in my face. I specifically called to see if they could do Gel-Ex nails with a heart shaped cat eye. She said yes and to come at 3:30. I arrived at 3:20 and she sat me in the chair at 3:30, how we she did not start my nails until 3:50. She was sitting there taking, and arguing with customers. This should have been my cue to leave. I decided to be patient. When she started my nails she tried to apply tips that were not Gel-X and got mad because I asked her to use the Gel-X tips. After applying the correct tips, she struggled with the design and was unable to make the heart shaped cat eye. She then said she didn't know why it wasn't working on my nails when it worked for everyone else before me. She then told me to pick a different color and a simple design. I showed multiple designs and she said no because they were too complicated. She then rudely told me to go pick another color. I walked over to do so and one of her workers came behind me and told me that Sam said she will not be doing my nails and I needed to leave. I asked what I was supposed to do given that my nails were not even polished and she shrugged and repeated that I needed to leave. I will not be back. I would rather be nail less than to deal with Sam's unprofessionalism, racism, and hostility. read more

I stumbled upon Sam's thanks to my doctor's office. I have a lot of feet pain and have for years. After years of suffering, and my doctors office telling me to "go see Sam, go see Sam", I did and boy am I happy I did! I took the leap of faith and visited Sam's for the first time in September. I just couldn't take the pain anymore so afte my doctors appointment I asked if they could accommodate a walk-in pedi and explained who referred me and about my pains. I spoke to Sam upon entering and she seemed so nice, funny and sincerely empathetic and she just listened. She explained all the options and ushered me to a pedicure station and handed me a beautiful menu with all their services. The salon is pristine btw! Super clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable. The salon was so nice and comfortable that anxiety or not, I needed the works! They were busy and I assured Sam it's okay if they didn't have time but would I be able to get a dip manicure too and she said yes, yes, I want you to feel good and we will make it work. I had the best massage with my pedicure and it was not rushed at all and my nails turned out amazing! I never understood how people kept their nails on for 4 weeks plus and now I know, (I had surgery and wasn't physically able to get back in), it's because they went to a great salon! I regret not taking more pictures the last few times I've been but I will next time and post them. Sam's nail art is beyond amazing and it is truly art. They offer other services like eyebrows and so much more. Oh and my feet? I walked out with so much pain relief and relaxed for once. I literally teared up! Another thing I really found awesome was the warm soak to get my existing gel mani off. It was so much more soothing and prevented my natural nail from being damaged from removal.
