I am trying local nail salons to find which one I like best. I will give Luxury Nails 3/5 stars. I asked for a basic manicure and a gel pedicure. The total was $71. My biggest gripe is that my nails were just painted. Is that what a basic manicure consists of these days? I assumed my cuticles would be pushed back, any hangnails treated, cuticle oil, etc. I received none of that here. I could have just painted my nails at home ‍ I went with the basic pedicure which is just that.. basic. It seems like it is mostly based on giving the legs a massage but I would've rather had my feet cleaned up. Only a few days later and my feet are rough again. Customer service was fine. A little disappointed here. I will keep looking. read more

Been going here for months. First experience was terrific with Ken. Most of the techs do a good job. Lyly is kind and does a great job. Tracy is kind, but she is not as skilled as everyone else. We kept coming back because it was a decent experience as long as Jenny, LyLy, Ken or Andy was around. Andy usually has an attitude but we've never felt disrespected. Today things felt different. We had an appointment for a pedi and a fill and requested Andy and Jenny. Andy was available but he snubbed me. He ignored me while speaking Vietnamese and proceeded to give another customer a pedicure instead of me. Jenny tried to apologize, but i don't want to give my business to anyone who would so blatantly disrespect me by not even acknowledging my presence. I felt racially profiled and it did not feel good. read more

They always do a great job. I went around noon on a Tuesday and was sat immediately. Sometimes there is a wait, but nothing terrible, but I usually go during week days. I got dip powder nails (085) got exactly what i wanted and they were applied BEAUTIFULLY and swiftly! :) read more

I had a great experience at Luxury Nails! I went in with two of my sisters, my toddler niece, and my mom. They did a wonderful job with pedicures on each of us and painted my niece's toenails. I've been going to luxury nails for over 5 years and I absolutely love it. I've gotten so many of my friends and coworkers to start getting serviced here. Typically Ken does my nails and he kills it every time. It's affordable and worth the money. I've had most of the staff members service me for a pedicure and they all do a great job. Excellent classic pedicure from Luxury Nails. The tech who helped me was friendly, fast, and did a great job with the foot massage- my favorite part! The salon itself was clean and the massage chairs were in great condition. They had about 6 staff working on a Saturday afternoon and there were 8-10 guests during the whole time I was there so, full but not packed. I think I waited less than 10min to be seated. read more

I had the boss tracy and she did a terrible job. All i got was a fill in on my acrylic nails and it costed just as much as my full set there with a different lady. My full sets there usually take about and hour and fills take about 40... she took an hour and 40 minutes to do a fill in on my nails. She cut me 3 times leaving me bleeding once. She left nail polish all over my hands. My thumb nail is crooked. She was chipping at my previous acrylic nails before adding more acrylic on messing my nail beds up. First time getting my nails done since moving to Indiana. I chose this place because it was the only one I found that opens on Sundays. The place looked clean and wasn't busy at all. They had a wide variety of colors. The pedicure chairs were comfortable and well maintained. I got a gel mani and classic pedicure. The nail technicians were friendly but the one that did my nails was just a little rough and made the cuticle on my thumb bleed a little but other than that, I have nothing negative to say about this place. My friend and I called ahead to see if they had availability for two pedicures. After confirmation that we would be able to walk in with no wait, we waited for 45 minutes before going back to the chairs. They had shower caddies full of tools and I am unsure whether they were cleaned or not beforehand (they were not in a bag or on a tray, just jumbled in the caddy as they went from person to person). We told them we did not want gel polish and they confirmed that our choice was a normal polish. After a sloppy paint job, we saw that they used a gel polish and just didn't cure it. Called to ask if they could redo but they stated it was busy and they could only get me in at 2 or 3 .. but I was unable to make that time. I'm giving them a two because some of the nail artist are good. But my experience today was trash. I paid for a pedicure that was supposed to be 55 and was charged 70. I'm thinking he thought I wasn't gonna tip him which is why he did a shitty job. I tip excellent.!!!!!!! But I only tipped him 20 today. It was less than a mediocre foot rub. Then the picture can explain itself no one wants nails that don't match and lines that aren't the same size. I will never be back here the only reason I went is because it's right next to where I get my eyelashes done.I don't know if he thought just because I was young I wasn't gonna tip or something but honestly trash someone should be watching them and telling them wtf is that. $70 down the drain just to have someone else redo them. I had to ask him to cut my toe nails even and correct. He was just gonna leave them like that. read more

2nd time visiting the salon and once again it was a let down. I tried a few weeks after they opened and my gel Manicure came off after 3 days. Unfortunately the same thing is happening. My gel manicure was less than 30minutes, my nails weren't filed evenly, polish is see through, cuticles weren't pushed back, and 3 nails have already chipped. I got them done Saturday afternoon about 1:30. Very unorganized when you walk in. It's a beautiful looking salon and I wanted to like it but after two failed attempts I won't be going back. read more

I had an amazing experience here! After a long week of yard work and activities that left my nails broken and chipped, Brian got me back together. I did sit a few minutes waiting on someone to start the water for my pedi, but it was worth the wait as well. Even though it was busy, he still managed only my needs and I wasn't passed off to several technicians. I will definitely be back on a not so busy day. read more

This is my favorite place to go for a dip manicure! They do a phenomenal job and my dip usually lasts for 3+ weeks. They do get rather busy, so I do recommend booking an appointment. The staff is friendly and helpful when you come in and just show them a picture and say, "this is what I want!" read more

I have been going here for about 3 or more years now and I love it, I recently moved to Avon and am still a consistent client because it's worth the drive to go to people I trust. I mainly go to Yolanda who has been doing nails for over 20 years I believe, and I go to her to get my eyebrows waxed as well. She is amazing! Ken is absolutely fantastic as well, although he is almost always booked up so I've only had him a few times. However I really wanted to write a review for the owner Tracy! I had her do my nails tonight as everyone was booked and the place was BUSY. Tracy managed to handle a few rude customers all while doing an amazing job on my nails. She was very sweet and apologized for having to get up at all to talk to the customers who were having a problem and then followed up my nails with lotion and a hand massage which I've never had done before (and really added to the experience!) Clean, lots of pedicure seats and manicure desks, more color options than I've ever seen elsewhere. Ive done pedicures and dip pI've had Brian, Lee, Christina, and Hannah so far. I highly recommend Lee for dip powder nails, and Christina or Hannah for pedicures. I went to my normal nail place and it was packed with a two hour wait time. So I've ventured down Emerson and right past the marketplace Kroger there's a new place called Luxury Nails that was not there before. I decided to stop in this place and come to find out, it has only been open for two months. it's gorgeous inside and they are extremely responsive - greeting you every moment that you walk in the door. I got a basic manicure no polish no gel manicure nothing, just the cleaning and nail shaping. In my opinion, that was quite expensive. Actually it wasn't expensive it was just more than what I was used to paying for a basic manicure. most likely this price is typically including polish but it was $15, normally I pay between $7 and $10 so this is more than I expected but the service is great and my nails look extremely healthy. What was encouraging was that I saw these three big burly guys walked in the door while I was getting my manicure and they were coming to get a Mani Pedi. It just warms my heart to see that and it shows me that they have been making some type of impression in the community, so definitely go and check them out! read more

Be careful if you go here as they will not fully explain the charges for services until you are ready to pay. They will also try to charge you for things that they did not do. They tried to charge me $135 for my daughter to get a pedicure with acrylics. Additionally, they tried to charge me for cutting my nails when all that I received was a fill. Be cautious. read more

I was iffy about being seen by someone other than the owner, as most of the reviews applauded her professionalism, however, Laura delivered as well. The consultation was informative in a way that mattered- not in a "too much information to remember" kind of way. Following the visit, Laura had time to get started on my removal journey, and her patience as I nervously chattered and then requested a break, was outstanding. She offered a great package deal that helped make my service much more affordable, and overall, I give the entire experience a 10/10.

I am a V on the Fitzpatrick scale. I called a week prior to my appointment to express my concerns and actually had the opportunity to speak witht the owner. She assured me I'd be well taken care of and that they've turned people away that they didn't think they'd get results from. So that made me feel a lot better. Upon my arrival, there were clip boards with ceramic name plates so you knew which one was yours. I personally thought that was a cute touch. I was greeted immediately and was offered something to drink. They had waters, coffee, and sodas. I had several papers to fill out due to it being my first time. After completeing all my paper work, the owner came out and actually spoke to me and asked if I was who she talked to. She told me Jamie would be the the one to do my procedure, and again ensured me that I would be in good hands. Visually, this place is appealing to the eye. Their decor was amazing. They had a candle out with a sign saying which scent was being burnt. This place does all kind of things such as facials and massages. During my consultation, Jamie explained to me how the laser worked in great detail and had lots of visual aids. She also showed me before, during, and after photos of people that had gone through the tattoo removal process. She also included some of people of color. She legit answered every question I had and was very patient. Initially I did not plan to have it done that day and was only going for the consultation, but she made me feel very at ease about doing it. SO I DID IT!!! The laser part took literally less than 5 minutes. She also allowed me breaks whenever I asked for them or would break when she could see my body getting tight. Hope to leave another positive review after the process is completed.

It's very aesthetic, clean, and the lighting is dim which makes the whole experience very relaxing. The chair I sat in during my service was super comfy and I even fell asleep because I was so comfortable lol. I saw Alex for a lash lift/tint + brow wax and I can't recommend her enough! The entire appointment took ~1.5 hours and she came out to get me right on the dot. Alex has a very chill, laid back personality which made it easy for me to sit back and relax during the appointment. You can tell she has great attention to detail and you can trust her to do a wonderful job. I love the way my lashes and brows turned out and she made sure to take my own preferences into account. They also play really great hip hop/r&b/pop music which I enjoyed! Lastly, despite being in downtown, it wasn't hard to find street parking at all. I paid $3.85 at the meter for 2 hours, but there's also a parking garage across the street for $8/hr.

A very unique place. The Babe Cave is located downtown across the street from Nada. I didn't see any signage outside, but they're doors are black with gold handles. You go inside, straight to the elevator, then up to floor 4. I didn't have any issues finding the building or parking; as there are a couple parking garages in the area and also street parking available. Besides lash lifts/tint, they also offer lash extensions, waxing, eyebrow lamination/tint, and teeth whitening:-)
