My mom and I went to Obsession Nails Spa for Gel pedicures. The staff were very friendly and the massage was relaxing, but both of our pedicures turned out terrible. I would rather be told, "Sorry, we can't do a design," than to walk away with my toes looking like this, $51 (plus tip) later, for a job I could've done better myself. They didn't have any designs to choose from, and they said people usually just bring their own pictures. I chose a fairly simple-looking flower design that I found online. Maybe this place should consider practicing some designs and having those available to choose from, rather than just 'winging it'. Oh my gosh I love love love getting my hair done here!!!! They know exactly what they are doing over there. I haven't found a good salon in i don't even know how long! Let me tell you, I am mixed with puertorican hair.... and people on the north side don't know how to work with curly hair and the people here at obsession know exactly how to work with my hair since I am no longer the minority which felt good. If you need to get your hair done and it's hard to find someone you can trust enough to get it right, try this place out. It's worth it! And the prices are NOT BAD at all. Made an appointment for my daughter and I for her birthday.. I made an appointment for a reason. So we could both get our nails done together. It was her first time. She sat with her feet in the water for 30-40 min before anyone started her kids pedi. So frustrating. Don't take appointments if you're going to fill your employees with walk ins. It's also over priced for what you get. Hopefully there's a better nail place in the area. read more

It was my first time here at obsession nails and I will most likely be back. Their price was fair ( better than most places here in brownsburg ) They did a great job on my nails and I really liked how they turned out. My only complaint would be that she was a bit rough on my feet and scraped them too much. So it wasn't as relaxing as other experiences that I have had but for the price I will probably be back. read more

Located five minutes from the house, Obsession Nail Spa worked well for me. I went midday and was treated really well. I plan to return.

My daughter and I walked into Obsession Nails at 6:20 PM, and signed in for a mani/pedi for each of us. We were not greeted by any of the employees who were working. While we were looking at the polish colors, an employee came up to us and rather rudely said we could only do a mani or a pedi, but not both, without offering a reason why. I asked why and she stated because they don't have time to do both (they close at 7:30 PM). If a business closes at 7:30 PM, I expect them to remain open and perform their services until then, meaning this place should be taking customers up until that time. We went ahead and settled for just pedicures. I witnessed the employees turn away 4 other customers because it was "too close to closing time." If the employees want to walk out of the salon to go home at 7:30, they should rethink their closing time (maybe close at 6:30 instead). I felt like my nail tech was rushing through the pedicure so that she could be done by 7:30. She was, however, very friendly and did a decent job. A couple annoyances: there were several handwritten signs around the salon telling customers they needed to tip and tip in cash only. I have never seen signs like these in any nail salon, and thought they were pretty tacky. Also, one of the employees had her 6-year-old son with her and he sat next to my daughter and talked to her the entire time. He was cute and my daughter was a good sport about it, but it seemed unprofessional and I could see how his constant chatting could annoy some customers. Biggest issue of all: both my daughter and I had gift cards for $35, which is the price of a mani/pedi. Since we could only get one service each, we lost out on the $35 deal, because a pedicure is $25 (prices for just a mani or just a pedi are not posted in the salon, only the mani/pedi combo). If we want to use the remaining $10 on each card, we'll need to go back again and pay extra for whatever we get. We were expecting to get the full treatment, and were disappointed that we could not get it. If I go back to use the remaining balance, that will be the last time. There are other nail salons in Brownsburg who won't turn away my business. read more

Worst nail salon in the area. I was the only person in and one worker sat and watched TV the other had earplugs in while filing my nails down to nubs Cost $30 to only put on jells. Not take jells off. Overpriced and not welcoming. read more

I took my niece and my daughter for pedicures and was disappointed to see an R-rated movie playing on the tv. In addition the water was cold in our foot baths. We were told to wait until the other chairs were empty but even after 40 minutes of waiting and watching all the chairs become available a different lady finally told us (after I managed to get her attention) that all the chairs had cold water. When I expressed that I wish we had been told that 30+ minutes prior I was given extreme attitude and disrespect. We left immediately and will not be going back. I can understand a problem with a water heater but there is NO excuse for poor customer service. read more

My husband purchased an $80 gift certificate for me from Obsession Nails Spa. The first time I tried to use it, I was told they were booked for the day with weddings and I should call to make an appointment first. I then called to make an appointment and was told they could not get me in. I asked if they would accept my gift certificate beyond expiration and was told I would not have any issues using it at a later date. I called again to make an appointment and was informed my gift certificate is no longer valid and she didn't know why I waited so long to use it. She was very rude and short with me and obviously isn't concerned about losing additional customers. I will be telling all of my Brownsburg friends to avoid this spa. read more

I couldn't have been any less impressed. I am a stay at home mom and my husband travels all week. He was thoughtful enough to take the day off and surprise me with a mani/pedi. Unfortunately my usual nail place wasn't available so my husband made an apt here. They immediately got me in, however the lady doing my pedicure was very occupied. She consistently looked around and wasn't paying attention. My pedicure has chipped within less than a week and upon leaving their salon I noticed there was polish all over my actual skin. This same lady did my gel manicure. She again was too consumed with what was going on around her to pay attention to my manicure. My gel manicure had smudges in the actual nails as well as polish on my skin. My index finger chipped within two days. I would have complained and asked for a redo- except I had a dr apt and was running behind. I would never recommend this place. It was a waste of my only "me" day as well as my money. read more
