I walked right in but others who had been there longer were still waiting when I left. The color is nice but the nail coverage could've been better. The tvs were loud. I have been going here for years. She knows me, accommodates me into her schedule whenever I stop in, works quickly, and puts so much care into what she does. I actually love that she has her children in there, because my son likes to come so he can hang out with her son. Makes my mom life that much easier. :) she is so sweet and although there is often a language barrier, she has never not given me exactly what I have wanted. I've been her before and the older lady did my gel pedicure and the younger lady talked me into getting a full set with gel polish which was fine due to me not trying it in a while. My experience that day was great. I decided to go back today and walked in the business a couple minutes after five and was greeted and asked what service I wanted. The older lady was not there but the younger one was and there was also a young man. NO CLIENTS were there but me! Once the younger lady seen who I was she asked me if I was getting a fill in and I politely said no and that I would like to soak the nails off and get a gel manicure and pedicure because acrylic is not for me! She tries to continue to convince me to get the fill in as I'm basically telling the younger gentleman that's doing my pedicure to not cut my toenails to short(he literally started cutting my nails which weren't long as soon as I set down). The whole time he's doing my pedicure I'm basically asking him is he gone cut my cuticles and etc. So he half ass did my pedicure and she begin to drill the acrylic off my nails and after he finished what he called a pedicure she then had me sit at the table to soak off the remaining acrylic. Which is weird because in the past at other nail salons they usually soak my nails off as I'm getting my pedicure. A young Caucasian girl comes in to get an acrylic set on her toes and the young lady that works there just had me sitting there until she got finish with the young girl. At this point I'm fuming because I've been here almost two hours and all that's been done is a half ass pedicure and partial soak off. At this point I tell her I don't want a manicure because there is still acrylic on my nails and you basically brushed me off to service someone else as if my money isn't just as good, and even with all the shit I dealt with I remained calm I wasn't disrespectful and I paid for the half as services that was rendered and went elsewhere for my gel manicure in which I loved the service and the atmosphere at Top nails. Rude here didn't do what delux paper says short massage uneven nails only two layers of gel polish not busy overpriced $20 for gel so supposed to get deluxe got nothing extra never will go back. I would give 0 stars if it were possible. Should've been simple, I called ahead asked the price for a color change (regular polish) $10, then I said one of my acrylics is coming up in the back Id like a nail fix (regular acrylic) $3 OK got it. So I head over walk in only 2 people in the shop I pick my color lady asks me if I'm who called, I say yes. She says okay please wait, no issue. Then I assume the husband or some man comes from the back and asks what I needed I told him the service listed above^. He begins to clip my messed up Acrylic then he takes a faux nail and rips (not exaggerating) my old nail off then grabs a new nail for my bare finger. He glued it on cut the sides then said "Okay so this is going to be $4 extra cause it's long". I said Oh I already called and got the price and he said no now it's different cause this nail is long and pointy it's $4 extra. They charge $5 extra to do stiletto nails on 10 fingers, they charge $3 for a single nail fix. This is supposed to buffer the fact that it's less work (finger count wise) but no, this man rolled his eyes at me when I said why hadn't he told me before the process considering he saw the nail shape he said doesn't matter either way I've wasted his time. He then yanks my hand and says "fine fine I'll remember you you want the fix for $3 fine I'll remember you" then tries to pull me to buff my nails. I said no that won't be necessary at all I can just go. It wasn't the (random) added charge it was the clear disrespect huffing and puffing eyerolling because they lacked communication and couldn't work their hustle. I could've got $1 nail glue and fixed my raising cuticle by my damn self. Woman who greeted me wouldn't even look at me cause she knew he was wrong. I use to go in there all the time but it got to much when they let there kid run around then place all the time. But I thought I would give them another shot so I have been in there a few times the same thing kid running around all the time but again I was looking over that but i was in there one time and they told me it will only be a min well that lead into 30min and i just left because they took someone back that came in there after me. But yet again I go in there again today Wednesday June 27, 2018 and the lady was waiting on someone and the husband was in the back but someone else came in the husband came up to me and asked me if I could wait a few minutes so his wife could paint the ladies nails that she was not feeling well and could not do the other ladies feet and I said yes. But come to find out the wife was not only painting her nails but needed to fill them in to so I sat there for 20min and seen that. It's like they did not want to wait on me. Worst customer service-- took 50 minutes to be seated, was not apologize for the wait either nor did they give an estimated time length. They were not friendly, except to say hello when I arrived. No smiles were given at all. Got only a gel nail repair, which cost $5. The salon has many pretty colors and designs, but the service enormously outweighed the good. I asked the younger lady doing my nails how much a design was and she said "not a lot" and proceeded to talk in Vietnamese with her mother without ever giving me a direct answer. The older gentleman, the grandfather, was rude to his client who was a young teenaged girl. He had mixed up the color she wanted and she politely said the color was not the same. He rudely insisted he "chose the color she picked out", but was then corrected by his daughter (my nail tech) in the salon. After my nail was repaired, I whispered to the mother that her daughter was getting treated horribly and that Sky Nails was the worst customer service I had ever seen. I always go to Regal Nails in Walmart because they all are very nice and professional (they had been closed during the time I needed my nail repaired). I suggested the mother go to that location instead. The older gentleman then told us "no whispering", for which is a moot point since they all conversed in Vietnamese the entire time. I told him we would speak Japanese then and proceeded to advise her (whispering still) on not coming back to the location. So me and my wife were in town visiting friends and she needed a manicure and pedicure. We just stumbled across this nail shop and decided to have her nails done there because we're not too familiar with the area and thought it couldn't be too bad. First we were going to go into the shop next door, which I think the name was Seleny's or something like that, but we were told not to go there by the Sky Nails shop owner and they promised a better nail job at a better price. He went on to say that Seleny's is a bad business, they damage people's hair and treat their clients very poorly and to never go there. So we thought we should give his shop a shot. Man were we wrong! This was by far the worst customer service, and nail work my wife has ever had in her life. First problem, the shop is filthy! They have very bad air circulation so the fumes are extremely strong, that can't be healthy! Health department should probably pay them a visit! Then if that wasn't enough, they had their kids running around screaming in the shop like its a playground and a new born! And everyone including us are breathing in those strong fumes, unbelievable! I also smelled cigarette smoke coming from the back on top of all this! The owners also also had loud argument in front of everyone to add to the already horrible atmosphere! It seems like they're living there because I saw a bed and stove top when I went to use the bathroom too. Oh and not to mention, my wife's nails were ugly as the devil. I though at first this was a good place I took my mom who hasn't had her nails done in a long time and she is elderly I told them what we wanted them to do to her nails I went outside for just a second to smoke a cigarette and he told her that he was going to do gel powder what she didn't even know what that was and then told her that they was going to do a bunch of other stuff and not told her any price of it at the end of getting her nails done they said the price was $65 for a full set with clear gel polish and they totally got over on her also I had a fill in and gel polish and I have gotten my nails done for over 3 years with gel polish and have never had my nails chip or scratch within 2 days my nails were all scratched up and have chunks missing out of them this is one of the worst place I've ever gotten my nails done at and will never go and hope that no one ever get to duped like they did me and my mother read more

First off let me say the service is good and the people are nice but their methods or not. I've gone there since they have opened and the first time I quit going was because they let their child run all over the place toys are everywhere and clients were babysitting . Most people go to a spa to relax and get away from their own kids. I do understand people have to make a living and childcare is expensive but losing business because you have no childcare is most times the result. Started going back because the convenience and yes because they do good work. Apparently there are only certain services that the wife can do So no matter if the husband is doing your pedicure or not he quits makes you wait until the wife can finish it ... A 25 minute service ended up taking an hour and a half this happen 2x - am I a nice person and they think I don't mind ? The last three times I've been there I have gotten the same service and been charged three different prices. I decided to call check to see what the prices were for the service that I got and yes I was over charge $6 . Again I try to overlook it because I like their service they were busy I wasn't going to nitpick about it. But it's happened two more times even after I ask how much it's going to be and being told the price by the husband and then the wife will give me a different price. I made clear I wanted acrylic fill with gel polish and this time they try to overcharge me $7. I am Beginning to think this is almost a scam. You get one price from the husband and the wife and tells you that she used a different product and what you asked for and that it's a more expensive product you feel bad that they use the more expensive product on you so you go ahead and pay is this an honest mistake? Especially when you have done this to the same person several times? I'm done I am so done. I'm very upset about it because I like the quality of their work but also I now know I don't have to worry about if I catch a fungus from them using the same buffers and nails on the same clients and throwing them back in the drawer when they're done w o sanitizing . If you can Overlook these things don't care always being on a roulette wheel with your price and health go for it . read more
