Went in for a pedicure because i saw the owner raving that they do long nice pedicures & take their time. When i went in 2 customers were getting theirs done at the same time, i was done with my pedicure before my 20 min chair massage was up, & the two people next to me were still enjoying theirs. No cuticle oil was used before cutting my cuticles, removed a "hang nail" & cause me to bleed badly bc skin was grabbed(pic included) & when i felt my skin on the bottom it felt so rough like i didn't even get a pedicure. I asked for that to be fixed but it was another $5 & didn't offer any compensation for my bleeding sore toe. DON NOT RECOMMEND!! read more

Nail Reflections is Huge! They must have more than a dozen nail stations and almost as many pedi chairs. And, while the people there are nice AND I'm basically satisfied with my color, I need to make note that there are a couple spots on a few fingers that feel as if they've been sanded just short of bleeding... The man who did mine REALLY WENT TO TOWN WITH THE FILE!! OUCH! Also, the nails on my right hand are noticeably shorter than my left. I loved how quickly I was taken back to get my nails done unfortunately the design that I had chosen is not anywhere near the picture that I showed her. While I did say that it wasn't a big deal if it look the same I am a little more used to having a nail tech take initiative and make a sample Ardmore her own style rather than making it oversimplified we're just kind of what I've done. I almost wish I had just turned around and been like hey I don't really like my design but that's not what I did anyway they do have fast service. I went in for a fill and my sister got a full set. Hers looked ok but definitely not $70 ok they were not what she wanted. As for me I will NEVER be going back here ever. Remind you I went in for a fill and my nails took so long that 3 customers got new full sets and another was halfway done. She repeatedly cut the sides of my nails with the nail file. I stopped in here to get a gel manicure while I was in town visiting my parents. Upon entering the salon, the staff seemed annoyed that I had walked in even though they were open for another hour. After choosing the color I sat down for the manicure. The girl was pretty rough with filing and pushing my cuticles. Then when she started cutting my cuticles she was rushing through it and very rough. On my left ring finger she ripped the cuticle so hard that it started bleeding (I don't want to be over dramatic and say gushing, but it was a lot). She put a little alcohol on a paper towel to try and stop the bleeding but it didn't work. So her next solution, while working on the rest of my nails, was to wad up some paper towels and basically make a tourniquet with the hair tie on her wrist. Not a doctor - but I know that's not sanitary. Then after it still wouldn't stop bleeding, she tried to carry on and at one point tried to use the file over my nail where it touched the blood that was still coming out. The file she was using had been pulled out of the drawer, so I'm not sure how or if it had been sanitized - or would be for the next person. At that point I asked her to please stop and that I just wanted a bandaid and to go home because this is not acceptable. She tried to argue a bit and I said absolutely not. I spoke with the manager who offered me a gift certificate, which I declined. I had 3 cuticles bleeding when I left. I've never winced so many times in a manicure. I have been here several times with no issues, until i let another person do my nails. They stripped my nails in remover twice because the guy rushed the polish. I have never had so many broken nails in my life. I went in for acrylics and came out with bubbly, crooked nails and different shaped nails. This is after fixing it once. And when I say fix it I mean putting nail polish remover on his finger and simply dabbing the mistake. No new color just redid the top coat. I have now broken three nails, the last one breaking after pulling a puppy pad out of the box! So incredibly disappointed. Please don't go here unless you want to waste money! read more

READ: OVERALL GOOD NAILS, SOME IMPOLITE STAFF. - I started going here late last year after asking my friend where she got her gorgeous acrylics done at. they always looked good and never unnatural looking or too thick, so I gave it a go. the first couple sets I got I did like quite a lot, although I did notice that they were almost so thin that I had acrylics break quite often--which bugged me(especially because they charge 6$ to repair one), but they looked so good I kept going back. one of the technicians there was very sweet but sometimes left me with slightly uneven nails that were painting slightly away from the cuticle (making them look grown out) so I had the owner do my set this time (he and his wife own the shop). he did an extremely good job and when I asked how much rhinestones were he said he wouldn't charge--however when I got up to pay, his wife charged me an extra 6$ for a few extremely small rhinestones. I was irritated, but I let it slide. I had a nail break today (after just a few days) and when I called back to ask if they'd fix it, she said she would charge me 6$ even though they used to do it for free if your nails were done recently. I mentioned that I was overcharged on my last visit and asked if she would waive the fee because of that, but she got increasingly snappier and rude, and never acknowledged that they had overcharged me or made any effort to make it right. it really bugged me that as a repeat customer who has never given them any problems, she wasn't willing to understanding or be helpful. I really like this place, but I'm not sure I want to continue coming here if they don't value their customers or fix their mistakes. read more

This was the worst mani/pedi I have ever had!!!! I went in here because my normal spot had a really long wait due to prom. I don't know the girl's name because she never told me but she was horrible. She cut only the corners of my toenails for some reason and never even btohered to file them. They are very sharp now and quite uncomfortable. She cut my toe in two places during my pedicure and never even acknowledged doing it, even when I said Ouch becuase it hurt and it was bleeding. I asked for a design on my toes, which was a mistake. After several attempts of simple abstact, she said she could do a good flower. I agreed, but this is the worst flower I have ever seen. She dripped large amounts of orange polish on my sandal and rolled her eyes at me when I asked her to remove it from my shoe. She cut my fingernails too short, which I could overlook without all of the other issues. She did not trim my cuticles at all. She dumped a cup of acetone on my lap and didn't even apologize. There was excess polish on the sides of my fingernails that I had to have another technician remove. The polish is so thick, it is already chipping off and it is gel polish. She did not paint the ends of the nails either. I had my nails done on Saturday and I need to have them completely redone. I would never go back to this salon and do not recommend it to anyone. read more

I moved to Greenwood from out of state and was looking for a nail salon when I found Nail Reflections. I've now been going here for over a year and could not be more pleased. The technicians are so friendly and make an effort to get to know me and my preferences with my nails. The owners are wonderful and really care about their customers! This salon stays busy so I normally try to go during the week if I can. The deluxe pedicure is so worth it!!! I normally get a gel (shellac) manicure and I'm always very happy! Then the technician didn't properly remove my previously gel nail polish, didn't file my nail, or trim my cuticles. The tech did a sloppy job and then when asked to fix it by another tech somehow made it worse. One tech was actually nice and tried to help but there's no fixing the mess on my nails. I stumbled across this on yelp by accident and started reading some of these reviews. I read what it said right before writing this and I want to say, in no way was I asked to write this, offered a "freebie", or am I affiliated with the owners or employees in any way other than getting a service done. I have been going to this salon the whole time it has been opened minus one year. I'm guessing 19 years maybe? Anyway, I am surprised by the negativity on here because the owners are very meticulous about the work done here. I've always been satisfied obviously, and so have my friends. They are very friendly, although you may get a nail tech who is a bit shy, with no disrespect intended. Linh, co-owner with her husband Tom, is very much a perfectionist and expects the best from her employees. I think some people are a little uncomfortable to walk into a salon full of people they think are from a different nationality. Yes, they are descendants of Vietnam, but born in the good ole USA. As far as the review that said the employees were talking about her in another language? Number one, unless she talked that language she does not know. I did wonder for a bit why they sometimes talked English and other times Vietnamese, then I realized that some of them are better versed in Vietnamese as they aren't as fluent in English. I also believe at times it's just automatic, because I think some of the elders in their families still use Vietnamese as their first language, so they are just fluent in both. I've never thought they were talking about me and I don't believe they do. Has it EVER happened? Probably, but whoever did it, is no longer there I'd say. Anyway, I love this salon, the owners, the employees, and the service. They will go out of their way for you, they really will. If you were unhappy, it was prob just a fluke as we all have off days. Sorry this is so long, but I've been known to talk a bunch especially about what I believe in. Don't ever give up on Nail Reflections. They are the best. All good people. I'm editing/adding on to this because I saw that yelp has my location as Franklin, IN by my pic, and that is wrong. I'm actually from Brown County and that brings up another good point. The whole time I've been going here I've lived at least 45 minutes away in BC, but I make the drive because it's worth it. Are there closer salons? This place is unacceptable! I have been waiting for over an hour waiting to get my nails done and there are only 3 workers. All of the workers have been working on the pedicures and they have not said anything or acknowledged that I am here. I come here a lot and usually I get in and out. When I usually come here they don't even do your nails well they just throw on some polish and they're done. I did not have a good experience here. The french gel manicure I got was NOT good. I asked for square nails and the gentleman made some of them round. The width of each french tip didn't match and you can see my nail underneath. The tips are all squiggly, one tip is smudged and he smudged the clear polish on two other nails. Lastly, the clear polish is all over the sides of my fingers and my cuticles. Will NOT be returning. read more

I was new to the area and didn't know where to go for a good mani/pedi. I found this place close to my work and decided to try it out. The first visit was very awful since the guy who worked on my nails seemed very inexperienced and did a very poor job on my nails. I went back home and decided to call the place and tell them that I am not happy with what they did. So i called them and the girl Lin answered the phone who is also the owner and she told me to come back to get it fixed. I came back and got my nails redone and she did a very good job. I have been going back since then and never had any complaints. But I do make appointments with just Lin. Their prices are very reasonable as well read more

I wish I could give this salon less than 1 star because I would. I have been here about 5 times, consistent bad service.. the manicurists almost act like you are inconveniencing them. Came in Saturday for a gel fill, the gentle man who did my nails did a terrible job. Sloppy job, you can literally see the French manicure under each one of my fingers. Put no care into his work clearly. Mind you I paid $35 for this. See pictures. Called Monday to speak to management to inform them that I was displeased with how my nails turned out. The owner was very rude over the phone, interrupted me multiple times and just overall not receptive of criticism. Followed up by coming into the salon, there was no one at the front desk so I went around the corner to ask for a manager and the gentleman ( who I know is a co owner) again was extremely rude. I told him I'd like to speak to a manager he basically gestured your looking at him, I explained that I just talked to his wife on the phone and asked what he'd like me to do. He responded by saying I need to wait. Horrible way to treat a customer all around. The goal is to do QUALITY work and keep customers coming back. This was the oddest manicure experience I have ever had!! I went with my friend and she was placed with a friendly woman and I was placed with her husband. I typically do not talk much while getting my nails done, but the only time he talked to me was when he told me to wash my hands after he sanded my nails. However, my friend wasn't told to wash her hands until her manicure was completely finished. I guess this made the polish run more on my nails and it began to get onto the skin on the sides of my nails, but the man just continued and acted like nothing was wrong. Before he put the top coat on, his wife came over and told him to fix the sides, but he slammed the polish down next to her and made her do it! She did the best she could to fix it (it doesn't look too bad now) and when she was done she said "Never let a man touch your nails." I will be taking her advice from now on lol!! Overall, not worth the relatively cheap prices and since you can't request for a certain nail tech, the odds of getting the good ones are not in your favor. read more
