I was able to pick colors from a sample set she had available. I went with a gel manicure and she did wonderfully! My hands and nails felt and looked beach ready afterwards and it was so reasonable! Usually they will just remove the clear coat with the drill then wrap my nails in acetone for a few minutes, then gently scrape the remainder off. This girl removed all the polish leaving my natural nails thin and fragile. Sadly, the next day one broke completely off. I shouldn't have to tell the nail tech how to do their job. I reached out early in the morning to see if they could accommodate me on a very busy Friday after work due to a change in my schedule. They were able to fit me in - but I know that wasn't easy because it is a very busy salon. 2. I brought in a PRESS ON NAIL to show them the look, the color, and the shape I wanted . We had a laugh comparing the colors until we mutually agreed on a close matching shade I liked. Christine was very diligent explaining it would be a little darker that the press on. At that point, I wanted my toes to match. Although she didn't have time to do a full pedicure, she very graciously offered to change my toenail polish, which I gladly paid for! Even with a polish change, she was so conscientious in trimming and shaping my nails. 3. Dip powder with new tips. Let me start with this: I haven't had great experiences lately. Without going into all the details let's just say my former salon was failing. Something changed after my preferred manicurist left. I was getting thick, blobby, wavy nails, chrome finish dimpling and denting, a cut foot, and ripped cuticles. Here is where Christine absolutely knocked it out of the park. Communicating with me the entire time, at every step, making sure everything was exactly what I wanted and asked for. I mean, I too, can benefit as well, but it was more important for my mom to get this service because she and her feet are at risk. She suffers from diabetes and has had chemotherapy in the past.
