They didn't charge us extra for them being late and were very respectful of our property and made the move easy and efficient. I would give zero stars if I could. We hired these movers in October (I know it was awhile ago but I had contacted the company and have been waiting for a reply) to move us into our new home 15 minutes away. They were friendly enough and everything appeared to be going well until we paid them and they left and we started situating our things. I don't think we had any of our furniture moved unscathed. We had just purchased an expensive purple mattress and there were dirty hand prints all over it. I later found similar dirty handprints on each of my daughters mattresses. My bedside nightstand was completely broken and the drawer no longer works. Each of my daughters dressers and bookshelves have damage. When I called to discuss the damage and soiled mattress, the lady I spoke to said someone would get ahold of me to have my mattress professionally cleaned (never happened) and suggested I contact the manufacturer to see if they will come fix my dresser that THEY broke! She said the owner would get back to me to discuss my complaints and no one has ever contacted me from this company. I never expected a refund, but I was hopeful that they would pay to have my mattress cleaned. read more

Wouldn't recommend. They moved my 2 bedroom into storage. After seeing the way they put everything into storage I don't feel the space was utilized well. Also several chips in my furniture. They broke the bottom leg off my entertainment center, just set the piece on top of it, and didn't bother to mention it. There was miscommunication because I said I wanted the furniture wrapped and they didn't. I didn't realize till they were almost done so they offered to charge me and wrap what was left. $750 for a 5 hour move that probably could have taken 3 and a half hours. They were nice guys but I've definitely had more efficient movers in the past. read more

John did an incredible job with our cross country move. He was pleasant and assured us that our belongings were in good hands. We moved a 4 bedroom house from AZ to NJ a week ago and am extremely glad that we found this company. From the time we set up a quote to when the last item was delivered, it was a seamless process. He and his team wrapped up the large fragile items and made sure there were no scratches/dents with it during the pickup, transit and delivery. WORST MOVING EXPERIENCE EVER! We wish we could give ZERO STARS! The three movers they sent us were young kids, probably couldn't even order an alcoholic beverage legally. They were sloppy, rushed and damaged nearly every piece of our furniture. They didn't have the right tools, we took apart most of the furniture and the furniture they put back together they did so incorrectly. We asked them to be more careful, one of them cussed and yelled at me. Really??? The absolute worst moving experience ever. Where do I start.... First, one of the workers quit on the job, then two of the movers started a cussing match in the middle of my street and were going to get physical. I had to call the owner several times to report issues. It took them 8+ hours to complete the move. Demolished my daughters bed post and my queen bed as well. Not to mention scratching and denting the front of my refrigerator because they dropped in while getting it through my front door. Several dents in the walls and missing parts to my furniture. The worst part is when this punk employee decided he wanted to square up to me as if I were going to engage in a fight. By far the worst experience ever. I am extremely pleased with the service I received from HHM. They were very prompt in providing me with a quote and responding to all of my questions regarding the move. On the day of the move, they arrived on time and worked continuously as efficiently as possible. They will treat you and your possessions with utmost care and respect and ensure that you are completely satisfied with their service. I always dreaded moving but HHM takes all that stress from you. I am glad I did not think that I could have done this on my own as I have with my last 2 moves. If you think you don't have that much stuff, you do. If you think you can do this all by yourself in 2 hours, you can't. Realize that there's still so much to do when the movers leave, such as unpacking and organizing, so leave the heavy lifting to the pros and save yourself some heartache (and physical aches too). So... I really wanted to like this company and give them a great review. I had such a good conversation on the phone when I booked our move- but it went down hill from there. First- movers were 45 mins late- which, I get it - stuff happens. Fine. But, no one called to let us know. I had to reach out to them. Then it was the no masks, smelling like 100 pack of cigarettes, no care taken when moving our things, missing boxes, dented and scratched furniture after the move, leaving my sons bed unassembled, and the leaving tools and trash at our old house that did it for me. Also, it was the fact that they couldn't get what I wanted in the truck and kept taking boxes despite me asking multiple times for them just to get the large furniture and exercise equipment I can't lift myself later and our "estimate" was very low compared to the actual price. And the three men I paid for were really like 2. Just FYI. Next time I will definitely do more research. read more

However, despite knowing ahead of the move that stairs would be involved, they took 4 1/2 hours to complete the move for an 800 sqft one bedroom apartment that only has bedroom furniture and a couch. We eventually had to start moving boxes ourselves to save money against the clock running... could've saved a lot of money if I knew I was going to end up moving myself. My brand new dresser and bed frame were also left dirty and scratched from the move. I won't be using this company again. read more
