While visiting Phoenix, we met with some local friends for lunch. It was very yummy! Didn't realize they'd just opened this location in the spring. All of the food we had was delicious! They were sold out of chicken and pork soup dumplings, so we settled for seafood. The cucumber salad was my favorite- the garlic was so tasty. I would honestly say it's comparable to Din Tai Fung! Fried rice was delicious too- the flavors were great. Definitely recommend stopping by! The family who runs it is so kind.

Ummmmm yes a must try!!! I tried all the things and can't wait to try more!!! I really enjoyed everything that I got! It was packed when I got there for my pick up making me lowkey happy I was taking it to go! It's a smaller space but clean and the food is good so if you're willing to wait a little bit for a table you'll be fine! The food was fresh hot and I also added the homemade chili sauce sooooo worth it!!

Im so happy they have a location in north phx now. The food was great and in my opinion, better than din tai fung's! The skin of the xlb is much softer and they have more soup inside them. The service was good, it is a small business. I wish they had a little bit more space inside but overall, everything was great.

Fantastic service, food and super relaxed atmosphere. $40 was a great deal for all of this. We'll be back!

My family and I are visiting Arizona and we were looking for a good Chinese food restaurant to try. Happy Bao came up on my Uber Eats and I saw that it had an amazing rating on Yelp. The food was sure enough delicious! I loved everything we ordered. Next time we come out, we will definitely try more on the menu.

They have a bright menu with a lot of pictures. Chill vibes. Pokémon was on, they have a big tv with it on. No idea if that's what they always play bc I wasn't fully watching. Food was pretty decent. We bought a spread so we could taste different things. The seafood xiao long bao was decent. Mild flavor, thin wrapper. They have a vinegary xiao long bao sauce on the table to accompany it. It tastes even better with it. It's not overly salty, which is always good. Kiddo ordered Lu Ro Fan and hated it. I tried it, it was fine. She just wasn't a fan of the textures but said flavor wise it was fine. You get a good size portion of food, there's a lot of flavors. I actually liked it and would eat it again. The only thing I thought could improve was having a softer boiled egg. It was fully hard boiled, just shy of getting the gray color on the yolk. Service was okay. Nothing to complain about, nothing special. You order from a QR code at the table. The dumplings were very mid. The wrappers were so thick. I think I'm extra particular because when I make mine I like thinner wrappers. Filling was okay, not that flavorful. On the table they have a dumpling sauce as well. We also ordered the Sheng Jian Bao combo. They were okay. Mild in flavor. Not bad but needed something flavor wise to step it up. Would I come back? Yes, there's still other things I want to try.

My family and I had pork green chives, chicken cabbage dumplings, house-fried rice and I don't remember what else. Goodness gracious! Everything was so delicious from the first bite to the last. The service was great. They checked up on us every 7-10 mins to make sure we had enough water, chili sauce, ginger and napkins. The vibes of this establishment is very welcoming and comforting. They gave us advice on the mixology of sauces for our food. If you're a family of 5 or more and looking for a place that serves family portions I highly recommend this place! We're definitely coming back on our next family outing.

I love the soup dumplings here, they're always flavorful and satisfying. The beef noodle soup is also excellent, warm, comforting, and perfect for any day. This location is very clean, spacious, and offers plenty of seating, making it a great place to dine in. Service is fast, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Overall, a wonderful dining experience that keeps me coming back.

Absolutely loved our experience at Happy Bao in Glendale! We ordered the chicken xiao long bao, hot & sour noodle soup, cucumber salad, and beef sheng jian bao--and every single thing was SO good! The hot & sour noodle soup was incredible and definitely a standout. The cucumber salad was such a pleasant surprise and quickly became one of our favorites--so refreshing and flavorful! The chicken xiao long bao were delicious, and the beef sheng jian bao were just as amazing. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and seriously satisfying. We'll absolutely be back to try more of the menu!

Food is truly amazing, have had soup dumplings in Hong Jong and this is comparable

Food was authentic and fresh, loved it. Great experience. Atmosphere was clean and good vibes

I have a *slight* (haha) soup dumpling habit. A trip to Vegas or LA and I will go to Din Tai Fung every day. I was super happy they opened up in the valley... but it is so hard to get a reservation and it is very spendy. You can image how thrilled I was to discover Happy Bao's and their awesome Xiao long bao! They are tender and very, very flavorful. The broth inside is superb! Are they the same? No. But they ARE great in their own way. They have more broth and are slighlty larger than I am used to. That said, they are still one bite and so tasty! Also, less expensive and closer to home! Wins all around! My only regret is that I couldn't finish them at the restaurant as I wanted to try other dishes. Also got the spicy chili wontons. Not too spice and the filling is very flavorful. The pork flavor was almost like sausage flavor, but not sausage... hard to describe. I also ordered the beef chow fun. The beef was tender and the overall flavor of the dish was yummy. The noodles seemed a tad overcooked, but i did really enjoy it. As I was dining alone, I had lots leftover and am looking forward to sharing them with a family member for lunch tomorrow. Service was great. Fast and friendly. Will definitely be back and can't wait to try other dishes!

Tried this place at their new location for the first time and i was impressed. The pork ribs were so tender and flavorful, the soup dumplings were delicious! I did think the dough was too much for the meat ratio but still yummy. The chicken spicy wontons were not my favorite. The dough was way too thick. Fried rice was mediocre, nothing special. The noodles were so yummy and flavorful. The service was excellent and the place was so nice!

Absolutely incredible. Every dish we ordered was packed with flavor and tasted incredibly fresh. The soup dumplings were the standout, perfectly juicy with a rich, savory broth inside. The pan-fried soup buns had an amazing crispy sesame-coated bottom while staying soft and juicy on top. The spicy wontons were coated in a flavorful chili oil that had just the right amount of heat, and the beef noodle soup was comforting, rich, and loaded with tender beef that fell apart with every bite. The service was friendly, the food came out hot and fresh, and you can tell everything is made with care. If you're a dumpling lover, this place is a must-visit. We'll definitely be back!

When you walk in, you scan a QR code at your table to place your order, if you need help they are there to help you, and your meal is brought to your table in a boiling hot pot that continues to cook your food. I ordered the vegetable hot pot with lamb on the side, my daughter got the kimchi dumpling hot pot, and her friend ordered the seafood hot pot. Everything came out steaming hot, fresh, and full of flavor. If you need more broth, they're happy to bring you extra. The atmosphere is calm, and relaxing, making it a great place to enjoy a meal. They also serve complimentary green tea, which was such a nice touch. It reminded me of going to Chinese restaurants as a kid when they would bring hot tea to the table. It brought back wonderful memories. The regular size was more than enough food for me, and the staff were incredibly welcoming, kind, and quick to prepare and serve everything. I definitely recommend Tasty Pot if you're looking for a comforting, flavorful meal and a fun dining experience. I'll definitely be back again!

When we got a table, we ordered using the QR code. It took a bit of time for our food and drinks to come. But the spot was pretty busy. Only saw the server when they brought our drink and our food, and when we ordered additional drinks. This is not like the typically hot pot spots where they bring you the broth and meats/veggies separately to cook yourself. You pick a "soup" premade and it comes to your table in a hot clay pot. It's a bit heavier broth. Definitely not what my taste buds enjoy. However my husband liked it. I don't think I'll dine here again only because I prefer the cook myself experience, simple ingredients, and lighter broth.

An attempt was made at some sort of…read morelighting for evening hours... but I suspect as noodles are a comfort food corporate would've been better off to have gone with a cozier vibe for the interior. The modern surfaces and furniture are unremarkable. It's difficult to distinguish whether a table you approach is dirty or clean because of the weird would like texture/pattern to the surface. We were gladly provided with actual menus so we could sit down and make our selections before returning to the register to place our order. This was much appreciated by the 10 year-old. He chose the buttered noodles with grilled chicken another vegetable option as a side would have been appreciated, but he went with an extra order of broccoli. It was a little more al dente than he appreciated. And while he's not one to notice or comment, I was really annoyed with the lack of Care taken to place the grilled chicken in any sort of attractive manner on his serving of noodles. Quite frankly, it looked a little mangled. As we were leaving, I noticed a customer who had ordered the Caesar salad and added chicken, and it looked nicely and attractively placed on the salad so I know that someone in the back is capable of plating well.. This was my first time dining at a noodle restaurant. I was astonished at the really nice variety of noodle dishes. It would be hard for someone to not be able to find one that made their mouth water. I opted for the Korean Steak noodles. Perfectly seasoned, heat and texture were spot on the cashier. Encouraged us to keep one of the hardcopy menus to take home, which we did and I enjoyed browsing the other options. I was especially surprised with the nearly Julian cucumbers on top of the dish. So many more options to explore. The snickerdoodle like cookies were tasty, but there's nothing like a homemade one.. for those who are fond of rice crispy treats there big wedges are a must order. A friendly employee who offered us menus and later took our order was pleasant and interactive. She did invite me to join the loyalty program, which I declined at the time and enrolled in later. Her pleasant demeanor seemed natural to her.. we will definitely be back. I merely would like the staff to understand that even if it is a kids meal, the aesthetics of how it is plated matters.. we eat with our eyes before we take an actual bite!
