Came here on 50% off Wednesday and it was super good! We ordered whole fried chicken & galbi jim with some drinks. The service was good and the food was perfectly seasoned. Would come again

Yummy Korean bar foods and good assortment of drinks. Was shocked at the price of the potato pancakes but ended up being our favorite thing. Service is great and fun place to spend an evening with friends.

We had a great time at Hanshin Pocha. The Korean street food was delicious and bursting with flavor. The grilled pork with cheese and kimchi fried rice were personal highlights. The ambiance was lively with bright colorful lights all around. Our server Ben was excellent. He gave great recommendations on dishes and was very attentive to our table. We will definitely be returning!

The World's Best BLT in a Lonely Gas Station Corner…read more Tucked into the dim corner of a run-down gas station off Highway 14 is The Griddle Stop, a place so unassuming you'd drive past it a hundred times without a second thought. Dusty windows, flickering neon, and a gas pump that hasn't worked since the Clinton administration. But behind a creaky door and a scratched-up counter sits the holy grail of sandwiches: the world's best BLT. Served on thick, toasted sourdough that crackles just right under your bite, the bacon comes in unapologetically fat slabs -- smoky, crisp, and curled like it has a story to tell. The lettuce? Iceberg, shredded fresh and cold like it was pulled straight from a mountain stream. The tomatoes are impossibly red, juicy, and somehow always in season, kissed with just enough salt to make your lips tingle. And the mayo -- homemade, garlicky, and spread edge to edge -- binds the whole miracle together. There's no music playing, no Instagram signage, and the cook, a retired Marine named Earl, only grunts when you compliment his food. But when that sandwich hits your table (a wobbly Formica top near the vending machine), the world slows down. You forget you're alone. You forget the gas station smell. You forget everything but the next bite. Five stars. No frills. No fuss. Just the kind of meal that makes you question every fancy sandwich you've ever overpaid for. Earl doesn't serve happiness, but he'll sure as hell give you the sandwich that feels like it.

Aii.. lemme start off by saying that the service was fantastic. Everyone was friendly and…read moreattentive. And the inside was clean and had a nice chill vibe with the music, so no complaints about service or ambiance. Now foe the real reason we're here, the grub. I wasn't disappointed at all, some things slapped more than others, but overall a good experience for my pallet. I'll go dish by dish. Ox tails were a 9 imo, they weren't the biggest, but they aren't stingy and the flavor was on point. Cabbage was a 7but not bad, I just would've liked it to be cooked down a little more but I appreciate the flavor profile cuz I sensed a lil spice to it. The sweet potatoes, ehhhh... I'd give em a 5 at best, only because it tasted like sweet potato pie! Which isn't nasty or gross but I didn't want or expect to be eating sweet potato pie is all, so I'd pass on that in the future myself. The turkey wings were a 7, I wanna give em an 8 cuz they were so damn tender and slipped off the bone, they cooked them perfectly. They just need a lil salt. Fortunately the gravy carried and made up for it, but I wish the turkey wings just had a tad bit more flavor on their own. But nonetheless I enjoyed em and would get them again push come to shove. The rice was a 10, moist and flavorful and just nothing bad to be said about the rice. Now for the collard greens. So much to dissect here, because I like big leafy greens vs chopped or dice, and they most certainly delivered in that regard so I was very happy there. HOWEVER... I couldn't tell if they were burnt or if they were over smoked!! Either way it messed up the flavoring for me and I couldn't enjoy them to their full potential, and THAT was a let down. So for the greens I'm teetering around a 6. I'd low key wanna try a sample again to see if they just had a bad day before wasting my time getting a while order and gambling with my taste buds. As for the Mac, I liked it, nothing super special to say or bad by any means either so I'm comfy giving the Mac an 8. The peach cobbler was a 7.5, my wife said it was too sweet for her but I enjoyed it. I feel since we took it to go and I reheated it by time I got back to the Telly, u can't really critique it too heavily cuz some things u need to have fresh in its natural state to give it a fair assessment, but nonetheless I enjoyed it and ate both mine and hers, and would definitely get it again. Overall great experience and would recommend to others and get myself if I'm ever down here again!

Hey there! This is my 2nd time coming to this restaurant & I can say that the restaurant has an…read moreattractive appearance. My wife loves the music atmosphere in the building, you can also see other customers grooving to the music so they know how to please their customers ears. I love the artwork they have in the back, makes you feel like a NY graffiti alley. I find it very interesting I guess since I'm interested in this type of art. Now for the service, every time we come by we always run into a very nice & sweet lady but we can tell one of the employees does have an attitude from the group. I'm glad we didn't have to deal with her, life is stressing but when you come to work it's best to leave the attitude behind & put your best A game while you're at work. Let's go now with food, I enjoy soul food. It's just some kind of food that gets you stuffed. Makes me feel like I'm enjoying a home cooked meal, their food is delicious. I'm not picky & I don't like down shamming anyone's business. That's not how I roll, I have a business myself & I know I'd dislike someone who understands situations or value of what they do. But, I did have an issue on the temperature of the food. It comes out lukewarm & it's a little disappointing because you're waiting at least 10-15 mins before you get your food. I would atleast appreciate the food being a little warmer. In this order, my wife got oxtails with Mac & Cheese & Fried Okra. She was pleased with her order! I love their cornbread muffin, it has amazing flavors! I got the honey croissant this time with my smoked chicken, it wasn't bad but I guess I was digging the honey on the croissant. Chicken was good, i enjoyed it & the veggies are great. I got steam cabbage, their seasonings were amazing. I also got veggies, they came out great. I absolutely admire their fresh squeezed agave lemonade! It tastes amazing, I recommend anyone to give it a try. I made a sun-joy out of it! I can't complain, their food will get you stuffed for the prices they have going on here. Each plate is around $15.00-24.00.

Because it's not a big menu with a ton of choices, but just enough different types of foods to give something for everyone - whether it's seafood or chicken, pasta, or meatloaf - it's just good food with interesting sauces. We had the grilled chicken sandwich and meatball sub, both tasting each other's and loving them. The only complaint is they seem to close after lunch for a few hours before dinner. If they stayed open continuously, they might get more business because I think the food is just too good for them to not constantly be crowded. The decor is clearly not what you're there for and the seats are just uncomfortable enough to discourage a leisurely meal (read: turn the tables over often); kind of a shame because if they stayed open continuously through dinner, had more comfortable seats, and less rundown looking interior they could actually attract a lot of business and stay very busy. Maybe they should try signing up with GrubHub, DoorDash or UberEats. Then you get to experience their terrific food at home. Looking forward to going back.

It was so good that I ended up going back on another day, about a week later. It was relatively quiet for a weekday lunch hour if you want to compare to other places that are open for lunch hour. That meant to me that the chef who is also the owner probably could spend more time to prepare the dishes ordered. I ordered the fried Oysters Po'Boy with fries and an iced tea. Didn't take too long for the meal to come out. I cut the Po'Boy in half and the Oysters were large. The bread was nice and soft, not hard and crunchy like bread can be for a Po'Boy. Fries were nicely done, not too crisp but not soggy and greasy. Had seasoning sprinkled on them, but not overwhelming. Just right. After I finished my sandwich, I was wondering about dessert and just as I was going to ask, my waiter, Chris came up to the table with the choices of dessert. I wanted something light, so I picked the chocolate pie. It was a good sized piece that came with some whipped cream on the side garnished with a strawberry. Nice and creamy and not overly sweet. Hit the spot! I will be back again because it's got a nice cozy homestyle atmosphere. May have to try the weekend brunch.
