I was in the area on a weekday afternoon, starving, and my Yelp app told me that Steelcraft was nearby. Knowing there would be several eateries to choose from, I headed there and parked in the lot next to it. Once inside the complex, I gravitated to Hangry Belly - my food radar was spot on. They serve exceptionally delicious burgers and loaded fries! I ordered the pastrami burger and a can of root beer. I was given a pager and took a seat at a shaded picnic table. They cook to order but it took a little less than ten minutes. The friendly woman at the counter made sure to give me plenty of napkins as they were definitely needed. The burger was thick and juicy. It was surrounded by a fresh but sturdy potato bun and covered with pieces of tender, flavorful pastrami along with melted American cheese, pickles and Thousand Island dressing. It was greasy (in a deliciously-good way) and sloppy; I absolutely loved every bite. If I lived around here this would certainly be my go-to place for a burger!

The food was good. I got a Philly cheese steak fries. My only gripe is it had some kinda sauce on it. Coulda been their house sauce or thousand island sauce. I'm not a fan of the sauce. It was good but I just wanted a more Philly cheesesteak flavor to my meal. The service was underwhelming. It took forever to get our food but I think that's normal for this place because of the volume of custom items. The ambiance is everything. Family vibe or chill with the homey vibes here. Parking is across the street and not in the lot surrounding it. Oops. Give it a try if you want to try something new/different.

Hangry Belly is definitely food to satisfy your hungry. This awesome burger joint is located in Long Beach's very own Steelcraft open air food hall and is fun in the day sun or night light trendy hot spot. H.B. has a variety of buntastic offerings including vegetarian and vegan offerings. Burgers, Fries, Salads, Wraps and other savory bites. The even have a cool breakfast menu to boot (available 9 to 11am, Thurs-Sunday only) The Green Ting being an instant fav as well as the service. The guy who helped me was amazing! Full disclosure on the dairy based toppings to omit. Definitely one of the best beyond burgers I've had to date and they veganized it instantly (hold the swiss and cilantro aioli). You can add on things like avocado or and extra patty for an even bigger meal. Fries/loaded fries/sides are a little extra, but I'd say worth it to satisfy the hanger. Beverages are bottle or can, but quite a fun variety from root beer to Jarritos, water and other east mellow drinks to sooth your belly. Hangry B also has cool food truck and offerings catering packages as well. Available all seven days in a full week from 11am to 9pm Sunday through Thursday and until 10pm on Fridays as well as Saturdays. Shared parking via their lots of local street. Public transit also runs smoothly and directly by them off Long Beach Blvd. Pop in and tame your Hangry Belly (beast).

Bring your appetite because Hangry Belly has the goods. DoorDash had happy hour discounts, so I picked up the Fire Belly Burger and Crunchy Fries. The fries were exactly how I like and I appreciated the pickled serranos in the burger. The patty is 1/3 lb., which is big, but not overwhelming. Lastly, the service was friendly.

Ok guys, the hype is REAL! I placed an order through Ubereats since Hangry Belly had some BOGO promotions and I was not disappointed! Aside from the great deals, I've seen how popular this establishment has been with locals and Yelpers so I was definitely looking forward to giving this place a shot. I ordered the Fire-Belly Burger and the Pig N' Fries. My burger was really good, I loved the potato bun and also how the chiles in the burger had a nice little kick. The fries definitely tasted good but because I had them delivered they were a bit soggy. I'm sure had I eaten them in person they would've tasted even better. I like how Hangry Belly also offers a variety of sauces. I tried the spicy aioli, cilantro aioli, and the thousand island. All the sauces were delicious and paired nicely with my spicy burger. I recommend this spot to anyone in the area looking for a great craft burger. For those who enjoy spicy food the Fire-Belly Burger is definitely the way to go. Support your local businesses!

Yesterday was hot. Perfect environment for an outdoor lunch break. The brisket fries were "so yummy" as described by my wife and the we be jammin burger went down quick by way of my sister. You won't have to wait long here nor will you be disappointed

This place was pretty good. I heard of it from friends who typically come to the steel craft location for food and drinks. The staff seemed friendly and were super helped with me being my first time. I tried their burger, fries and wings and were all delicious. The location was pretty cool, if for some reason you don't like the food at one location you can grab food at another location. I would definitely want to go back to try another burger or deferent style of fries.

I didn't realize this place was in the Steel Craft on Long Beach Blvd. The burgers and fries were delicious. We received great service with a smile and to top off the evening there was a DJ playing some nice tunes.

Great experience at Hangry Belly! Not too crowded on a Tuesday for lunch so plenty of seating on a sunny afternoon. We ordered the fire belly and hangry fit burgers as lettuce wraps, plus french fries. Both burgers were really and nicely wrapped! The spicy belly had a good kick and the hangry fit had good flavor for a turkey burger. They use to have really good tater tots so a little sad those are gone but their fries were nice and crispy! We also ordered ranch, which cost extra, but was good quality. Overall enjoyed our lunch here!

My husband and I went to Hangry Belly on a Friday night around 6pm. Wasn't too busy! We got the Fire Belly Burger and We Be Jammin' burger to try along with our complimentary Hangry Fries. I liked both burgers but the We Be Jammin' one a bit more. Hangry Fries were delish! Like a gourmet in n out animal fries! Yum! The only downside was it took about 30min for us to get our food. The fries were plenty big for two people though!

chez burger: green leaf, tomato, thousand island, american cheese, red onion, 1/2lb beef patty on a potato bun = $10
    Trung N.

The dining options at Steelcraft are pretty straightforward: pizza, Mexican, and Hangry Belly is where you go if you just want a regular ole burger and fries. I ordered the Chez Burger ($10). It's a 1/2 pound beef patty topped with lettuce, tomato, red onion, Thousand Island and American cheese. I was hoping for/expecting thinly sliced red onions. Instead, my burger came with a thick ole slice of slice of white onion which pretty much dominated the taste of the burger. The beef patty was a little lacking as were the sad, sad buns that held everything together. For my fried potato choice, I opted for the Philly cheese fries which, I believe, was a special. Unlike the burger which was doing too little, I felt like the fries were doing too much. I should have stuck to the bacon fries instead. Hangry Belly is an okay place if you're in the mood for a burger. Hopefully your order is more balanced than mine.

Came in with a small group early on a Wednesday afternoon maybe an hour before closing, and most of the tables were still filled with diners. We were seated right away in the way way back of the restaurant. The layout and decor of the place gives it a classic, borderline kitschy vibe. You can tell it's a place that's managed to hold its own for like 60 years (!!!). The server was friendly, overall service was prompt, and the portions were solid. I got the quiche of the day, which was ham and cheese, and it was amazing. It came with a side (salad was fresh and crisp) and a muffin -- their raspberry streusel muffin was so delicious and a perfect dessert to tie the meal together. I would definitely get this special again, and look forward to trying their other versions of both quiches and muffins. Others at my table got strawberry pancakes, a pastrami sandwich, and chicken fried steak. All food was devoured, so I take it that it was good. However, I really think that the baked goods make this place. So if you go, don't skip out on those.

From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with bright natural light pouring through the windows, a lively yet welcoming vibe, and a layout that works for everyone--whether you're in a big group, a small party, or grabbing a seat at the central bar. Every detail makes the space feel inviting. And then there's the food... Chilaquiles - Incredibly satisfying and generously portioned. The flavors were exactly what you'd hope for, and the crispy potatoes blended perfectly with the chilaquiles. If you're a fan of this dish, this is a must-order. **Biscuit Skillet** - My personal favorite. Easily big enough to share, though you might not want to. The biscuits were next-level--fluffy, rich, and comforting, with the perfect balance of crispy edges and soft, moist centers. Topped with hearty gravy, bacon, cheese, and eggs, they absolutely did not hold back. Every bite felt indulgent in the best way. Cinnamon Roll Pancake - A standout, especially if you're not big on overly sweet dishes. It has the essence of a cinnamon roll without being overpowering--light, fluffy, and perfectly balanced. The topping (a cinnamon crumb-style finish) and sauce added just enough sweetness that syrup wasn't even necessary. Buffalo Flatbread - A pleasant surprise. The flatbread itself was thin and nicely crisp, just as it should be. Loaded with cheese (fair warning: it's generous), and topped with tender, juicy buffalo chicken, it brought great flavor and texture to the table. **Mac & Cheese** - This one exceeded expectations. Creamy, rich, and perfectly cooked, it was a hit with everyone--especially the kids. Don't be fooled by the portion size; it easily fed four people with leftovers to spare. Definitely one of the highlights. Kids Pancake- Always a good test: a picky eater approved. My child cleaned the plate and even asked for more mac & cheese afterward--that says everything. Avocado Toast- Simple but done exceptionally well. The toast was massive, topped with fresh, flavorful avocado, veggies, and a perfectly cooked egg. Every bite felt fresh and balanced. Overall- Absolutely worth the visit. We had about an hour wait for a party of five, so arriving early is a good idea--but even with the wait, it was completely worth it. The food came out together, everything was consistently delicious, and it's definitely a place I'd come back to--especially for that mac & cheese.

Cornbread was very good. First time for sweet potato pie, not a big fan of sweet potato fries, but but as a pie good stuff. First time going that felt very welcomed we totally recommend. Seat inside was limited, but I took my food to go, but it was clean.

I had a friend recommend this spot and had to immediately come check it out. I had been craving…read moreThai food and there aren't many options over on my neck of the woods so we made the drive to Long Beach. Upon arriving, we were greeted and asked to sit to wait for a table. It was busy but not crowded. The waitress handed us menus to look at while we waited for a table which was a nice gesture and allowed us to be ready when seated. It took less than 10 min to get seated. Once seated, they were fairly quick to come and take our order. We ordered: 1. Satay chicken 2. Yellow Curry with Chicken 3. Beef Pad See Ew and 4. Shrimp Pad Thai Everything was absolutely amazing! I could eat yellow curry for the rest of my life and this was one of the best ones I've had. We did get a red Eden cocktail and a beer. The cocktail was good! Not too sweet or strong. Service was great, too! Friendly and very attentive. The restaurant itself is very clean and the decor is very demure haha it's cute and spacious. Very welcoming! This is such a hidden gem! I'm so happy we decided to try this place out. We will definitely be back!! Worth the drive!!

KIN Thai Cuisine in Long Beach off Broadway is a really solid spot…read more Parking is available, but it is limited, so just keep that in mind depending on the time you go. The restaurant itself is nice and clean, including the restrooms, which I always appreciate. The staff was very customer service oriented and did a great job making suggestions and giving tips about the menu and spice levels, which was super helpful. I started with the Money Bags, which are basically fried dumplings. Mine were a little overcooked, almost close to burnt. They still had decent flavor, but I'd personally rate them about a 2.9 out of 5. I also had the green papaya salad with mild spice, and the spice level was perfect, especially for people who are sensitive to heat. I usually stick around medium spice at Thai restaurants, but even the mild here still gives you a nice kick. For my drink, I got the Thai tea, which came topped with a Thai tea popsicle that slowly melted into the drink. Such a cute touch, creative, and tasty. For my entrée, I had the basil garlic sauce with sliced steak and a side of rice, which I really enjoyed. For dessert, we shared the mango sticky rice. It was good, but I do feel like it was a little overpriced for the portion size. Maybe part of that is because of the specialty rice they use that has the purple hue. I know a few places in Long Beach where you can get more for the same price. That said, the presentation was really cute with the flower garnish and everything looked beautiful. The atmosphere was nice. It has an open kitchen concept, so you can actually see the cooking happening, which adds to the experience. Seating is somewhat limited and the tables are fairly close together in certain sections, especially where the divider walls are, so you can definitely hear nearby conversations depending on where you sit. Great food, clean restaurant, and strong customer service. I'd definitely come back. Flavor Profile (for reference): Umami-forward (savory, salty depth) Acidic or bright (tangy + sour) Pungent and intense (spicy and bitter notes) Drink Preference (for reference): Bitter-forward cocktails Balanced acidity Light sweetness only, not overly sugary
