We stopped here after my son had an away game in the area and wanted soul food. Every single employee we interacted with went above and beyond. They treated us like family and asked my son about his football game. The food was amazing. I ordered the short ribs with yams and Mac n cheese, and my son ordered oxtails, cabbage, and Mac n cheese. The Mac n cheese was a bit too salty for me but my son said it was the best Mac n cheese he's ever had. Everything was really good but the yams were easily my favorite. I have eaten the same lip smacking, finger licking, tender, well-seasoned meal of Turkey Wings; smothered in gravy, sitting on top of a mound of dressing with two heaping sides of choice.
