The food here is elegant and delicious! The atmosphere is both intimate and communal, with either separate tables or seats up at the sushi bar where they prepare the food (kind of like a hibachi style eatery). You can have a conversation or watch the chefs at work. They place each roll in front of you as soon as it's made, so it paces your dining experience for you, if you'd like. We loved every item we selected! If we had room left, we could have ordered dessert. But that will have to wait until next time!

A hidden gem! I actually like the fact that it's not located in La Centera because parking is better. Anyway, we were greeted and seated promptly. Be sure to try the original cocktails. Service was prompt and our sushi was prepared on the cutting board in front of us. A wonderful personal experience. Quiet ambiance. Cozy and first class. Loved it!

Wow, one of the creamiest hand rolls I've ever had! There's something about the handle that made us so creamy part of having avocado inside. The Crudo here had an interesting take since I had a more solid sauce/paste to it. Overall, I highly recommend and would come back.

My son frequently eats sushi at Tobiuo's and I have grown to love it. We heard good things from our neighbor about this place and had to come try it for ourselves. The ambiance was modern and the lighting was perfect for an evening setting. All I can say is WOW.... the fish was fresh and we had an amazing evening. The young man behind the sushi bar was trying his hardest to serve me more simple dishes because I am quite picky toward raw fish. I forgot his name but he is the reason I am taking the time to write a review. The price was on the higher side, which is to be expected in a higher-end sushi restaurant but felt reasonable overall. This will not be our last time dining here. There is not much activity in this shopping center and seemed to be the only thing open during the evening hours. This made parking easy because we are always having trouble finding a spot in La Centera. Thanks to all of the staff for making our dinner one to remember!

Tried pretty much all parts of the menu. Don't let the lack of reviews keep you from trying this place out. Service was good and personalabble. The atmosphere was quiet but not boring . Food spoke for itself . 10/10 recommend the spice yellow tell hand roll .

Tried this new handroll place down in cinco ranch and enjoyed the quality and service! Nice to have a handroll joint in this side of town

I was very satisfied with my experience here. I would actually choose this restaurant over Hando and Handies due to the fact that they have a larger selection of hand rolls appetizers, and small plates. Their seaweed is nice and crispy and the staff is also very friendly. Great spot if you're in the Katy area.

This is some of the freshest sushi I've had in Katy. Technically they don't have sushi. Appetizers, Shashimi, and hand rolls. The menu is a little limited, but they knock it out of the park on what they have. The flavors are incredible. The service is great and it is the coolest place I've been in Katy. The Ambiance is awesome.

Tried this new neighborhood gem. Sushi was very fresh, flavors unique, and presentation beautiful. The decor in the place was nice and simple like in Japan. We tried different crudos, handrolls and nigiiri. Service was excellent as well. Will definitely come back.

OMG soooo good! I have no words to express how good the hand rolls are here. We had the 5 Handroll set and it was well worth getting to the Fatty Tuna roll. If you love wasabi, highly recommend you try it. The Japanese Old Fashions were on point. Definitely coming back. We drove in from downtown Houston. Sorry I didn't get pics of the hand rolls, they were too good

My husband ordered the Old Fashioned, which was also very well done. We shared the fudge brownie for dessert and it was rich, moist, and elevated with just the right hint of espresso. The atmosphere is comfortable and versatile. It works just as well for a date night as it does for a girls night or a casual meet-up with a friend. 10 out of 10. We were in Fulshear and wanted to try something different that we don't have near us, so we decided to give it a shot. The restaurant itself is beautiful on the outside with an inside that has a modern, open design. You come in and seat yourself, and while there were several tables available, the restaurant definitely wasn't empty. There were people dining in the back room and out on the porch. It was a gorgeous day, but we opted for the AC. Service wasn't terrible, but it also wasn't especially attentive. It took a while for someone to come by with menus, and throughout the meal things just seemed to move slowly despite the restaurant not appearing understaffed. I don't mind a relaxed pace, but I also don't want to spend my entire afternoon sitting indoors at some random restaurant waiting around. We started with chips and queso. The chips were decent, but the queso was extremely thin and soupy--more like cheese soup than queso--thus definitely not worth the $10 price tag. Unless you love soupy queso. Then maybe it's definitely worth the $10 to you. For lunch, my brother and mom ordered The Local Burger with Fries and added avocado, my friend ordered the Beef Tenderloin Steak Wrap with Chips, and I tried the Spicy Buffalo Pizza because honestly, every menu starts looking the same after a while, and I wanted something different. Unfortunately, there were several issues with our order. Everyone's food arrived but my brother's because our server somehow assumed mom and he were sharing one burger since they ordered the same thing. They also forgot the avocado add-on for both burgers. Mom gave my brother her basket, and they shared the burger until his came, which was about 10 to 15 minutes later. Mom liked the fries because they came out hot and weren't overly salted, but neither she nor my brother really raved about the burgers. I think by then they forgot they asked for avocado, and we weren't charged for it, but that's kind of annoying to ask for something and nothing is said...they just quietly make sure not to charge you for it. The Spicy Buffalo Pizza was probably the biggest disappointment for me. I expected a more traditional buffalo chicken pizza, but instead it was kind of a layered, heavily drizzled mess that didn't really work together. The crust also appeared to be some sort of cornmeal-style crust that wasn't my favorite and didn't hold up well under the weight of the toppings. It was the kind of slice you knew would end up on you rather than in you, so I was really careful to make sure it hit the pizza board and not me. I ended up boxing most of it for my housemate. Mark wanted dessert, and they have something called "The Spot Ice Cream Sandwich," which is a brownie or assorted cookie with vanilla ice cream and toppings. Mom asked whether he could simply order the brownie by itself, and our server Victor said he would ask, but we never actually got an answer. One thing that really annoys me at restaurants is charging $4 for fountain drinks and then not keeping them refilled. Victor did eventually ask about refills, but by then the meal was basically over. Overall, this place wasn't bad, but it also wasn't great. The atmosphere and design are probably the strongest part of the experience. I wouldn't necessarily avoid it, but I also wouldn't go out of my way to come back. What made lunch even funnier is that next door at Cross Creek Ranch, there's a hanging sign advertising an "observation deck." We had debated going before lunch but decided to eat first and then check it out afterward. Much like the restaurant itself, the concept sounded far more impressive than the actual experience. There really wasn't much to observe. I just found it amusing that both experiences ended up being equally mediocre.

The ahi tuna wasn't the best. It wasn't fresh and the feta cheese was a bit too overwhelming. As for the spinach and artichoke dip, I felt like it was okay. Didn't really like the tomatoes as it made the dip runny and hinder the taste from the star ingredients of the dish. The smoked gouda burger was the best. The meat was cooked perfectly and the amount for each ingredients were given generously. I also really loved how you really can taste the smokiness from the bite. As for the pasta, I thought that it was good but not the best. It was starting to get a bit heavy with the amount of cheese and I do wish the cajun flavor could be a bit stronger. The chicken was also on the dry side but it's still pretty decent. Overall, this place is okay. Great service can elevate a dining experience, and this team absolutely delivered. Now for the sushi, and wow! You can tell there's real craftsmanship behind every roll that comes out of the kitchen. Each roll was beautifully presented, packed with fresh ingredients, and thoughtfully balanced in flavor. Too often sushi restaurants focus on appearance or oversized specialty rolls, but here the flavors were just as impressive as the presentation. Every bite felt intentional, with textures and ingredients working together perfectly. One unexpected highlight of the evening was trying rice beer for the first time. I'll admit I wasn't sure what to expect, but it ended up being one of my favorite discoveries of the night. It was crisp, refreshing, and paired exceptionally well with the sushi.
