Ribeye skewer

This is a hidden gem! Such a cozy and comforting spot, with some of the best food around at reasonable prices. We had the ribeye skewers, spicy edamame, chicken karage, and aji tonkotsu - all were phenomenal! we forgot to take pics, everything smelled too good to stop for pics. The chicken karage was juicy unlike most spots we have tried. Hospitality and atmosphere is a 10/10.

I think I've lost count of how many times I've ordered from here lol I love the ramen my two fav are the tan tan and chicken skewers with the spicy miso! Literally my favorite. Also definitely recommend trying out the appetizers!

Had a good lunch on one of the weekends. I had the chicken skewer ramen which I thought was good and had a lot of ingredients. However, the chicken skewer as a little too grilled/burnt for me. We also had the purple yam cake and sweet potato tempura. I really like the purple yam cake, but the sweet potato tempura was a so so for me. It was not the orange sweet potato tempura that other restaurants serve, and it was also kind of hard so it was a bit difficult to chew. My mom had the Aji Tonkotsu, and she really enjoyed it. Staff was really nice and the restaurant is small but cute. Overall, it was a nice meal and I would like to visit again for the ramen.

S/o to Yelp for this find! 9/10! A gem if ya ask me :) Food: Tan Tan Ramen-- 8/10, if probably enjoy it more without the protein lol it was a little too much for me but the broth was A1! Egg Roll-- 10/10! Tasted extremely authentic & fresh omg. Chicken Karaage-- 10/10! The sauce they used was tooooooo good! I used the leftover to dip my egg roll in it and it paired perfectly. Gyoza-- 7/10, it was straight, I've had better. Drinks: Sake Bomb Special -- $2.95 Went on a random Wednesday around 8 o'clock and within 30 minutes there was no more seating. I'll definitely be back, they were too good!!! IG: @eatgoodtx Tiktok: @abidaremii

We used to drive to Spring to eat at their restaurant there. I'm so glad they opened one in Katy! My daughter is a picky eater and she likes their tonkotsu kid's ramen. My husband gets the spicy miso with chicken skewer and I get the tonkotsu ramen. I usually order a sweet potato tempura too. It is nothing fancy, but I like it as an appetizer. The spicy mayo that it comes with has a nice kick to it. Service is fast and nice. No complaints here, but we usually eat early and their is never a wait. I'm not sure how it is at peek hours.

So good. Did not disappoint. We started off with the sweet chili chicken karaage and gyoza. Both were so amazing we didn't get a photo. My husband had the Aji Tonkotsu Ramen, and I had the Tan Tan Ramen. Both were delicious. However, we both preferred the Tan Tan ramen which I got without corn. It was slightly spicy and so good. Our waiter's name was Jackie. He was very knowledgeable and helpful and recommended some things to us since it was our first time. We will definitely be back.

Above average spot for ramen in Katy. I came by with my friend a few months ago on a rainy day (AKA perfect ramen weather), and we had a really good time. As our appetizer we shared the edamame, and I really liked it, especially the sauce on top. I ordered the tonkotsu for my entree and enjoyed that as well. While there wasn't anything crazy unique about the tonkotsu here, it was a solid bowl of ramen. I did appreciate how they added a good amount of veggies. In the future, I might try another bowl to see how it compares and if the flavor stands out more.

Great find. Ramen was rich. Noodles was al dente. Lamb chops tasted a little burnt and had no flavor with the sauce. Scallops was piping hot. Service was rapid and swift. Nice Japanese decor inside. Lot of selctions. Overall excellent place if around the area.

This meal was exactly what I needed. That sweet chili chicken Karaage was phenomenal. My servers were nice and fun to chat with as well.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated, and the servers are friendly and helpful. We stopped by for an early dinner on a Saturday evening, so the restaurant wasn't yet busy when we got there but started to fill up as we ate. There are so many different ramen options and toppings to choose from. You can choose to get the low sodium option for all the ramen if you prefer, and they also have free unsalted ramen broth refill. They also have other dishes besides ramen, and you can also customize any existing dishes with other toppings as you'd like. I got the Garlic Tonkotsu Shoyu ramen with spinach and corn, and my boyfriend got the Spicy Ramen. Both broths were so rich and flavorful. They were both slightly salty, so we also got the clear broth refill which made them just right. The ramen had a perfect chew, and the toppings were flavorful and delicious. I usually don't like bamboo toppings in ramen because of the ammonia smell, but I tried some bamboo from the Spicy Ramen that my boyfriend got, and it had no strong bamboo smells at all. I was so impressed. I also ordered the Japanese curry with chicken kaarage to-go, and they were also really tasty. I will definitely be back to Kizuki for more in the future.

I came for lunch on a Saturday and it was super busy so the service was a bit slow. It took a while for our water and for our server to come and take our order. I ordered the Lunch Special Nigiri Sushi and Noodle Set and got 6 pieces of salmon nigiri with udon noodle soup. The salmon nigiri was fresh and buttery and so delicious! The serving size of the udon was a lot bigger than I anticipated so I feel like I got my money's worth. I definitely recommend coming for the lunch specials since they're good value.

After being seated, I informed the waiter that I would place a to-go order instead. About 20 minutes later, our food was ready. At that point, our daughter woke up, so we hoped to continue dining in as originally planned. I politely asked the waiter if we could finish our meal there. We didn't expect him to continue serving us--we simply wanted to sit and eat the food we had ordered. I had already tipped him on the to-go order. His response was blunt and shocking: "No, you have to leave. The table was given to someone else for a 7:30 reservation." There was no attempt to find a solution or offer an alternative--just a direct order to leave. This was a Thursday night, the restaurant was not busy, and there were outdoor tables and other seating available. We felt incredibly insulted by the attitude. When we spoke to the manager, he simply repeated that the table was reserved and backed up the waiter, without suggesting another table or even asking us to wait for the next available one, until we brought up the point that he could have asked if we have an option to wait for the next table?? Then the manager went ok do you want to have another table just because we asked. What stood out most wasn't the reservation issue, but the complete lack of hospitality, flexibility, or basic courtesy. This experience spoke volumes about the customer service here, and unfortunately, it's the reason we won't be returning.

Opted for the salmon trio sashimi, tontoro skewers, and one of their new appetizers, the yuzu ageimoono (?). The taro potato balls were delicious, smooth with a nice light crispy shell covered in a salty, light yuzu dressing. The tontoro was delicious, well roasted, not too fatty, and tender. The salmon trio was also great, coming with king salmon, regular salmon, and smoked salmon. To be honest, I could tell there was a difference between the king and regular salmon, but I couldn't really tell which one was which. I also had a bite of my friend's tantanmen, which was basically like the Japanese version of dandan noodles and it was delicious, great nutty flavor with a touch of spice. It has a pretty nice menu. While it is a touch higher in price point, it is pretty reasonable for Houston. The quality is pretty equivalent to what I had in Japan, although as expected, more expensive. Will definitely need to be back to try their other items!
