Chicken Broth Pho and Strawberry Bubble Tea
    Kylie G.

First, the service was just OK. You have to walk downstairs to get your food regardless of if you're eating to stay. They also only have one set of sauces so if it's on someone else's table you basically have to interrupt their dining experience. The soup was a little too cold for me. I like hot soup. It got cold really fast. Chicken had amazing flavor. Soup was missing some flavor. The boba was really good. The boba and flavor of the chicken saved this restaurant from getting a two.

I drive 1 hour and 45 min just to get a cup of bubble tea . The customer service is unbeatable and i been going for 8 years and it's nothing in Brooklyn that make me More happy this place make Brooklyn my first love . If u don't stop for the bubble tea then try the vegetarian pork sandwich it's to die for just kiss the chef for me.

The food is always great here when I've ordered. I usually come for the sardine sandwich or a bubble tea. Today I tried the green apple, it was good not a strong apple taste tho. The service was fast and good. The space is relaxed and casual. It was pretty quiet this evening. I enjoyed my meal very much.

Ordered beef pho , and the soup is tasteless , seems like they just put water with noodles. I used to go to the other location a lot and would consider walking a little more to the other location better. The restaurants ac is not strong enough, it's very hot. Service was acceptable

    Beef Pho Toppings

Wow! The beef pho ($12.75) was actually good.On my first bite, the reminiscent smell of noodles, jalapenos, bean sprouts, beef, tendons, and the comforting soup hit me. I have had cravings for this all week hahaha. I want to try other pho places in Manhattan or Park Slope as that is where they seem to be gathered. The only thing would be that the soup could be stronger as well as being hotter. Overall, a good place to start for decent pho.

    Lychee Bubble Tea

I came back to try the food and their pho is okay. The broth isn't very flavorful. But it's nice on a cold day, the service is alway super nice, and the food comes out quickly so it's convenient on my shorter lunch breaks.

Classic bahn mi and thai bubble tea
    Ricky Z.

While the location is great and the unique layout adds to the appeal of the restaurant, I was not really impressed with my classic bahn mi. The meats did not seem super high quality, the veggies not very crisp or flavorful, and the bread was not very toasted. However, the thai bubble tea I had was very good and a decent value. You could see the boba being freshly made behind the counter and was clearly fresh. Would definitely recommend for the bubble tea, pass on the sandwiches if you stop in

Fly in the Rice Vermicelli Salad
    Parker O.

I've come here for many years, but finding a dead fly in the salad was too much. No response after contacting via email, and when reaching out on the phone the employee flatly said "what do you want me to do?". Seriously? Disgusting and somehow the response from the employee left a worst taste in my mouth than the fly would have.

We had Hanco's for lunch and got a grilled chicken sandwich and rice bowl. The chicken was very rubbery and seemed like it was microwaved.

Pho is lousy and also $15 for a fairly small bowl. Weird that the protein comes to you cold on separate plate. Noodles are overdone.

The service was okay - it was obvious the server was brand new/still in training so I'm sure he'll get better and congrats to him on the new job! Btw, in case you were wondering this place is NOT Vietnamese-owned, or at least the server + the host + some workers in the back were not, or perhaps they're trilingual. In any case, I was a little sad about that because there really is a lack of good Viet food in NY so although other ethnicities are more than welcome to own places not of their own ethnicities, I was just hoping to find more Viet-owned Viet food businesses. That being said, I got pho bo vien (which I suppose now I know why there's no Vietnamese text on the menu... so this is the viet meatball pho??) and it was okay. Nothing bad, nothing special, probably a bit too pricey for what you get. I was hoping for some comfort food since this location is nearby. The broth was overall fine after adding some hoisin sauce and Sriracha. Unsure if I'll come again... the convenient location for me is probably the main selling point

Definitely get the lychee if you are unsure as that is what the worker recommended when i asked. The dumplings were small but yummy with their homemade sauce. I wish they were bigger but no other complaints. The bahn mi's were delicious i got the prok and the flavoring were juicy with their homemade sauce pickled carrots and cucumbers slices balancing it out. The bread was so crispy i throughly enjoyed. The baguette was perfectly crisp on the outside while staying light enough to bite through. Every ingredient tasted incredibly fresh and flavorful, the fillings were generous, and the pate added so much rich, savory flavor. I also loved that they chop up the cilantro, so you're not spending a whole minute trying to chew through the stems. Everything was packed together so well that the sandwich held its shape from the first bite to the last without falling apart. The inside feels like a classic Asian bakery, with shelves lined with snacks and baked goods to-go. This is the kind of bánh mì that reminds you why it's such a classic: simple and balanced perfectly. Definitely a spot I'll come back to.
