So I don't think I'll be going back. I always get gel polish and for some reason they tend to peel off. I never complained about it but this last time was my final draw. I got my normal fill with gel polish and my gel peeled off the next day. I went back to her the following Monday and she told me it was because the polish was too thick. So she redid all my nails. It hasn't been four days and the gel polish peeled off again! I never experienced this with gel polish before. I was able to remove the gel off my other nails without using any tools just the corner of my nail removed it all. I am not the only one who complained to Hannah about the polish peeling off. A friend of mine's and her mother went through the same thing. Hannah told my friends mother that she's blind, she didn't see any chips, when you clearly can see it was coming off. To get gel is an extra $10 and I doesn't last 2weeks. I don't know if she putting something in the gel to stretch the color or if she's not curing the polish long enough. (I make wigs and sell hair for a living so it's not like I'm hard on my hands) read more

Came here based on reviews. Not the case for me! The shop is a hole-in-the-wall type of salon. Besides me, there was another client (a regular) which was unhappy with her airbrush white tips because Hanah missed an entire area on her nail. I asked Hanah for coffin shaped nails & her shaping is terrible!! I asked her to touch up a couple nails & she continued to tell me "that's how suppose to be." My nail color came out a different shade then on the nail color samples. She pretended to act like she didn't notice. I couldn't leave any faster. I do not recommend this salon at all! If I could do no stars, I would. A couple weeks ago my friend decided to give Hannah's a try and the outcome was less than satisfactory. The owner did her acrylic set and was very nice but my friend just wasn't pleased with her set, after having the owner fix the things she wasn't happy with, she still paid. When she had gotten home, she wrote a review stating her experience and to her surprise, the owner contacted her by calling and texting her saying that because they are the same race, they should take care of one another and not leave bad reviews. I saw the review and it wasn't bad at all. Long story short, she kept harassing my friend with text messages until my friend blocked her. I came in recently to try out Hannah's myself to see if maybe my friend had just came in on a bad day and got a bad service, but I too did not have a good experience. I asked for stiletto medium length full set and my nails ended up wide almond shape. I told the tech I was not happy and she tried to fix it, but it still was not what I asked for. read more

I've only been to Hanah's salon once (I've been looking for a new one - my old salon had a girl who could do ingrown toenails, but she was absent half the time). Hanah did a very thorough job on my toenails, they look very nice and don't hurt. However, and this is a big deal, she does not take credit cards. I don't carry cash - haven't for years, and i'm not going to search for an ATM every time I visit a salon. Yelp is saying she does, but when I gave her my card, she made such a fuss: "I don't take cards; i get charged $1 for every transaction; don't you have cash on you? OK, i'll let you charge it this time, but bring cash next time." So, she has a card reader, but doesn't use it? One star off for the whining, and I probably won't be back. read more

Worst experience ever. I showed her a picture of what I wanted. Simple matte black and gold tip. I understand that they didn't have the matt gold polish for the tip so we settled for glitter. The end result?! Black goopy layers of polish and a gold goopy tip. At the end she says, $5 extra for the matte and $3 extra for gold tip. Never mentioned that when she started. I paid $43 for that goopy mess and I didn't want to fight. I stepped out and took another look at my nails and was pissed. It was horrendous. I walked back in. She knew right away and told me she'll fix it. She knew it looked horrible. I just told her to take off what she's done and just picked basic red polish. She messed that up too. At this point, I just wanted to leave. I had been there for over an hour and I was done. Filing is messed up. My one thumb nail was cut shorter than the other. Came in and was sat right away. Atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. I wasn't too impressed with the out come of my geo polish though. The polish itself started cracking and when shown to the tech she tried to fix it. The owner herself kept saying it was fine but even my boyfriend could see the polish was all cracked up. The tech removed it twice and then realized the gel polish itself was old and finally got a new bottle from the owner. I would just say to look at your nails more then once after their done because if their using an older gel polish it will not be smooth. Working in customer service for almost 10 years, I KNOW HOW IT IS.. but the way she treated me was not acceptable... Went to get my nails done Monday afternoon with time constraints. The plan was a mani pedi with a full set, but I didn't know if I had enough time. I told her & she began to rush on my nails. But I continued to let her do my nails, & once she began to file them down, they were lumpy & uneven. At some point, I politely told her to take them off because I asked her to fix them & she ignored me. Once I did this, she pretty much threw a tantrum & told me I had to leave w the Acrylic on my nails & told me she didn't have time to take them off, even though she told me the amount of time she kept for my nails & we were only 30mins in... So I talked her down & ask her if she could take the acrylic off & at the end of everything, she barely soaked them off & she charged me $20 for her time. I understood, but I'm NEVER going back here.
