This was one of the best Chinese food I've had in USA. All dishes are very tasty and flavorful. I've had Chinese food in China and some were not good so I wouldn't say this or that was authentic but if you like spicy Chinese food, you are in for the treat! I rarely find a place for good eggplant dish and Han Dynasty does excellent job. I don't even like Eggplant. Get garlic eggplant or something like that.. All beef, lamb and seafood dishes were excellent. So pick anything you like. Highly recommended. read more

This place is amazing every time. My only thought is it is better with more people because you can try more dishes hahaha. The last time I went to this place, I went with 2 good friends and we had a veggie dish, that unfortunately probably would have been very good in other circumstances. However, we tasted it after having the "water cooked fish", which is one of their specialities and the coconut shrimp. Both these dishes totally knocked our socks clean off. The fish was delicate and very spicy (we asked for low spice hahaha); we had decided to try it despite the fact that it was spicy. The results: let's just say we planned to have it every time we go back before we had left the restaurant. The coconut/ mayonaisse sauce on the shrimp was sweet and flavorful. I have to admit that despite being Chinese, I do love this more Americanized dish. The candied walnuts are delicious and a perfect accent to this dish. Tonight I went again with 3 other friends. We had the same 2 dishes mentioned above (minus the veggie dish), and they were still as amazing as before. Not sure if my friends enjoyed the coconut shrimp dish as much as I did, but oh well, what can I say? More for me!!! hahaha We also ordered an eggplant dish, which was delicious. We also had the beef scallion dish which was deliciously seasoned and cooked as well. I think the "water cooked fish" dish was still the hit of the evening. This place has never disappointed. I have the distinction of having my sister and brother-in-law be the only people ever to have their wedding banquet here. It was amazing and widely hailed. This was the Chinese food that I have been craving for a long time :-) Exton, oh Exton, how I love you so much more than my own hometown, almost solely because you have a Han Dynasty, one of its original (or original) locations, I may add! I think that it is fair to say that all of the food is worth trying. And don't worry because there is plenty of rice to simmer down your super hot mouth! I have yet to have soup at any Han Dynasty, though it sounds intuitive to have something like that during the meal -- haha, unless the soup is super RED in color! I even ate in one of the private rooms, and so you know what that meant -- more plates of food to pass around! read more

We have wanted to go to Han Dynasty since we first learned about the premise: offer the Americanized version of Chinese 'cuisine' like every other takeout place, juxtaposed against five times as many "traditional" choices. The Royersford location is closer to us but we were starving in Exton on a Friday night and every place was packed which is really the craziest part of the review because Han was less than half full and ultimately so much more satisfying than all of the chains with the 45 minute waits. We had actually sworn off Chinese food in lieu of great Thai and Indian spots near us, because the food is so bland, unhealthy and the places almost all seem less than immaculate. Han Dynasty in Exton could improve the atmosphere, but you can overlook a lot with food this good. You must order from the traditional menu and experience so much more complexity and flavor than any other suburban choice in any category. All you really need to know about Han Dynasty is that half of the patrons are Chinese. Have you every seen a Chinese customer at your local Chinese, strip mall take out? As an appetizer we ordered Shredded Pork with Mushroom Soup which was a great diversion from Americanized wonton, egg drop or hot & sour (which I could live on if prepared correctly). This soup however was extremely flavorful utilizing few ingredients indicating that simple creativity is paramount to the chef that created this interesting menu. For entrees we shared (portions are ample) flounder in dry pot, three cup chicken and salted fish fried rice. All three were excellent but the flounder, sauteed tableside in a super spicy chili oil, was incredible. My buzzing tongue and I were still recalling it fondly the next day. The traditional ingredients that comprised this sautee all complimented the fish and were like nothing you get in any Americanized mixture. Bell peppers, dacon and several unique mushrooms were all zinged with chili and Chinese peppercorns and made the fish dish the best I have ever eaten at a suburban strip mall- hands down. My wife raved about the three cup chicken so we asked our waiter, who might have been a little smoother and a little more attentive, about the name. It arrives to the table in a small cast iron pot which it has apparently cooked in with three cups of three different sauces- wine, soy and sesame... I guess we would know this as it's a pretty common traditional dish but we have been deprived for so long. It's safe to say that we will never order from another Americanized Chinese place and will frequent all three Han Dynasty locations whenever possible. A question though- Why hasn't Indian, Thai, Japanese or Korean food become Americanized? read more

You know I have a policy--If you have nothing good to say about something, say nothing at all. Well I think that other people feel the same way and that is why you don't see any honest and straight forward reviews about this restaurant. I specifically came to eat here based on the recommendations on Yelp. We walked in and were seated promptly, only to find that we had to call the waitress over to finally take our order. Mind you this was after 1:pm and the restaurant was almost empty after the lunch crowd. The wonton soup had 2 small dumplings with some chicken stock consommé. Can you picture it? A bowl of clear chicken stock--with NOTHING in it but two dumpling wontons. I was flabbergasted. Yes that is the exact word I used when I looked up at my friend when the soup was delivered. And as for the steamed dumplings that someone on Yelp recommended? Oh give me a break. You do get about 8 pieces of a tasteless, chewy pasta . The dough was made so thick that it was hard to cut through with a fork, let alone with your teeth. The only redeeming quality it has was the meat filling was tasty. The Szechwan chicken was ok, but the sauce had congealed by the time it was served. The wait staff are very pleasant, but we had to ask for water refills and finally the check. I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK, And I am pressed to give it even 1 star. Try Green Papaya on Lancaster Avenue instead. That is where I would normally go, but I wanted to try something new. Sigh. Han Dynasty is an absolutely fabulous Chinese restaurant hidden in a very inconspicuous strip mall. We drove by this place one week-night when it had first opened on a hunch, before it was rated one of the best restaurants in Philly, and it was full of Chinese people. There is one good rule I follow to judge whether a particular restaurant of a specific cusine (whether it's Indian, Chinese, etc) is any good, and that is the number of the customers eating there of that particular national origin. So on that note, we decided to give it a try. It is a BOYB (unless it's changed recently) so you can bring a nice bottle of wine with you to enjoy your food. The decor is nothing spectacular (not a great first date type of place) but the food will blow you away. The Hunan Style Triple delight is something I highly recommend and get almost every time, although most things on the menu are very good and well prepared. A word from the wise, don't get into the authentic Chinese dishes unless you have had them before or are feeling adventurous. I've let Han pick my food a couple of times and I was a little disappointed to be honest. The dishes were lovely but just not what I prefer personally. Again, I would recommend to only get these dishes if you are a fan of authentic Chinese. The waiters are all very friendly. Han does his absolute best to make sure you feel welcome and have a great time. Most waiters speak very poor English but they usually repeat your order and every time I've been there it's been great. You usually don't need a reservation on weeknights but on Friday-Saturday it may not be a bad idea. Additionally, it's also a great place to take out from! The portions are very generous and the prices are very fair. All-in-all I would highly recommend Han Dynasty. Don't let the strange location and the Dollar store next door scare you off, this place is truly a hidden gem. read more

First thing I wanna say is they have THE WORST SERVICE out of any of the Hans. I've had food at 3 other Hans. This was the fourth. The service was terrible. The waiters barely spoke English, refused to accommodate for food restrictions like the other locations gladly do, and openly refute the customer without any apology. We were a party of 10 and not once during the 2.5 hours that we were there did the waiter come to check on us for water or anything. On the other hand they started rushing us to leave and told us three times that they are closing, 15 mins before their closing time. I read other reviews saying the service was bad but the food was good. The food was sub par. I always get the dry pot chicken and Dan Dan noodles. The dry pot chicken was almost burnt because the sauce was barely even there. The pork in the Dan Dan noodles was half the usual quantity. The dry pepper chicken was mostly batter and hardly any meat. The black bean styled shrimp was way too salty. We were given wine glasses for our wine because it's BYOB but 5 of the 8 glasses we were given smelled terrible liked raw eggs. The only reason I am giving this two stars is because we still managed to have a decent time through the rude service and sub par food. I would avoid this location at all costs. Never coming back. Try the locations in NJ, center city Philly or old city philly. Way better. read more

After reading mixed reviews about the Exton location, I was a little hesitant to try Han Dynasty in Exton for the first time - but, we had an amazing meal & I'm definitely excited to go back for more. We loaded up on the Scallion Pancake, Wonton in Chili Oil, Three Cup Chicken, Chicken with Hot Dry Peppers and Sliced Fish with Tofu in Wild Pepper Sauce - and I would recommend every dish. We had very friendly service - helping to guide us to some great dishes. The hostess/owner? seemed impressed that we had devoured the three cup chicken (taiwanese - served on the bone, as she had recommended) - and she even dug into the bowl to find a few missing pieces we had mistakenly left behind. I did see that others who were asking for special requests off the americanized menu were not getting the same love from the staff ("can you combine the egg drop and hot & sour soups in the same bowl? can you take out the peppers from the hunan chicken?")... but, we found everyone to be really nice and helpful. Go with a group & stay with the traditional menu and their recommendations. Great spot! read more

Note to all patrons wanting to try Han Dynasty: DO NOT ORDER AMERICAN CHINESE FOOD! That is not where this restaurant excels. As is very typical with restaurants that serve authentic Chinese food, the American style Chinese food tends not to be up to snuff for people wanting to order General Tso's Chicken, Orange Beef or Pork Fried Rice. A lot of bad reviews that I have seen for this restaurant are for dishes I would NEVER order at this restaurant. Han Dynasty is clearly a Sichuan restaurant that has a number of Americanized Chinese offerings on their menu to placate the diner that is unfamiliar with real Chinese food. If your idea of Chinese food is Panda Express or a local carryout only establishment, don't go to Han Dynasty. Go to Han Dynasty if you are willing to try the Scallion Pancake, Wontons in Chili Oil, Pork Belly in Fresh Garlic Sauce (that is actually unsmoked bacon cut pork), Spicy Crispy Cucumbers, any number of Cumin dishes. These folks are the real McCoy. Don't order familiar, order surprise and in most cases, you will be pleasantly... Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the Americanized Chinese food, but when an opportunity presents itself to have the authentic stuff like that which is served at Han Dynasty, I will pass on American Chinese food every day of the week. So unless you really know what you are talking about, don't review this restaurant. They're not trying to make an award winning Honey Walnut Shrimp or Wonton Soup. summary ... get chicken with hot dry pepper, don't look back We went to Han Dynasty on a whim (we'd never tried Szechuan before) and the when I told the waiter that I loved spicy-as-hell food, he recommended the Chicken with Hot Dry Pepper. I fell in love that day with Szechuan peppercorns. The numbing spicyness was otherworldly to me, but it was like crack. I could not stop eating that dish. The chicken was perfectly crispy, there were an abundance of the hot dry peppers (this dish really isn't for the faint of heart) that blasted my taste buds with a fireball of heat, but the Szechuan peppercorns numbed them at the same time, making for the AWESOMEST taste I've ever experienced. They (like their other locations) have an Americanized Chinese menu and an Authentic Chinese menu. Stick to the Authentic menu, you can get lo mein and stuff elsewhere. A few recommended items - Fish in Hot Dry Pot, Wanton in Chili Oil, Beef with Cumin (it's almost an Indian dish it has so much cumin, truly unique), Cold Chicken in Chili Oil, etc As for me, after that first visit (must've been in 2008), I've been hooked on Szechuan food ever since. We go to the Han Dynasty Royersford frequently, but that Han Dynasty Exton version of the Chicken w/Hot Dry Pepper was perfection realized. Go for one of their monthly tastings. It's 20 courses (yes 20, not a typo) for $25 and it's basically a huge family style dinner of random Szechuan items. You will never have a happier tummy than after the tasting (but DO pace yourself, otherwise you will need a recovery day to nap away while your body still works on digesting). Also, this place is a BYOB. Because the food is so spicy, choose your BYOB drink carefully. We've found that Rieslings and Gerwurztraminers go really well with uber-spicy cuisine. read more

This is the best Chinese Restaurant in the greater Exton/Downingtown area. I have ordered out as well as eaten in. The food is made fresh and is consistent. If you dine in, do not expect "American" level of customer service. Will your food come hot? Yes. Will you get a refill of water or tea after you asked... maybe not. Do not expect any smiles. As long as you have realistic expectations you will be fine and content. If you are looking to feel valued as a customer, I suggest trying a different restaurant with lower quality food but great smiles. read more

If you have not had good chinese food then this is a good option. Personally, it is not my favorite. For the appetizer we started with Fried Dumplings, which did not taste hand made, and egg drop soup, which was lukewarm. For our main course we ordered Mongolian beef and garlic sauce chicken. A description of the food follows: the beef was soft and fatty and the sauce was not rich in flavor, thus, tasting like a sad home cooked meal. However, the garlic sauce chicken was surprisingly decent and crispy. On the side note, they place all the customer's dirty dishes on a cart in the dinning area which is odd. The worst part is ( if you're a big water connoisseur) the water is not great, definitely tap water... please BYOB or satisfy your taste buds with soda. This is part of a local chain. This was the location closest to where we were staying. We ate predominately off the Chinese menu, mostly the spicy items. The tea smoked duck was slight dismantlement, good smoky flavor but the duck was slightly chewy. The spicy tendon was thicker than I like but had incredible flavor. The dry spicy chicken was one of the best I've had on either coast. Super thin scallion pancakes were another star. The dish that we would have liked to try? The Spicy beef soup, I'm betting they do a killer one here. The have 3 cup chicken on the menu too, which all but assures a return trip. Yes, chalk up another stellar review for Han Dynasty in Exton! This place really is ALL it's hyped up to be. I was looking for something the other night to cure the late night Memorial Day munchies, and I needed something with a little kick. It's been awhile since I've been here, but I remember last ordering the chicken in garlic sauce and it being a great meal. This time I decided to go with the Kung Pao Chicken dinner for $9.95, which is on the authentic Chinese menu. In case you're unfamiliar with Han, they offer Americanized versions of some of their Chinese dishes too, however, I opted for the authentic fare. It came with a large portion of white rice and a separate container full of Kung Pao Chicken. It was rated on the menu as a 3 out of 10 on the spicy scale, and WOW it sure had the kick I was looking for! To be honest, I don't know how much more spicy I would have wanted it to be (and I love spicy food). The dish was well prepared and balanced perfectly with great spices and seasonings and the peanuts packed just the right amount of punch to balance it off. Every bite left me wanting more! This quite possibly could be the best Chinese food I have ever eaten, and I can't wait to go back and try some more dishes off of the authentic menu. Oh thank the lord for Han Dynasty. Now THIS is Chinese food, the kind of place where they have an Americanized menu for the lovers of "fried rice" and an Authentic menu for us ex-pats who crave mama's home cooking. This place is located in a scrummy strip mall, but don't let that bug you too much. Surprisingly this is one of the few non-chain restaurants that are open on a Saturday at 2:30, which is when we showed up ravenously hungry. So you can imagine that our waiter was a bit flustered at the amount of food we ordered. Or maybe not, but he was friendly enough not to say anything. When it comes to my scallion pancakes, I'm pretty demanding; they have to be crisp and fluffy and thin -- which, thankfully, Han Dynasty did perfectly, accompanied with a soy dipping sauce that complimented the oniony of it all. The dandan noodles were full of the kind of hot and spicy that made you want to chug gallons of water while stuffing your face at the same time -- simply put, flavourful and yum. Pork belly and preserved vegetables were perfect compliments of fatty rich and salty, plus reminded me of home... not a bad thing, mind you! Chicken with hot dry peppers were surprisingly addictive and delicious. Interior is pleasantly decorated and amazingly clean -- I'd suggest getting a table, since the booths tend to wiggle and wobble depending on the antics of your neighbours. read more

My latest business trip took me to Exton, PA. The last thing I expected to find out there was a 4.5 star rated Chinese restaurant! As an Angelino with access to some of the finest Asian cuisine... I had to give this a try. Having lived in LA for the last 5 years I was must say, there were certain things I have become accustomed to... restaurants open later than 9:30 pm is one of them. So it was my fault for coming here at 9:15 just before closing, but they were very gracious enough to allow us to come in and have a seat for dinner. After seeing their generosity, we were happy to get the meal to go instead which consisted of the Ma Po Fish and House Tofu with vegetables. Both were absolutely delicious and the portions were of great family style size. One would have been plenty for the two of us, but seeing how highly the restaurant was rated, I needed to get some variety. =) The Ma Po was full of authentic Szechuan flavors, a bit on the spicy side (as it should be!) but not over powering. The fish was very well cooked and all the flavors were there. The Tofu dish was also done very well, the sauces and flavors all present with none over powering the other. The tofu perfectly cooked, not over done. I would definitely come back here, next time I'm in town (if ever). But should your travels bring you through here I highly recommend coming. Note* Normally for such a small and short experience I would be reluctant to give a 5, but here's my reasoning for doing so; despite our late arrival, they were happy to take us in and give us a seat. It was our idea to get the meal to go, not their's, and they did not press upon us to hurry or 'get out' (the waitress did check with the chef if it was ok for us to come sit). We went here on Sunday to check it out after reading all the great reviews. We had a fantastic meal and the service was extra good! To start, we ordered the won tons in chili oil that were really spicy, but oh so yummy. My friend who does not endure the heat well said that she loved the flavor, but they were too spicy for her. We also had scallion pancakes - I would skip these in the future as they were not remarkable. Perfectly respectable, but not as awesome as other stuff. For entrees, we mainly ordered form the specialties menu and had the snow pea greens with garlic (delish and fresh!), the Lamb with cumin (excellent, tender, flavorful), crispy beef (featured shredded celery and was my favorite dish), and beef lo mein (for an "Americanized dish" - some of the best lo mein I have had). We also ordered the dan dan noodles and they were outstanding. I loved everything and the spice level was a-ok for me, but I love spicy food. I would say if you aren't a connoisseur of the heat, then you will need to order everything mild, which our hostess informed us we could do. Don't miss this place - well worth it! UPDATE - went for lunch today. Removed one star because there was no service at all. It was noon, the place was packed with business folks and only the hostess was around - no orders were taken, no water glasses filled, etc. When the server did show up - all was well, but it was a good 10-minute wait. We were all informed that "he will be right with you." I am not one who likes to rush - but business day lunch - I need to be in and out. I ate the lunch special (around $7) and comes with a main, rice, choice of soup or egg roll. What a bargain! The selection is large for lunch specials featuring both Americanizes and authentic dishes. I had the chicken with hot dry pepper - wow, super spicy. I did not know the chicken would be fried (menu did not say), but I ate it anyway and it was good. Not appropriate if you don't like a little fire in your belly, though. read more

In my original review I stated that one more visit might solidify this as a 5-star experience. Well, two more visits have resulted in a subtraction of one star. The past two times I've been to Han the wonton soup was bland and lukewarm, and the tea was not hot. Lunch also took way, way too long both times as it appears they are severely understaffed. Additionally, it seems nobody there speaks english at all. Fortunately, the entrees both times were outstanding. A word of warning...the double-cooked pork is essentially a plate full of bacon with some chinese vegetables. Not at all what i was expecting and, while incredibly delicious, was way too much bacon for a single person to eat in one sitting (yes it is possible to have too much bacon). I hope this place fixes some of the issues I've experienced lately. If not, what an absolute shame. read more

I live in NYC and I can't find szechuan this good. We ordered: Chicken with hot dry pepper Fish with hot dry pepper Cashew chicken Chicken in chili sauce Moo shu pork NONE of us were disappointed. Portions are definitely large enough to split, so keep that in mind! We didn't, and everyone had leftovers! Only downside is they were massively understaffed the night we were there. From time we sat down, to when we left was almost 3 hours. Waiter was superfriendly and apologetic, but totally slammed on a Saturday night. Would definitely go back here! It's definitely very good for suburbs. The menu here is interesting because they have all the americanized chinese food and they have a column that reads "authentic chinese food". I thought it was amusing. Their americanized chinese food isn't that great. I've seen better general tso's chicken and sesame chicken elsewhere. But when they offer *authentic* chinese food, why settle for something you can get elsewhere? :-) I haven't tried a lot of their things. But things i've had were good so far. Twice cooked Pork (Belly), Wontons in Chili Oil, Sichuan Beef Noodle Soup, Beef Brisket Noodle Soup. The soups are on the oilier side and I had to add some additional seasoning as it was a bit bland. But the twiced cooked pork is really delicious. I'm definitely a fan. read more

When Han on two occasions 12/5 and today 12/6. The food that I have on 125 was really good. However the customer service needs improvement. The portion size that they give for the afternoon special is really small. For an afternoon special you would think they would give you enough for the price they charge. If the food continue to be cooked correctly and made tasty I will continue to go to Han Dynasty Footnote: I really don't think the owner or the manager of the restaurant really don't care about the opinion of the customers. I think think their main objectives is getting out the food. Yay for real Chinese food!! Even though its owned by the same people who own Han Dynasty on Chestnut St in Philly, the menu here is a little more Americanized I think not to scare suburbanites. But no matter. I still got cucumbers in spice oil and noodles with beef and scallions which was delicious. When my boyfriend and I first arrived, we were sat at a small table in the middle of 6 other incredibly loud tables. We were uncomfortable and unable to hear each other speak from across the table. We stared at their slightly confusing menu, no service for 15 minutes. My bf left the table to ask for another one. He was told no. When our first waitress came after we had been sitting for 20 minutes. I asked for another table. She said they were dirty. I said clean one or we are leaving we can't hear each other. We got moved to another table. Despite the new table. We had to wait longer for service. When I asked for help and suggestions about what to order. We got the manager as our waiter instead and we didn't see our waitress again. He took our order quickly and then neglected us the rest of the evening. Food was okay. Too much hype for terrible service and decent, run of the mill Chinese food. The only discernible difference is that it was very spicy and fresh. After we finished our meal we sat for 10 minutes before our plates were collected. And then we had to wait another 10 minutes for the bill. I seriously considered dining and dashing because obviously they didn't care about our time, so why should I care about their pay. Side note: I've worked in the food service industry for the last 7 years. I have put myself through college being a fast food joint manager and eventually a manager and jack of all traits at an upscale fast casual cafe/bakery. I know the intricacies of good service and the food service industry. This place doesn't care. We sat in this restaurant for 80 minutes in total only eating for about 15 of those minutes. The service at Exton's Han Dynasty was a huge disappointment. Shockingly bad. The dining room was a mess (food on the floor, dirty plates everywhere) and our server was at our table once to take our order and then never returned. We had to flag down random staff to ask for napkins, order a soda, send back the cold soup, request to-go containers and the check. I had never been to this location and I won't go back. Thankfully, the food we ordered (the spicy cucumbers, Dan Dan noodles, garlic chicken and ma po diced fish) was much better than the abysmal service and the atmosphere. Han consistently delivers the best Chinese food I've ever had. It's very hard to compare Han to any other Chinese restaurant because it is so superior. The food is fresh and the flavor is amazing. I'll admit I've never had anything from the "Americanized" menu so I can't review those items. Exton has a tasting party once a month. It includes 20 courses and is $25. You should sign up for this and see what this restaurant is capable of producing. read more

I came here twice when my aunt and uncle use to live in the area. I loved the Mapo Tofu or another Tofu dish I had. This place was much better than any other Chinese restaurant I've been too. I hope to come back here again. read more

This place is a real treat and hidden gem in Exton. My wife and I love the Chicken with hot dry peppers. We also like the Dan Dan noodles but combining the two in one meal can be a little dangerous as both dishes pack some serious heat. The only downside I've seen so far is the sit down service inside the restaurant has been pretty slow. Typically my wife and I order out and we get our food on time. If you enjoy authentic Chinese food and you don't feel like heading into Philly, this place is just what the doctor ordered! read more

This is by far our favorite Chinese restaurant outside of Philly! We are familiar with Han, having lived in Manayunk for a number of years, but only recently ventured out to the Exton space. It's excellent. Ambiance-wise, it's a little dark and not my favorite. This location is in a strip mall and has a strip mall feel, inside and out. The Manayunk location is so bright with the tall windows that we were a little spoiled. But food-wise, it's fabulous. It's family style, which is great because my kids like to try a little bit of everything. I also love it because we can choose at least one dish that we normally wouldn't order and since we're sharing, it's okay if not everyone loves it. The spice factor is noted on the menu (be sure to look at both versions) to help you pick and choose - you should know that when they say hot, they really do mean it. Pay attention to the specials because they're worth it: the cucumbers in chili oil are one of our favorite dishes. The servers are great. A few are quite shy. But we've met several relatives of the owner now and they've been super. On our first visit, my son even got a lesson in Chinese - complete with illustrations - when he mentioned that his best friend had been speaking Chinese to him at school. If you go outside of "normal" business hours, you might even get to watch them do prep work. My kids were fascinated by the servers getting the green beans ready for dishes (yes, the veg is fresh and you can watch them bring in greens, etc.). We love it, will keep coming back! read more

I love Han Dynasty and try to eat there once a month. I stopped by tonight (Friday) and the phone orders and walk ins were stacking up. I was immediately seated and ordered about 10 minutes later. By this point the dining room was completely full and the phone was ringing off the hook. Amazingly they kept the food flowing and the entire restaurant plus take out army were all happy. These guys can literally feed an army the best authentic Chinese food that you can buy! Thanks for another great evening! read more

Poor quality of food with poor seasoning. spent 17 dollars for shrimp that was mushy and opposite of fresh.

I've eaten at several Han Dynasty locations. The Exton location was really a disappointment. The decor was awful and the service matched. The food was similar to the other locations but still not as good. If this was my only experience with this restaurant I would never go back. It's surprising how bad this location is compared to the other ones. read more

We ordered takeouts from here twice and I must say - Nice! The portions are decent and taste really great. The food lived up to the hype but I think the store is a bit understaffed considering the long wait time even for takeouts. read more
