This is a restaurant my family and I have been supporting for awhile. Today we tried something new and dint like it, returned in five minutes from pickup, had one bite of food . I returned the food and asked if we could exchange it and keep the rice and pay the difference of the new meal. He said no due to it leaving the store and then when I said only one it was nasty he said it doesn't matter. For clarity I asked does it matter to him if a customer likes the food or is satisfied and he said no. So I will make sure I spread the word of the owners point of view to all I know in the area. read more

This place is ok; not the best chinese food but not the worst either. I was craving chinese and this place was close enough so I gave it a go. I gotta say.... The egg roll size is massive and it's not as breading. The insides are full and it definitely has a good bite to it. I got the general tso chicken combo. I thought they did a decent job on the meal itself at it wasn't too salty like most take out places. The sauce could have been a bit more flavorful and this is where they differ from other chinese takeout that I had. My financè gift orange chicken and aside from the acidic addition of orange flavor, not much different from the general tso. They were quick with making the food and I got to pick up and leave right away without hassle. I would go try again if I'm craving chinese. read more

Probably won't return to this location. Food - typical. Not great but not bad. Service - pretty awful. 1. If you do not want people eating in the restaurant, don't provide restaurant style seating in your establishment. 2. The woman literally yelled at another customer telling him it's not part of the order. Not sure what that was about, but it was rude. 3. Their son was playing some loud game throughout our time in the restaurant. All in all, if we're starving - Wawa is closed, all of the pizza places are closed next door and this place was holding a clearance sale, we might just go hungry rather than walk back in. read more

Pleasantly surprised. Recently tried this place and it is much much better than it has been in the past, when the food has been been average to below average overall IMO. Vegetables not overcooked. Properly blended sauces. Even their fried rice was tasty, not oversoyed or greasy. I can now say this place has very good Americanized Chinese food. Not something you can find easily in this area. And they do deliver. And you can order easily from your phone or computer through their website. If you haven't ordered from here in a while, give it another try. Quick consistent service, great location, will do fast delivery, website ordering is easy, will do spice when you ask for spice in comments and other special requests. When you want quick comfort strip mall Chinese food, you wish every place was this consistent and enjoyable. Parking/traffic can be a bit hectic but I am sure most people get delivery. read more

The reason I keep coming back is that those dishes have never let me down. The reason I only come here occasionally is that they've never overly wowed me either. I used to love the food here but now I'm done. one of Chef's "Specialties," sesame chicken, was not edible. The meat was grisly and the fried dumplings were not cooked enough, even though I asked specifically them to cook them thoroughly. I should have known when the order was at my door 13 minutes after I placed the order that things weren't right. I can start off by saying I will never be ordering from China Wok again. I was happy to see that they deliver to my address as long as you order a certain amount and pay the small delivery fee. Since I was ordering for two I knew that wouldn't be a problem. The prices seemed reasonable and I read that they were fast. Well within 30 minutes my food was here. The bill was a bit pricey, but I remembered I ordered for two. Once in my kitchen, I started to pull my food from the bag. "DEFINETLY NOT ENOUGH" for two. I could not figure out what I just paid for. There was hardly any food there. I know.... The quality must be so good that it demands I pay more for it. Wrong again. I ordered a Szechuan Beef dish that had "3" pieces of beef. I just paid about $10 dollars for a bunch of carrots and other vegetables. Our boneless spare ribs came in a soup container. extremely dry and tough like beef jerky. I just moved to the area and was looking for a new Chinese restaurant to frequent. I ordered lunch take out and was left really wanting. I ordered the wonton soup and general tso chicken. My order was ready very shortly after I arrived and was hot and packed nicely. I got home and dug into the soup, the wantons were very good and I was hopeful for the rest of my meal. However, I should have stopped with the soup. There was nothing appealing about my chicken dish at all. The rice was flavorless and the broccoli tasted frozen microwaved. We just moved to Paoli and took on the daunting task of finding a new Chinese restaurant. We love ordering take out, so we figured we'd have to try a few places before we found "the one". We were pleasantly surprised that it took one shot at it! We got our standard favorites, and oh my gosh...their fried rice might be one of the best we've ever had. It's perfect. Sadly, this place has gone downhill with the new owners. The frozen appetizer items are as good as ever (dumplings, egg rolls, etc.) but their main meals, particularly their chicken dishes are pretty terrible. The meat is stringy, inconsistently cooked and generally unpleasant. I can't tell if the ingredients are now lower quality or if the cook simply isn't preparing the dishes well. We won't be back! I ordered General Tso's chicken, beef lo mein, and crabmeat cheese Rangoon. I was told 15 minutes. It wasn't ready at 15 minutes or even 20 minutes. No, it took over 30 minutes! That's unacceptable. Now maybe if the food was decent I'd think about giving them a star or more, but the General Tso's was flavorless (and quite pink inside) and the beef lo mein had only a few pieces of beef. Lame. I requested gluten free soy sauce, but I don't feel confident that they followed directions from the way my throat is feeling. I stopped eating it anyway because the risk of getting sick isn't worth it especially when the food is yuck. No flavor. The taste of salt doused on veggies and shrimp does not make for good Chinese food. Evening food options with delivery are not plentiful in these parts. This is the best local takeout Chinese food restaurant hands down. Are they busy? YES. Do you sometimes have to wait longer than 10 minutes for take out? YES. Is it worth the wait? YES!!! New owners are absolutely awesome. Quality of food improved dramatically from the previous owners. Their chicken and broccoli and barbecue bone in ribs are delicious. Food is always hot, fresh and tasty. Prices are very fair for quality and portions. Portions for platters is enough for dinner and for lunch the next day. Delivery is free and when I am at work locally sometimes I will have delivery but most times I do take out. No more than a 15 minute wait. I frequent here often, 2 thumbs up!!! read more
