I absolutely laugh at the upper main liner who gives this place one star based on a delivery guy not backing out of the driveway...I mean what a total Karen. Hope that doesn't speak to the whole neighborhood. On the flip side I'm going to give this place 5 stars. This is some of the best upper echelon cash only General Tso at a great price point. The fried dumplings are great as well and are almost as good as the pork soup dumplings in Chinatown. A bit of a whole in the wall but fills a take out Chinese food need. read more

We ordered take-out from here and it was ok but likely not a place high on my list to return to. We got beef chow fun, walnut shrimp, boneless spare ribs, string beans with garlic sauce, and moo shu chicken. Portions are generous but the texture and taste of the dishes are just ok. The beef chow fun was a little mushy. The walnut shrimp comes in a watery sauce, which is very different from what I am used to. The boneless spare ribs were probably the best of the items we ordered but is a bit on the salty side. The string beans have a kick to them, which I liked but was surprising. The string beans were on the softer side. I've never had moo shu before and I think we just do not like the dish in general. Located in a small plaza with parking spaces but it can be hard to find parking. Lunch menu looks like they have some great lunch specials. read more

Our favorite Chinese food hands down!! We have ordered from Win Hao several times over the last year or so. Every time, the food is delicious, fresh and well portioned especially for the price. It usually ends up lasting at least a couple days. The food is consistently good and we have yet to have any issues and don't expect to. They also have Thai food on their menus which is an added bonus! I would have included a picture in the review but we ate all the food too quickly. read more

I'm usually not swayed enough one way or the other to leave a review, especially when it comes to takeout. I'm not sure what they were aiming to create when they packaged up the order, it most certainly was not what you'd picture or expect. Literally plain noodles as Mei Fun and Chow Mein minus noodles (it contained chicken, carrots, and celery covered in an opaque white sauce) The black bean chicken was covered in a sweet and sticky sauce. I really was rendered confused, so much so that I checked the receipt twice thinking maybe my order was just a miscommunication. This is definitely not going to be a place I go for Chinese food in the future. read more

Food is ok. Flavors aren't like what they usually are at other places. Portions are good for the prices. I don't know if I would go back.

The lunch specials here are insane. My $6 lunch special easily turned into 2 meals. The lo mien is perfect here, the right amount of sauce and noodle to veg to meat ratio. Plus it gets better the longer it sets in the fridge. Ha ha. We've had a few things off the menu now and it all has NOT disappointed us. The Singapore noodles, fried rice, and curries are all great. The staff is nice and the food is very reasonable. The egg rolls are also mega egg rolls, be prepared... I'm so glad we found this place, we've been looking for somewhere that has legit good chinese in the area and so far Win Hao is the very best. read more

Yay! I'm a fan. We have eaten here a couple of times over the past month, so my review is based off of that. Food - Consistent and good. Highlights are the Pork Fried Rice, Chicken Broccoli, and my daughter loves their Wonton Soup. However, their eggrolls are amongst the worst I've ever eaten. Service - Consistent, quick and friendly. Each visit, we were greeted with a smile, very friendly and quick preparation. Location - Parking is tight, as with all of the restaurants in this plaza. My only recommendation would be to install an air conditioner in waiting area as it is not well ventilated so it's very hot. read more

My family and I have been getting take out from Win Hao for years, and we just love it. The food is always so delicious and plentiful, we've only ever had a great experience. The staff are the best, always cheerful and kind and they make it easy to order by phone. If there isn't parking out front there's always a space in the back of the property. As a new resident of the Berwyn-Paoli area, I was pleasantly surprised with my first Chinese take away experience with Win Hao. My husband and I ordered two meals and an appetizer for about $22 (we're vegetarian, though, so that tends to bring prices down a bit), and delivered to our apartment in less than 30 minutes during peak dinner hours. I got the vegetable dumplings (B+, good if you're hard up but I probably wouldn't order them again since the menu is otherwise so robust--but they did give you a LOT for the price) and the string beans with garlic sauce which was perfect. Spicier than anticipated, which was a plus for me but could be deterrent for someone who isn't into spicy foods. My husband had the vegetable lo mein and it was also a huge helping and very tasty, so he said. All of it packaged beautifully (no spills or leaks), hot, and again, very affordable for those nights when you just can't be bothered to cook or you just want some Chinese.
