Pad Hi Ma Parn (Cashew) with Chicken
P E.

Stopped here for supper still looking for great Thai in Chester County. Some winners here and some not so much. Tom yum soup was a started for my dining partner. They enjoyed it but felt it was a little too sweet and was missing some lemon grass. We also tried the Laotian sausage. This was excellent and enjoyed - nice char, great spicing - but avoided the very spicy condiment. Sticky rice was a $3.50 up charge which I think is excessive so we passed on that. My dining partner was very pleased with the pad Thai, probably the best we have found in Chester County. I ordered the Pad Hi Ma Parn (Cashew) with chicken. I asked for not spicy - I tend to go easy when I am at a new place -I got no spice at all. The sauce was very broth. Vegetables although very fresh were not even close to crisp tender - almost raw - and the chicken was almost nonexistent. The dining room was pleasant; music was of the elevator kind and seemed to play over and over again. The waiter was fine but had limited facility of English so we just punted in a few cases. The crowd at 7 PM on a weekday was grayer than most.

Delicious! The drunken noodles was particularly delicious, and I appreciate that it wasn't very greasy. Each dish had a unique flavor profile that complemented the neighboring dishes that were crafted to perfection. We ended the night with mango sticky rice. A delicacy that was like a cherry on top. Service was courteous, and overall, the dining experience was lowkey fancy. I could tell the other guests in the restaurant are regulars, and I understand why.

Basil chicken Fried Rice

Looked up the place in Yelp and wanted to order take out from Bualoy. Called and ordered Thai basil chicken Fried Rice, ordering process was easy and simple. Got a confirmation order that will be ready in 15 minutes. The place is in Lancaster Ave, and it is not easy to enter if you are on opposite lane. There are plenty of parking spots back and some in front. The food was ready as I walked in and was nicely packed with spoon, fork and napkin. They even offered hit oil, which was cool. Coming to the food, as I opened the box, the fried rice had nice flavor and tasted so fresh. The quantity was so filling for a lunch and big kudos for that. The vegetables mixed along with chicken were at the right balance, and basil flavor was oedfectly infused into the rice as well as chicken. The taste was delicious even without adding the hot oil, but the hot oil kicked it to the next level. If you are around, try this place, and wypu will be happy. The price I felt was a little on the high side but worth the quantity of rice and taste !!!

Crisp and delicious!

Tried again recently. Ordered at lunchtime on the weekend. Totally on point! Prompt. Generous portions. Pad thai and curry properly cooked and well-seasoned with balanced flavors and sufficient heat (you can choose from non-spicy, mild, medium, hot and Thai hot). For those who want it, there is a vegetarian option for Pad Thai and the various curries you can order. Chicken wings w sweet Thai chili sauce a real winner. Can't give the place any better compliment other than that the food is overall quite yummy!

Woo, where to start with Southeast Asian Market? We came by with a large group today, since some…read morefriends were visiting from out of town. Stalls were packed but certainly not the worst. Things will definitely get a lot busier as the season goes on. Frankly you can't really go wrong with anything here, so I just wanted to leave some best practices as someone who's iterated a few times here: - If getting skewered meat/papaya salad, just get it at whichever booth has the shortest line with what you want (and if you don't want anything in particular, just hop in the shortest line). There might be a slight difference between stands, but since it's so common, you can't really go wrong with anyone who sells. - Stir Fry Noodle Lady! Grab the chive cakes on the side too. - Skip the sugar cane and go for the simpler drinks on the menu. Passionfruit, lime honey, and things like that will be much more refreshing. - Bring a picnic blanket, as there's plenty of space to gather and eat adjacent to the booths, and you'll avoid eating on your feet all the time. Make sure to bring cash! Venmo/card is beginning to be accepted but may have a surcharge.

Delicious papaya salads, skewered grilled meats, fruits, panda waffles, soups... its impossible to choose just one thing. I also recommend going early when they first open. Very Pleasantly Surprised!…read more Cold rainy night and wanted some pho or Thai soup and I got much more than I Bargained for. I see this spot in a parking lot and looked up the reviews and thought I would give it a try. It wasn't busy and was near closing but the waitstaff was very pleasant, inviting and submitted order and food came out piping hot and it did not disappoint. I started Tom Yum soup and it was very flavorful and nice portion - I recommend the large for the price and take how the leftovers if there is any. I then had massama lm curry, and KaProw And they both had really great flavor - decent portion size not large but not small medium. I had a Thai Ice T, a bit on the sweet side for me, but it was decent. Overall really enjoyed the place and look forward to going back and trying a couple of other dishes.

The waitress point to me where to get the high chair. Krapow chicken shouldn't have all those sauce. It is a dry stir fry. Shrimp pad Thai tasted like it was mixed with a bottle of pad Thai sauce. Paneng curry has peanuts in it. Never see that ever! Mixing with other fillers that shouldn't be in Paneng. Papaya salad is the only decent dish for me. Looking from outside, I would turn around and out real fast. Going inside, it could be worse, I guess.

Mains: - King Soup (red curry broth served over vermicelli noodles with shredded cabbage, carrots, bean sprouts, mint, cilantro, and scallions with tofu)--requested at a spice level 3, this was a rich, filling soup thanks to a generous hand with the tofu; - Deep-fried Whole Pompano Fish with Ginger Sauce (sautéed with garlic, ginger, chili peppers, carrots, and onions) served with jasmine rice)--diner ordered a Triple Flavored Sauce (sweet tangy, spicy sauce, served with steamed vegetables) at a spice level 5, but though spicy, it wasn't overwhelmingly so; - Homemade Lao Sausages (stuffed with chopped pork, lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, served with steamed vegetables, roasted chili garlic paste with stick rice)--consensus was these were some great sausages; - Casserole (napa cabbage, clear noodles, basil, chili, in a red curry base)--ordered by two diners, both with fish; - Laab Salad (marinated with roasted rice powder, herbs, lime juice, with spring mix, and served with sticky rice). I also appreciated that the restaurant was well lit enough so that I could read the menu without issue. Our waitress was really nice and answered our questions about Laotian food. The pork spring rolls were super crispy and tasted especially good with the sweet dipping sauce. The Aw Lao was very dill-heavy (I learned that dill is often used in Laotian cuisine) but the flavors of the soup worked well together, and the sticky rice texture was great. I got the king's soup, and the portion size was big enough for leftovers. I wish the broth had been a bit saltier, but otherwise it was good!

The papaya salad paired well with this, as it was tangy and refreshing, especially on such a hot day. The scallop crudo was a special for the night, but I think they should add this to their permanent menu because it was definitely a standout! The all star fried rice at $54 was also well worth it. I am often disappointed by dishes like these due to the lack of "stuff", but there was crab throughout and a generous portion of roe. I was a little disappointed however that there were only 2 scallops at that price. Overall, each dish had impeccable flavor, great presentation, and a good amount of seafood for the price.
