I've been a customer here for the last five years and usually order DoorDash. The few times I've ordered, the food has been really disappointing. I keep ordering from here hoping that my last experience was a one-off, but tonight was the last time. My go-to order is drunken noodles with tofu and vegetables, vegetable Massaman curry, and mango sticky rice. I ordered DoorDash last night and was very happy with the portion sizes, as usual. They're always very generous. However, the drunken noodles were incredibly spicy, more so than usual, and soupy and gloppy. The noodles were very overcooked, and the whole dish was in this spicy liquid that didn't have any other flavor. This has been the case for the last few orders I've placed and it's really disappointing. I won't be ordering from here again. read more

My coworker and I came here for a Friday lunch! This place is so cute when you walk in. I love the decor :) For their menu they had their lunch special where you can get an appetizer and a entree for a set price. I wanted something off the lunch menu or I would have gotten the deal! I first started off with Thai ice tea. Delicious and made correctly. For appetizer I wanted to try tulip dumplings which ended up being shrimp shu mai dumplings. They tasted fresh and had a lot of shrimp in them. My coworker likes her spring rolls as well. For entrees I got the shrimp pad sew ew while my coworker got the Thai eggplant. My pad sew ew was perfect. Sauce was great, plenty of noodles and vegetables. I counted about 5 fresh and juicy shrimp. Finally got to try Chiangmai. Restaurant is small with small tables- decor is bright. The staff took our order right away. Tulip dumplings were cooked perfect- the chicken was bland, however Im usually eating pork dumplings . Our currys came out fast. Delicious coconut flavor however was overpowering with the coconut flavor. I had to stop and save it for later. I'll be back but not my fave. read more

The place is excellent. Upon arrival, I was greeted and immediately led to a table. Menu is long enough, has all the variety one could need. Service was flawless, and the ambiance was fantastic. My coconut milk soup could have used a bit more flavor. My red curry was absolutely perfect, one of the best ones I've ever had. We were very happy with our Friday night dinner at Chiangmai. We sat down right away and service was great. This is a great spot in Conshy that brings diversity to some of the Italian/American options around. We ordered the lovely couple for an appetizer. It was good, I liked the crispy pork dumplings better than the veggie, but it was great to try both. For our entree, we split the Chu Chee Duck. It was perfectly crispy, maybe one of the best ducks I've had. The red curry sauce was not really spicy, but I wish there was more of it because it was so good. We also got the Pad See Ew. The sauce was great, the noodles were just a little soft for my liking. For dessert, we had the mango sticky rice. Great balance of flavors and textures. Highly recommend! read more

A cute little BYOB in Conshohocken that I wished I had visited before now! Service was pleasant and quick. Restaurant is tastefully decorated with a touch of holiday additions (we went around Valentine's day). The food was delicious and the portions were large, leaving leftovers for lunch the next day. Three of us shared the lovely couple appetizer which had three fried pork dumplings and vegetable rolls which was a great start. Our go to Thai place in Conshy and in the Philly suburbs area that I highly recommend if you are craving Thai. Food is always delicious, fresh, and flavorful! My favorites are the Pad Thai with shrimp or chicken or the drunken noodles. The drunken noodles are spicy but tolerable. The portion sizes are also great and I always seem to have some leftovers. My fiancé's favorite dish that you can only get at dinner is the Pad Thai crispy duck. Definitely try their appetizers too. My favorites are the tulip dumplings, chicken satay, Buddha dumplings. There is only indoor seating but it's never too crowded and they spread you out. It's also BYOB which is great. If you don't want to eat inside I definitely recommend takeout too. Appreciate the Vegan Options for Dine in or Take Out. A multi year customer. I am a senior heart patient on a low salt diet and I am very salt sensitive. Chiangmai is a staple for me and my guy, and has been for years. One of the most consistent restaurants in the area. The food is always the same, always great. Pros: Consistency. Deliciousness. Friendly and quick service. And BYOB! I love the food here. I love that it is great for takeout and dine in. I rotate between like 3 different dishes, but would feel comfortable telling you that you probably couldn't go wrong with anything you order. They do a great pad Thai, drunken noodle, curry, and so on and so on. Personally, I find everything here to be very mild for Thai food. I always request my dishes to be made spicy, which would be my tip if you feel the same as me about spicier food! The service is always so quick and pretty friendly (esp relatively speaking). The staff is friendly and always willing to accommodate my spicy requests, or help any other way. Cons: Not a ton of street parking if you don't live or work in the area. Too consistent. Not a lot of cons here! If you're not within walking distance and try to come on a busy time, you may need to look harder for parking. That goes with any Conshohocken restaurant though. My only real negative is that I feel like they haven't updated their menu in like the whole 10 years I've been around here. I would love to see some new dishes tried out. The service was efficient and the food came out with additional time, but at least that means it's made fresh. I had the chicken satay as a starter, which came with this house made peanut sauce. The chicken was quite tender and moist. The peanut sauce could use a little bit of spice or garlic for more depth. For the main dish, I went with pad see ew, which are jumbo stir fried rice noodles. Such great flavors and the texture of the noodles came out perfect. The portion was huge so I left with enough leftover for lunch the next day. Unassuming little Thai place in the heart of cutie pie little Conshohocken really surprised me! I'm new to the Thai food craze but super happy that my husband has convinced me to branch out and really enjoy these new spices and techniques! Asian food is tricky when you're gluten free. Either staff is not familiar with dietary restrictions or just plain don't offer any accommodations. I found Chiangmai to answer questions pretty well and consistently when asked about gluten free options on the menu. Pad thai is safe and delicious and drunken noodles (my favorite) can be made gluten free using different noodles (the pad thai noodles instead of the wide flat noodles). It's not the same but just grateful for gluten free noodle options at all! Evil jungle princess is also really good and not as spicy as it sounds! Mango curry is gluten free and fine but I prefer panang curry or the evil jungle princess personally. Unfortunately the mango sticky rice is not gluten free. read more
