It is a nicely decorated Vietnamese restaurant with standard menu of pho, com, apps, and vermicelli bowls.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our Summer Rolls were well made, fresh, with decent dipping sauce and ground peanuts. The Roast Pork Banh Mi was also okay, but would have been a big winner had they used a more baguette type roll with proper crisp and crunch. Service was the one area where they really fell short. Perhaps because of the hour 4:00 p.m., we were the only customers in the house. The wait person seemed less than enthused to have to wait on us. She never smiled, nor brought us place settings. We ate carefully to avoid dropping food on the table, floor and our clothing. The serving dishes were too small for that purpose. She never gave us lemon or lime slices for our drinking water as requested. The mamasan was more pleasant in taking out credit card payment, wishing for our return in the future. We started our gastronomical tour with crispy spring rolls (really delicious) with a light but extremely flavorful dipping sauce and sesame chicken wings (also crispy ... the best we've ever had) and finished with Spicy Lemon Grass Pho and the Deluxe Pho. And we couldn't have been more pleased. The service was good and the food arrived fast. Everything that was supposed to be hot was hot and what was supposed to be cold was cold. Notably, the fresh veggies and the iced viet coffee. It was perfect. The only slip up was the coffee cup was only 3/4 full. Still, a delightful dinner. We met the owners on our way out and they were engaging and curious about our experience. We told them it's was the best we've had and that they'd be seeing a lot more of us. The summer roll was fine but missing the peanut sauce. It only had the other sauce that you use for fried dumplings. The dumplings were okay. I got the beef ball pho. I know a lot of places generally don't give many beef balls but this bowl was so sad looking. I think it might have been 2 beef balls cut in half for 4 pieces. The soup flavor was a little off, tasted a little too sweet for me and didn't have the depth that I was looking for. I'll give them another chance and try of the rice dishes next time. read more

I wanted to get some groceries at the nearby Asian grocery store, so decided to give Pho Ngon a try. Pho Ngon is beautifully decorated. The interior decorations are tastefully designed and it's very clean. It looks better than most Vietnamese places I've been to. Food is reasonably priced and tastes good. Service is friendly and efficient. Overall, I'm very satisfied with our lunch today. If there's anything that could have been better, I do wish they had a soda machine. I also find the canned soda price interesting: $2.06 per can. Also, if you pay by card, they automatically add 3% on your bill, which is a bit petty for a business. read more

Excellent option for classic Vietnamese in East Norriton with very solid executions and generous portions. The pho is the best in the area - light and flavorful without an overabundance of salt or MSG - and the grilled pork chop is tender and flavorful. They use jasmine vs broken rice, but the overall dish is very solid. We also tried the pad thai, which was surprisingly good with plenty of chicken and tender, flavorful noodles topped with egg. We will definitely be back to try more of the menu and yes, they do have bun bo hue as a special. Next time you are craving Vietnamese and want to save yourself the 2.5 hours roundtrip to South Philly, just drop by here. It will hit the spot! read more

It came out so hot I took one bite and told her I could not eat it, it was SOOOO spicy! She RUDELY told me "We add no spice." They MUST have - it was SUPER hot and spicy! The customer service was spot on and the food is reasonably priced. Most Pho restaurants will over salt Pho broths due to not making them from scratch.
