Love the TVs with travel shows about Vietnam highlighting sightseeing activities and Vietnamese cuisines. Every dish is flavorful and authentic tasting. One of the best pho's I had had and such large quantities. We got the chicken lettuce wraps and it was delicious with your own added sauces. This is the best Vietnamese restaurant in the burb and sometimes I choose to come here from Philly for a good bowl of pho instead of going to Vietnamese restaurants on Washington ave. Their pho soup is richer than other Vietnamese restaurants' soup in Philly area and the portion is very generous. My other go to is dinner for two, which I often get with my bf and everything on the dinner for two menu is highly recommended. This time we got the chicken with broke rice as our soup choice. It may look simple but don't let it fool you. This simple looking soup has so much flavor in the broth and the chicken is so tender, you will want to order it again. Another go to item of ours, you can't go wrong with the shaking beef. The beef is incredibly tender and the salty dipping sauce bring this dish to another level. The dinner for two, four, or six menus always include sticky rice with mango and it is the perfect finish to the meal. The wait staff are always friendly and the service never disappoints. Been coming here before the renovations, I'd say for at least the past 10-15 years. This is my family's go-to pho place and as there are other pho places in the area, we still find this to be the best one. The owner here is so friendly! Was craving pho and went back to this place that was recently renovated with new owners. We shared grilled pork summer rolls and egg rolls. I got the pho deluxe with a side of raw onions. Didn't enjoy the meatballs but the pho was good otherwise (not the best but satisfied my craving). It wasn't that busy on Sunday for lunch so was easy to get a table. Dropped by this place for dinner since it was close to the office and had some pretty decent reviews. Once I walked into the place I noticed a mildewy smell which was pretty unpleasant but it wasn't enough to deter me from eating here. There was nobody else in the restaurant which is not abnormal for the area, another table did come in 10 minutes after I arrived. I ordered the Goi cuon and the beef bun. The food came out quickly. The mildewy smell started to get to me so I ate and skedaddled. The food was ok but I think there's other Vietnamese places that are better in the area. read more

We tried Pho and More via takeout on a weekday. The order was ready quickly and the portions were large! The summer rolls and the peanut sauce were very good, though I think the menu said shrimp and pork and mine only had shrimp. We both ordered Pho Tai Chin - the broth was fantastic and flavorful, plenty of bean sprouts and mint on the side, and lots of noodles. The brisket was wonderful. However, my personal preference would be to skip the medium rare round eye steak - I don't think my broth was hot enough to cook to my preference. Nothing fancy, but fantastic food to satisfy a pho craving. I will definitely try other menu items! read more

I feel like this is one of the better, if not best, Vietnamese restaurants in the area. They just recently renovated and the space looks more open and just absolutely beautiful. There are TVs all along the walls showing kitchen prep cooking videos that just make you hungrier as you wait for your bowl of pho to come out. I got bun bo hue (#13-I should have gotten 13a because that is the same thing, but it comes with beef balls) and my partner got com tam dac biet (broken rice with grilled lemongrass pork chops). Both were really good. I do wish that they made the bun bo hue spicier, but it wasn't anything sriracha can't fix. I highly recommend this spot if you're looking for good and authentic Vietnamese food in the area. read more

As far as a Vietnamese restaurant was concerned, it offered above average food. Our party of four agreed on that. Service was also very good--rendered with courtesy and pleasantry though it took them a while to recognize us perhaps due to a dim interior lighting. I have to put a question mark on the atmosphere and interior deco in this establishment. Coming in from very bright outside, it looked very dim at best. As we were seated in a booth, I was impressed with how dark the room looked with dark tables and chairs. It also made the room feel somewhat dingy. That's not a great feeling for any eating establishment. I thought pho broth was particularly very good here. I know some previous reviews stated their broth tasting too watery or watered down, but I didn't sense that at all. It was a very good tasting broth (above average for sure) IMHO. If it were not because of the room feeling dark and dingy, I'd give this place five stars. The food and service was very good. I'd go back for more pho or bun for sure. read more

While I'd dined in with my wife a handful of times before the pandemic, we've gotten takeout from them a bunch of times since, and it's all been quite good. Compared to some other options in the suburbs, it's not as pricey, and the quality is fine. Pho is still pretty good heated up at home, though it's better to order the fully cooked beef options, as my wife has taught me. They do a nice job of packaging everything nicely for takeout, and they get it ready pretty quickly, so no complaints there! read more

Placed a take out order last week with some friends and their family. Forgot to take pictures before I KO the dinner. The food taste alright, not too bad. I can't expect it to be superb because we aren't in the city. But overall, it's good. However, my only con about this place is their take out portion isn't big. My friends, my husband and I all think the portion isn't enough compare to elsewhere we have eaten before. Yet again, this is the suburbs, not the city. The portion size was extremely small for my fish clay pot (not even one fish filet) and was charged nearly $20 for it. Then when I brought it up to them, they said that it's a fair deal and to stop complaining. To make matters worse, they forgot the rice for the dish! Will never come back again. read more

When bestie has Vietnamese on the brain, there's no settling! I did some searching and saw that Pho and More had quite a few positive reviews, and that we should give it a go. We are still being COVID cautious, so we opted for delivery. Since both of our eyes are bigger than our stomachs, we ordered a HUGE amount of food, but let me break down what we got, why, and would we do it again. *Tom Yum Soup with Shrimp - this was incredibly tasty and they weren't cheap with the ingredients. Has all the right flavors to get your tastebuds going! *Thai Lemongrass Coconut Soup with Shrimp - I preferred this soup more because I am a total sucker for coconut, and the lemongrass gives it such a depth of flavor that will make you want to have this is 90F weather. For my soup lovers, this one's for you! *Goi Cuon (Summer Rolls with Shrimp) - to me, this is an absolute MUST when you are ordering Vietnamese food; I can't NOT have it a part of my order. Incredibly fresh ingredients with a satisfying crunch thanks to the lettuce. Don't hesitate - get this! *Bun Dac Biet - house special vermicelli noodles with cut up fried spring roll, meatball, BBQ pork and grilled shrimp. If you or someone you're with has never had Vietnamese before, this really covers all of your bases. You're bound to pinpoint something that you love and have a better idea what to get next time. This is a staple. *Cum Tam Bo Nuong - broken rice with grilled beef was what my bestie was craving, and although this didn't rock my boat, it was still pretty good. This is definitely a "safe" order for the non-adventurous. *Com Chien Thit Nuong - Vietnamese grilled pork chop with fried rice; again very safe but also pretty tasty. This is more a great balance of savory and a little salty; great to share. *Drunken Noodles with Chicken - I love love Drunken Noodles! I would definitely get this medium spicy next time, since I can totally handle more heat, but give it a go and adjust your spice accordingly. I can eat this all day, every day. *Taro Bubble Tea - if you are a Taro fan like my bestie and I, you're gonna love how these guys make this! Don't get the bubbles and just enjoy that taro flavor; it'll kick you in the face! *Thai Iced Tea - this is a best as you're gonna get for the area, and this is coming from a New Yorker. This is some great quality stuff and I would highly recommend getting this! I can't wait to order from here the next time I come to PA to visit! read more

Unfortunately, the first observation from my dealing with Pho & More in Montgomery Commons is that while it may be a Vietnamese house, it certainly is not a Thai kitchen. As I ordered from both ends of the menu, I found myself happy with the Roast Pork Banh Mi sandwich, but damned dissatisfied with the Lemongrass Coconut Soup (Tom Kha) and the Drunken Noodles (Pad Kee Mao). Why? Because although both those dishes have lemongrass spice as the key ingredient, there was absolutely no lemongrass to be found in either the soup, nor the wide flat rice noodles. The soup tasted of watered down coconut milk, with ample chicken and mushrooms, but without the strong bite that lemongrass provides. Very poor effort. And the Drunken Noodles were not hot and chewy at all, but really just Chinese Vegetable Chow Fun with a few leaves of Thai basil mixed in. I ordered it "very spicy," and the cashier dude repeated that request to me upon pickup. Yet, despite the reasonable quantity of noodles and veggies, it totally lacked the heat punch desired. Boring, semi-sweet fat noods without redeeming fire signature. Major disappointment. If I had to guess, I would venture that there was not a Thai person in the kitchen, nor even a real authentic recipe for Bangkok cuisine in the house. If they don't have lemongrass in stock, they just aren't Thai, and shouldn't misrepresent their abilities. Yet, the Banh Mi was decent and I grant that someone may have trained in Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi to perfect their pho stock. Had I known the truth about this joint, I would have happily stayed in Vietnam, and travelled to Thailand another day. As it is, with dishonesty at their core, I will never return to find out what they are really good at. Fooled me once, shame on you! Fool me twice; never happen! read more

This is my local go to Vietnamese restaurant to either eat in or to go. Their Pho broth is deep and flavorful and the prices are a steal for the amount you get. Also don't forget they are great for add-one so you can customize the meal to your liking. I like to get a bbq pork chop with my pho because it is amazing. They also do a great job packing to go orders by separating everything so you can combine it at home without everything getting over cooked. The only downsides are the place is in dire need of a deep clean and the service is not to everyone's liking. I say that because they are very to the point and in and out. I don't mind it at all because they get the job done and are helpful when needed. read more

I planned get Indian lunch buffet next door but that place was scary empty and I notice this place was popping. I ordered the spring rolls and bun bo hue. I think pho is mainstream but bun bo hue is too exotic still but it's so good and hearty. The portion of the BBH here is good for me. Tonight was definitely prefect weather for pho! The service was great. The food was delicious. For the price and portion, you can't beat it. I was so full after eating my bowl. I had the P13a which was like BBH. I love spicy! My boyfriend had a clear noodle soup which came with pork and seafood. That broth was really really good and I like the chewiness of the clear noodle. I know because I took couple bites lol. My sister ordered a kid size pho which came with a free soda. Who doesn't like free soda. I also forgot we ordered starters. For starters, we ordered beef & chicken skewers. Surprisingly, the chicken tasted better than the beef. The beef was good but the chicken was so juicy! And of course, we had to order Thai tea. The location is very convenient and the speed of service is perfect for a workday lunch. The staff is attentive in taking orders, filling water/tea, and taking care of the check right away. In terms of food, I've definitely had better pho elsewhere and I would not recommend the pad thai (I think it's made with pho noodles?). The "summer rolls" (spring rolls) are pretty good, and a great starter. Plenty of booths/moveable tables if you're there with a small or large group of any size. Overall, decent place for a quick bite to eat, but keep looking if you're hoping for more authentic cuisine! read more
