Grilled Pork (Com Thit Nuong) Broken Rice Platter
    Linda L.

I got the Banh Mi Cha Lua and Grilled Pork (Com Thit Nuong) Broken Rice Platter. I really enjoyed the broken rice platter - the meat was very flavorful. I did not like the banh mi sandwich at all - it just did not taste good to me. However, I would come back to try other dishes. When I went, the restaurant was very busy with customers dining in and also getting take-out. They are located in a plaza with a parking lot. Service was friendly and there is a surcharge if you pay by credit card. 3/5.

Chicken pho was a little oily

While I do agree the service and cleanliness here is great, the food just wasn't as good as my local spot. My chicken pho was very oily and I'm just not used to that. It was nice that they had seating outdoors so that was a bonus. Again, staff was very friendly and service was fast so a positive experience overall.

Casual ambience, and door was open due to nice weather. Wonton soup was tasty - lots of cilantro, so if you don't really like that, don't get this soup. I requested boba in my Thai tea, yummy, love those silly tapioca balls. The mignon vermicelli salad was tasty. Mignon a little chewy, overcooked, but good flavors overall in the dish. Service was a bunch of young gentlemen who were polite and quick. I may het takeout again, but I have to eat my leftovers 1st. ;). *Only negative was I kept smelling the attached nail salon chemicals as I was eating.

We ordered for lunch and it was delicious! We ordered a selection to see how things were and we were not disappointed. We had: Vietnamese Summer Roll with Shrimp - Goi Cuon Vietnamese Spring Roll - Cha Gio Vietnamese Wings, Sweet & Spicy - Canh ga chien nuoc mam Grilled Pork and Broken Rice - Com thit nuong Grilled Chicken and Broken Rice - Com ga nuong Pork Roll and Pate Banh Mi Grilled Pork Banh Mi Everything was delicious and flavorful and it was delivered hot. The summer and spring rolls were perfect, the summer roll cool and tasty, the spring roll hot and crispy The wings were outstanding - really delicious! The grilled pork was perfection and the grilled chicken also excellent and the rice and salad, pickle carrot and daikon all went well together. The banh mi were generously filled, the bread lightly toasted and both were delicious. I would definitely order from MamaMi again - if there was one minor criticism, it would be the peanut sauce with the Summer rolls - we prefer hoisin and sriracha or nước chấmm but I have both at home so no biggie. I will try their phở next time to see how it is - can't wait! Definitely recommend!!

Best Vietnamese in South Jersey. Hands down without a question, YOU NEED TO TRY THIS PLACE!!! The filet mignon pho is the first dish I ever had here and I've been hooked on it since. Not dramatic at all but eating this pho is similar to the experience of a warm hug on a cold day. I've slowly been making my way through other items on the menu and so far nothing disappoints. The shrimp fried rice has incredible flavor. The spring rolls are refreshing and delightful. The mamami vermicelli is the ideal yummy dish for spring/summer season. The Vietnamese coffee is the perfect cooling sweet compliment to pair with the extra chili oil I love to use in my pho. I've never experienced food this good in Gloucester county. I think this place is underrated and needs more hype!!! Can't wait to see what MamaMi Vietnamese Kitchen will do in the future, I would love to see a papaya salad dish and possibly some crispy chicken one day on the menu Excited for my next visit already!

The pho broth was so flavorful! Very generous with the meat and noodles. Can't wait to try more from the little spot

    Bun Bo Hue

Best Vietnamese food I ever ate in my life anywhere. Just the spring tofu roll was so fresh (rice noodle wrap hot fresh tofu herbs) that I felt this place Gould def have a Michelin star. I ordered the Bun Bo hue and it was like no other soup I've had in my life in San Francisci, Portland, Seattle, Philly, NYC you name it. My husband who traveled to Hue and throughout Vietnam agreed. The service was so warm and kind and the ambiance modern and clean. I will be returning for more in two days. How lucky we are to live close to this hidden gem! Do yourself a favor and go right away - I promise you won't be sorry!!

I write this as I am only halfway through my bowl of filet mignon pho. This is the best pho I've eaten thus far. It was so good I had to write a review immediately. The broth is so flavorful. It is obvious they use high quality ingredients, as well as high quality containers, chopsticks, etc. My favorite part is that for my to-go order, they put the beef separately uncooked so that I could cook it myself in the broth to avoid it being overcooked. Service was quick and efficient. Staff were friendly and helpful. The inside of the restaurant is clean, beautiful, and a small intimate atmosphere. Highly recommend!

    Shrimp Fried Rice

I tried their seafood pho recently and it was delicious! I don't know why I never tried it before but this will be my new go-to dish. And of course, I always must have their Vietnamese Iced Coffee - it's so addictive. Also, if you are in the mood, their beef cubes with salt/pepper/lime sauce and shrimp fried rice are very good, too.

    Pure fat

First time I had food from here it was 5 stars. This time around it was zero but 1 is as low as I can go. Basically inedible. The beef was as essentially gristle. It was nearly pure fat. We threw most of it away. I'm honestly not sure how they felt comfortable sending us this food given the price we paid. I'm not a fan of leaving bad reviews for a mom and pop, but I couldn't let this slide. This was truly awful. I'll never order from here again awful.

If you're looking for authentic Vietnamese food that truly delivers on flavor, quality, and value…read more-- this is the spot. We ordered a variety of dishes to really get a feel for the menu: the Vietnamese crepes (bánh khot), fish sauce chicken wings, bánh mì, hu tieu nam vang, and the garlic noodles with filet mignon. Every single dish was absolutely delicious. The Vietnamese crepes were crispy and packed with flavor, the fish sauce wings were perfectly balanced -- savory, slightly sweet, and addictive. The bánh mì had that ideal crunch on the outside with fresh, flavorful fillings inside. The hu tieu nam vang was beautifully prepared and comforting. And the garlic noodles with filet mignon? Tender, perfectly cooked beef over rich, buttery, garlicky noodles -- easily a standout. Beyond the food, the service was warm and attentive without being overbearing. The atmosphere felt inviting and welcoming -- the kind of place where you want to sit, eat, and stay awhile. What really impressed me was the value. The prices for the quality and portion sizes are outstanding. You can tell the chef takes pride in every plate and is truly holding it down for the Vietnamese community by serving food that feels both authentic and elevated. We'll absolutely be back. Highly recommend coming hungry and ordering a little bit of everything.

It was hard to stop eating it but I wanted to save room. In the end, this was my favorite dish! Temperature wise, the soup was served piping hot. I loved the onions and mushrooms in it. Then we got the dumplings. Delicious!! They were meaty with a special sauce. They came 6 to an order. Would get this too again! Next were the edamame. They were a bit overcooked in terms of how I prefer them. Perfectly salted. Good size portion. For our main we each got the Thai Sesame Triple and I ordered the pad Thai noodles to take home to my sister/nieces. We were clearly going for leftovers so we over ordered on purpose. The Thai Sesame Triple was delicious, and once again, a very good portion. We got the dinner portion at lunch. The chicken was perfectly crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. Same for most of the shrimp. The scallops were not as crunchy- my dad said last time they were. Huge portion of rice with it as well as some broccoli and carrot garnish. I got brown rice. The crispy chicken feet was a huge hit. It had the perfect crisp and was spicy, salty, and sweet (personally, this is my holy trinity of flavors). I think this would be a great way to introduce chicken feet to people who haven't had it before. The beef salad was super refreshing, and I appreciated the copious amounts of beef and different vegetables, especially banana blossom. I've had chicken in this type of salad growing up but this tender beef is a game changer. Everything else was great but those were the highlights for me. The staff is very lovely and they made sure we were taken care of. The whole restaurant is modernized and clean. I highly recommend trying DVR whether you're looking for a classic Vietnamese meal or wanting to tap into the lounge experience.
