Tried Wild Ginger for our take out Friday routine. Place is very cute, nice seating area. We ordered shrimp fried rice, fried wings, shrimp tempura and the dinner shrimp and broccoli which came with an egg roll and pork fried rice. Total came to $30+ The shrimp fried rice was the best out of everything we ordered. It was so flavorful. The shrimp and broccoli and the pork fried rice were bland. The egg roll was mediocre. The shrimp tempura had good flavor but was hard to eat because it kept falling apart. I would definitely go back to try their sushi/sashimi menu. read more

As we walked up I was thinking to myself, "Oh good grief how much of a wait will it be." But, much to my surprise we were seated within 5 minutes. It turned out the the small hoard of people waiting at the front door were all call in/take out orders. The entire time we were their, there was a consistent flow of take out orders streaming from the kitchen to the front end. So this place is very popular with the locals. This flow of take out orders did not impede or impact the time between order placement and meal delivery to our table. The service was rapid, friendly, polite and punctual. No issues there. As busy as they were at the front door with take outs orders and with the Yelp reviews I'm sorry to say that my expectations were higher than my experience. We ordered the Red Oil Dumplings as an appetizer & although they were tasty they were not spicy. They had a peanut sauce with a very minor and fleeting bit spice heat at the tail end. My wife and Son ordered 3 Hand Rolls between them while I ordered General Tso chicken and asked for extra spicy. While they throughly enjoyed theirs and mine was tasty - my extra spicy General Tso chicken was actually a sweet sauce and not a spicy sauce. All in all, no issues with the service or the kitchen throughput and the food was good (Nothing special, but solid.) My only complaint was the sweet General Tso chicken and the not spicy Red Oil Dumplings. Give it a go.... read more

I had tried Wild Ginger in the height of COVID times when all restaurants were only doing take out orders, no dine-in. The food was good, but eating it at home wasn't the same. Fast forward a year or two later, my bf and I decided to check it out and dine in. The restaurant itself was cute and quaint. Once sat inside, it seems like a restaurant that you wouldn't find in Sicklerville. Service was fast- it seems family owned & ran. We order 3 things to share as we didn't want leftovers. Portions were great for the price. Food was very CRISPY, which is something we really love to have when ordering things with "crispy" in the title. On 2/18/23 my friend wanted to eat Asian food for lunch. We were seated as soon as we arrived. The service was great. The food was scrumptious especially the warm sweet potato sushi roll. I ordered take out but was rushed on the phone while trying to order and ask a few questions about menu items for clarification of ingredients. Must be one of those places that you have to 'dine in' to get quality food. I only ordered a few sushi rolls and the bill was over $50. I thought no biggie I'm sure it will be worth it. Awful restaurant. Worst soups I've ever tasted. We politely returned the Tom yum soup (after taking one sip of only the broth) cause it tasted like old water. We asked to replace it with the curry soup. Tasted and looked exactly like the Tom yum but now with curry power mixed in. We relented and accepted the curry soup because we didn't want to cause a fuss. But, the incredibly rude cashier refused to take the Tom yum off the check and told us it's our problem cause we ordered it. This establishment must have a million regulars if they don't care about having new customers returning. Save yourself the trouble and just go eat at Cinder down the road. Quaint restaurant tucked away in a strip mall. Pretty busy for a Saturday night around 6:30. The to-go orders were non-stop. I had shrimp pad Thai. Large portion; lots of shrimp. I'm a big eater and I ate maybe half of the entree. Good flavor and the spice was just right. One of my friends had the moo shu pork, which she said she always gets. Also a huge portion. My mom had the chicken teriyaki. The chicken and broccoli were served on a piping hot skillet. It looked pretty plain to me, but she seemed to enjoy it. Salads and soups were also good. The wonton soup had really good flavor. Bonus for the crunchy wontons and sweet and sour sauce. This place is BYOB and there's a beer/wine/liquor store right next door. Our waitress took our drink orders and before she could return another worker rudely told us to "hurry up and order we close ". Update 10/25:i was told manager wont be in by tuesday morning... i belive it was the same lady ..anyways i dont want this to happen to any one else they should put either in their menu that they dont serve spicy food or atleast have cashiers that understand what customers want!! Ordered pad thai and told 3 times the cashier i need spicy .... spicy and spicy. Usually wheh you say spicy that means you need extra spicy. After saying that what i got is a mild pad thai whith hot oil on the side and when we called them they had an attitude with not accepting its thier mistake... at the end with the attitude they told my wife that bring it back we will give you another one .... seriously you are not doing us a favour by giving us another meal with your attitude Anyways i will call the manager tomorrow and see what his feedback is.. read more

My favorite sushi restaurant in the area. Everything is extremely fresh and delicious. I've eaten here many times and have had various dishes on the menu and I can honestly say, there has never been anything I didn't like. Some of my favorites: tuna avocado salad, any sushi really (salmon avocado roll, spicy lobster roll, shogun Maki), duck fajitas, general tsos chicken. Truly, you cannot go wrong with anything. The only thing that is lacking here is the service, sometimes you will luck out and get a friendly server, but most of the time they are pretty rude. Wonderful meal with my friend. Restaurant was very full, which is always a good sign. BYOB with wine store in the same center. I got an app of Tuna Avocado salad which was wonderful then ordered Thai Lemongrass dish which was spiced according to your request. I felt as if it was never ending food and took most of it home. The tables are a little close together, but once you sit down, you don't really notice the people around you. We ordered seaweed salad, edamame, and 3 sushi rolls - the Spider roll, Green Devi roll, and Sunshine roll. All tasted very fresh and delicious. The waitress was nice and attentive, though we typically don't need much. The bill was about $45 for all of that food, which seemed very reasonable. When I sat down he immediately opened my wine and brought me water and a side glass of ice without even asking. They didn't hover over me while I was browsing the menu.
