    Chicken Pho.

Pho w/chicken was very good. So much chicken breast meat, I had to take 1/2 of my soup home for later. Very clean and the service was excellent.

After this location changed ownership, I have been going more often and bringing friends. The food is much better and the service is always great. The owners are very lovely and I always have a good meal here. A few months ago, I was on the fence about trying a new bowl. I typically get Pho Tai, but I wanted to try something different. The owner encouraged me to try BÚN BÒ HUẾ. I am HOOKED and I may have consumed my last bowl of Pho Tai. If you like a little spice in your bowl, this is the one!

Excellent food and great service! I have enjoyed just about everything I've ordered. Everything tastes fresh. The portions are somewhat smaller but the food quality itself is excellent. I was unfortunately not a fan of the fruit tea (it was very syrupy rather than fresh fruit or fruit juice), and I was disappointed that the bahn mi's do not come with the typical delicious mayo. I do really wish they had online ordering and/or partnered with one of the delivery services, as it is call in/take out only. But it is probably best for my bank account that they don't!

If you are visiting Peddler's Village, this is a great spot to grab lunch or dinner and take a break from the craziness. We tried the shaken beef salad, pho New York Style with pork chop and ube coffee. The beef was seasoned well and perfectly cooked. The pho was fairly good, not amazing, I wish the broth was more flavorful. The Ube iced coffee was absolutely delicious. The space is spacious and service is prompt.

One of the best Vietnamese restaurants I have been to in Philly. They make everything in house and the staff are very nice. The food is amazing you can't go wrong and the serving sizes are abundant. Everything is great! 5/5. So here are some of the must tries. App: Oysters! 5/5 very fresh and flavorful. They are grilled to perfection. Bone Marrow: a must try and taste better and cheaper than those you get at your fancy restaurants. Mains: Meatball Pho!! Homemade meatballs are delicious and flavorful. Out of all the meats this is the one to get and you won't have any regrets. Pork Chop!! Nicely seasoned and cooked to perfection. Without a doubt a solid pick if you are not in a pho eating mood. A great place to eat if you are visiting peddler village.

I was a bit skeptical about trying this location since there aren't that many Asian restaurants in the area but happy I was wrong. It is a solid place for authentic Viet food. I got the lemongrass pork and my partner got beef pho. I thought my dish was solid but not the best I've ever had but pretty good, the meat was tender and well season and the pho broth was very good. Service is no frills, but food came out pretty quickly. For the area I think this the best option as the other restaurants tend to be American/Italian.

Grilled ribeye steak, a bit dry

Grilled pork banh mi was really good with a kick of spiciness, beef short rib pho with fall off the bowl meat was yummy and came in a huge bowl, that bone itself was huge. Grilled ribeye steak was a bit dry and skippable, drinks were a bit too sweet for both the fresh coconut juice, thai tea with bubble is skippable. Very friendly staff and would recommend checking it out!

Had a jones for Pho and chicken wings, of course as always. The place was in a strip mall. Cute. Borderline romantic. Kinda dark. Fresh flowers. GOTTA love fresh flowers! In the bathroom too! Nice touch! * Sweet Chili Chicken Wings were meh. Boring & coulda made them at home. Boiled then fried naked. Happy they were all flats even though I didn't ask for all flats. The pickled radish & carrots accompanyment...YUMMMM! * House Special Pho - Eye round, brisket, tendon, tripe, & meatball. LOTS of meat which was fantastic but the broth wasn't as unctuous & bodied as I hoped. Nothing a little chili oil couldn't cover up. The bean sprouts were super fresh & crunchy. I love that! Hit the spot but I'd be lying if I said I'll be back. My origjnal server was lovely and sweet. He wasn't loud and he was very patient with me. But the other server who took over told me not to eat too much. I'd be lying again if I said I didn't feel some sorta way.

cute strawberry ice cream in a waffle cone bowl

I took my niece here today as an early birthday outing as she turns 6 tomorrow and loves soup and specifically broth . I try to always take her to new experiences. We got the crispy fried shrimp app (her other favorite food) which was very tasty and the short rib pho to share. It was phenomenal! She INHALED all the broth and most of the beef and noodles and even tried bean sprouts! The service was fantastic, and they even brought a cute candle with strawberry ice cream as a surprise and everyone sang. She was so happy. Thank you for helping us make a special memory!

At some point inflationary pricing like at Pho Happy Bowls has to be controlled. I found the place attractive, just as it had been in the two prior Asian houses that occupied this space. My Pho Ga (chicken noodle soup) was also decent, if not the richest savor I have had in my life. Yet at $15.95 for a medium bowl of hot steamy, it was at a price point that I would have to be wowed to the max to believe I received fair value for that part of the meal. That, I wasn't. Same for the Banh Mi (grilled pork sandwich). I love an authentic baguette filled with just about anything when it is crusty and loaded with fresh ingredients. Here, while the contents were right (plenty of succulent pork, daikon, pickled carrot, cilantro and Asian mayo), the roll was but a poor facsimile of real French bread. Wrong crust. Wrong texture and taste. It was saved by the reasonable $6.50 price, but could have been exceptional with the right bakery vendor. No complaints at all about the Summer Rolls (shrimp & pork), $7.50. Deliciously assembled and wrapped in fresh chewy rice sheet, with nice peanut dipping sauce. Service was friendly and timely, yet they do have a service charge for the privilege of using a credit card. I guess consumers these days have to take all the risk.

It's a simple set up and the team of Jake and Dennis worked well together preparing a French-based meal. 1 complimentary glass of wine, byob if you need more. We certainly appreciated the nuances of the meal being prepared. Our salads were fantastic. The shrimp soup tasted complex but was flat and needed a lot more seasoning. Our steak dinner was very similar. We appreciated the mushroom-based sauce and the steak was cooked perfectly. But again, the flavors were muted, nothing savory. The home made bread was excellent. Last was dessert. We are not a fan of pouring any kind of fruit sauce or drizzle on our chocolate... although the chocolate mousse itself was solid. The strawberry drizzle kinda ruined it for us.
