I am not sure if we caught them on a bad day but we will not be back. The Bun bo hue was not spicy, there was no flavor, the meat was chewy and the noodles were overcooked. The pho was not hot and noodles broke apart as they were overcooked. The decor was nice and the restaurant was overall clean. Our server was nice and attentive. I was unfortunately not a fan of the fruit tea (it was very syrupy rather than fresh fruit or fruit juice), and I was disappointed that the bahn mi's do not come with the typical delicious mayo. Very underwhelming - came here hoping the reviews and stars held true and was tremendously disappointed. We started off with spring rolls & chicken wings. Spring rolls came out quick, hot crispy no complaints probably the best part of dinner sadly. The wings were tiny, all flats and took a bit of time before coming out. The sauce for the wings was good. I got the bun bo hue, very disappointing... lacked flavor, spice (traditionally spicy soup/broth) not enough noodles for the price of the bowl and the beef was overcooked. This noodle bowl is typically beef shank (for tender meat and connective tissue) and oxtail or beef bones (for a rich, collagen-heavy broth) this bowl was not even close. The pho was not piping hot, the noodles were very overcooked where they were breaking apart out of the bowl, huge turn off. Big indication the noodles are not fresh. The beef was the same as the bun no hue and overcooked chewy... coming from a Vietnamese who has many different bowls of pho, this one falls to the bottom. I was a bit skeptical about trying this location since there aren't that many Asian restaurants in the area but happy I was wrong. It is a solid place for authentic Viet food. I got the lemongrass pork and my partner got beef pho. I thought my dish was solid but not the best I've ever had but pretty good, the meat was tender and well season and the pho broth was very good. At some point inflationary pricing like at Pho Happy Bowls has to be controlled. I found the place attractive, just as it had been in the two prior Asian houses that occupied this space. My Pho Ga (chicken noodle soup) was also decent, if not the richest savor I have had in my life. Yet at $15.95 for a medium bowl of hot steamy, it was at a price point that I would have to be wowed to the max to believe I received fair value for that part of the meal. That, I wasn't. Same for the Banh Mi (grilled pork sandwich). I love an authentic baguette filled with just about anything when it is crusty and loaded with fresh ingredients. Here, while the contents were right (plenty of succulent pork, daikon, pickled carrot, cilantro and Asian mayo), the roll was but a poor facsimile of real French bread. Wrong crust. Wrong texture and taste. It was saved by the reasonable $6.50 price, but could have been exceptional with the right bakery vendor. No complaints at all about the Summer Rolls (shrimp & pork), $7.50. Deliciously assembled and wrapped in fresh chewy rice sheet, with nice peanut dipping sauce. Service was friendly and timely, yet they do have a service charge for the privilege of using a credit card. I guess consumers these days have to take all the risk. read more

The location is quite convenient - it's right on 263 on your way to/from Peddlers Village, PA. It's cozy and quiet inside - good for a relaxing lunch or dinner. I took my niece here today as an early birthday outing as she turns 6 tomorrow and loves soup and specifically broth . I try to always take her to new experiences. We got the crispy fried shrimp app (her other favorite food) which was very tasty and the short rib pho to share. It was phenomenal! She INHALED all the broth and most of the beef and noodles and even tried bean sprouts! The food was great! The Summer Rolls are a must for an appetizer. Followed by Pho... Eye Round is my go to order. They have one of the best broths in the area. It's light yet flavorful. They didn't skimp on protein or noodles. Plus they give you plenty of garnishes. I look forward to coming back for a Banh Mi and trying some of their other entrees. A very friendly staff greeted us on a busy Saturday evening and informed us that there would be a wait of 15 minutes. We were fine with this and waited on the side. The restaurant wasn't very large but was charming and pleasing. After we were taken to our table, the manager/owner (not sure) apologized for the wait and hoped we would enjoy our dinner. In this chilly night, we each had the house special pho, and with a couple of splashes of sriracha, the broth turned out to be stupendous. There was ample amount of beef, but we both found it to be slightly overcooked and chewy. The tripe and tendon were perfect however. If in town again, we would return for the pho, since the broth was really good, but would request more tender beef. read more
