Vietnamese Fresh Spring Rolls (2 rolls) - Wow! At first I thought $8.45 was pricey for two rolls but after recieving the order and looking at the size of these rolls and omg so healthy...mint, cilantro, seafood, delectable dipping sauce. I will get these with every order if not upgrade to the main dish portion size. A solid win when you add this to your order. Wonton soup - four smaller size wontons for $4.95. Broth is different from your normal Wonton soup and was a pleasant detour. I don't think I can order a large at approx double the price but this was also a great additon to any order. Eggplant Sauteed - I talked myself into getting a main course as I felt a bit silly just ordering a side order and soup for delivery. This dish was at $18.95 price point and as you can see from the size of the dish it was a let down. Sauce and flavor were great but if I am shelling out close to $20 bucks for some shell fish I want more actual seafood in the dish. Dish comes with Shrimp, Mussels, Squid and Scallops but I was hoping for a larger portion size of the goods. I enjoyed the meal and really have to remember to go out for Vietnamese more often! I was in Horsham for business and the restaurant sign caught my eye as I drove past. Saw lots of great reviews on Yelp so I couldn't leave town without trying it. SO glad I tried it because everything I ordered was phenomenal. Here's what I ordered: -Fried Vegetable Egg Rolls: by the time I got home (1 hour drive) the egg rolls weren't as crunchy as I'm sure they were if I ate them sooner. But the flavor was still SO good! And the sweet chili sauce that comes with it made them even better. Would definitely order these again. -Chicken Dumplings: THE BEST THING I ORDERED. Omg these were so good. I was sad I had to share with my family! The dumplings are so flavorful without being overwhelming. And the dipping sauce is just the icing on the cake. PLEASE order these! -Pad See Ew (lunch): this is always my go-to at a Thai restaurant. At first I was disappointed because I prefer saucy dishes but the flavor made me happy. Broccoli was still crunchy which I love and the dish wasn't too salty, just perfect. Wish I would've ordered the dinner portion because again, I was sad I had to share with my family!! -Steak & Meatballs Pho (small): Broth has excellent flavor. The guy who answers the phone needs to go. Sad, really. The food is pleasant enough and we'd order from here on weekends. Occasionally our $150-200 order would be inexplicably cancelled after an hour or so, we thought Uber Eats was having issues, repeated our order, cancelled immediately so we moved on. 3-4 times this happened with receiving orders in between. I called in when this happened one time - a hungry family wondering what happened after waiting 70 minutes to get the cancellation notice, having seen the driver sitting outside the restaurant for some time so very confused. After picking up the phone, "I've cancelled your order twice already, what do you want?" Well, why? We've waited over an hour? "It's too complicated, we aren't going to make it. Uber notifies you when they feel like it." But the second notification was instant? "Yeah, well we don't want to make your order" I said ok and hung up. I'll never order here again. We ordered unmodified items off the menu totaling almost $200 and order the same thing regularly. Why is it on the menu if you don't want to make it? Why would you wait an hour to cancel it? This place was fantastic! Would absolutely give 5 stars for being the best in the area, but we are giving 4 because I have had better in the city. Place always looked sketchy to me, like maybe it was a front for a massage parlor. We moved to the area a year ago but even before then, never saw anyone in the parking lot, which seems odd for such a large place. Ended up getting the rona and needed some Pho, so my husband went down to get it. Pho was excellent. Good flavor, lovely broth, plenty of the veg. And an exorbitant amount of noodle.. to go is a bagged separately create your own. Only suggestion I would have is a little extra of the protein. 1 smaller piece of enough protein in my opinion is not enough for a $16 deluxe pho. Husband was pleased with his red Thai chicken curry, also he said it really wasn't very hot (he requested extra spicy), so he added some of my chili paste from the pho to it. Vietnamese spring rolls were incredible! Best I've had in ages! Dude answering the phone was rude and hurried, but when my husband went to pick up he was a lot nicer. Based upon some of the reviews I was a bit nervous about what to expect coming here. I ordered the $12.95 lunch special which comes with an appetizer, entree and beverage. I elected the Fortune bags (which are fried crisp with a seafood filling) and the Pad See Ew. For the lunch special you can only choose chicken or tofu as your protein even though pork and beef cost the same amount as chicken on their regular menu. Strange but I went with it. The fortune bags were yummy, wish I ordered more than the 2 that accompanied my combo. Pad See Ew was good, a little salty and I was a bit thrown off by the giant domestic broccoli instead of the Chinese broccoli that's supposed to be in the dish. The sauce itself was good but the dish was strangely light on noodles. When finished I had a bunch of chicken and broccoli on my plate because the noodles were gone. Bummer. I was also a bit disappointed that once I finished my beverage no one once asked me if I needed anything more to drink. There were 3 tables seated and 2 workers posted. I sat thirsty for the last half of my meal. As far as ambiance is concerned, they could definitely benefit from a design overhaul. It's pretty dark and gives off a bit of a diner type vibe with cups full of straws posted at your table. I have been here twice and both occasions I have been disappointed in the food in both the quality and the quantity. Let me start saying that went I order the basil mix chicken and shrimp and didn't want to have white rice, I ask if I could have more vegetal instead, the answer of the server was I am not the chef. Kind of rude, but I let it slide. My food came with tom yum chicken soup, which had no taste and was cold worse I had tasted. Went my main course arrived, I saw that my petition was denied and that not even that, the amount of shrimp was very minimal, and the portion of the vegetable was less than my friends. I ended not eating the dish because I was very disappointed with the food and service that I received. I highly recommended not to eat here or make any request because like the service told me "I am not the chef". read more

This review is from my visit a year ago that I somehow never posted...I just had a really sad shrimp pad see ew here. It was more like the noodles were steamed, not stir fried. They used baby corn and canned bamboo which had a really strong, funky taste. Maybe I'm being really particular, but baby corn and bamboo are not typical in this dish and I happen to hate baby corn. This is usually my go to dish at any thai place, so I'm well aware of what to expect. Everything else we ordered was pretty good. I've been here a handful of times and the food has always been good. I was invited to lunch by my best friend. This used to be a different restaurant. I was not familiar that this restaurant was newly owned and somewhat renovated. We ordered from the lunch menu. I ordered the summer roll and the steak pho. My fresh spring roll arrived in a timely matter. On the lunch menu - you only get one. I would have liked 2. I also ordered steak pho. When my order arrived - it was temperature hot ( which I like ). Witt the lunch menu you also get a drink, I chose the soda(coke). All in all , the service was excellent and the food tasted good. Upon entering the restaurant - I did like the swan curtain on the window. The bathroom - is clean and did smell cleaned. The only thing which I would complain about , would be the conditions of the cushion seats. The seat need to be changed and the frames need to be fixed and painted. The inside is stuffed full of goodies and isn't over cooked to where the veggies inside are just a soggy mess and the meat is grease slathered. It tastes as fresh as a fried bundle of veggie, meat and seafood can be. If you want something a bit lighter, the spring rolls are light and delicious and also taste super fresh. The peanut sauce on the side is so good, I wish they'd bottle it up and sell it so I could use it at home. After you pick out your appetizer, lets get into entrees. I'm a noodle person, so I'm all about the drunken noodle chicken or chicken pad thai. Both have a nice spicy kick without being an overwhelming shot of spices in your mouth. Super flavorful and the lunch portion is plenty. I'm not into Pho, but the people I know who are rave about how great it is here as well. Sooo basically you can't go wrong. For a drink, get the thai tea. It's sweet and creamy and delicious, plus it's included with your lunch. Don't settle for a boring can of soda. We went here for lunch a few months ago and I finally got to writing my review. We went during lunch. Most Vietnamese restaurants aren't big. This had A LOT of seating. The staff was very nice. We got the fortune bags and the fishcakes for apps. They were both really tasty and not oily. I got the pork rice platter as my lunch, it was very good and fresh. I am so upset! I am pregnant so ordered through grub hub which is convenient for me. The order arrived timely however I specifically requested for spicy drunken noodles and this is the blandest regular level ever. No spice just noodles and veggies! So now I have to get up and drive there in the freezing cold because I don't want to waste money. I don't understand why they wouldn't follow the instructions as it was a required choice. Let's add I called the establishment to inform them I would come by to get another serving and the owner argued with me that he made it and has never had any complaints and for me to contact grub hub I am so offended I will NEVER order from here again! We stopped into Viet Thai on our home from an event for our son because we all love Thai and Vietnamese food. We were glad we did. The place itself is very clean and pretty inside and the service we had was excellent. Some of us ordered Thai, some Vietnamese, we all liked what we got. My husband and I were particularly pleased with the coconut soup which is harder to find by us than expected. This was one of the worst Thai food I have eaten and more than that the callousness of packing such terrible food for paying customer should be reviewed. My pad thai was some 2 day old old pad thai just reheated and stuffed in box smelly intensely fishy and the noodles was just a congealed mess, I could not eat 2 bites of this nor separate the noodles from each other. Basil chicken rice was so bland and definitely not freshly made either. Massaman curry was some 20 pieces of tofu with a couple of veggies thrown in and filled less than 1/2 container with very very little gravy portion, tasted ok. Such terrible quality food and each dish was $15+ , unacceptable and I hope unless they fix this they don't deserve my money or business nor anyone else's. read more

This place is terrible. Ordered from here via DoorDash, and man, what a miserable experience. My wife ordered a boba drink, came frozen solid and filled only about half the cup it was in ($6). She ordered a bottled root beer ($2.25) we got a can of AW. I got the pad Thai, it must've been the worst pad Thai I've ever had. Bland and flavorless with rubbery chicken. The wife ordered pineapple fried rice, it was mall Chinese store fried rice (but worse) with chunks of canned pineapple thrown in it. It was somehow even more flavorless than the noodles. All in all just a really poor experience all around with no redeeming qualities. Will not order from here again. read more

Viet Thai Cuisine is a well designed Asian house just off the Pa Pike in Horsham. Lots of stone and metal, and even a wall of pussy willow branches. A semi-private dining room was off to the side. Service is warm and precise, and the menu offers a fairly broad cross section of dishes from Vietnam and Thailand. In such "fusion" locales, the question always is whether it is really "fusion," or more confusion? The staff we saw was Thai, and we took that as a suggestion to stay close to the menu from their homeland, just to be safe. Besides, we have been to many very good Vietnamese shops in and around Philly, and our Thai options were always more limited. We ordered Coconut Soup (w/ Tofu), Summer Rolls (Veggie), and Salmon in Red Curry Sauce for sharing. The soup had the sweetness from the coconut and the hot bite of lemongrass, with plenty of veggies. It was quite good, and was slurped away quickly. The summer rolls were also top notch, with a thin strip of tofu holding the rest of the contents together. The peanut dipping sauce was excellent with thin chili shavings and ground nuts sitting on top, looking like calligraphy (see photo). If there was anything that missed the mark, it was the salmon, which was slightly overcooked, and was drier than desired. Still, the presentation was lovely, and the surrounding elements on the plate along with the red curry, redeemed the fish to some extent. We were enjoying our time here, and decided to extend it with a fried banana dessert. It came in the guise of spring rolls with a large scoop of Bassett's Vanilla Ice Cream melting on top. I brought my mother here for lunch today in search of great pho and I found it at Viet Thai Cuisine. When you walk into the restaurant you can smell the delicious food. Even those who came in right after commented about how good it smelled. There were about 12 other tables filled with people and only one waitress. Therefore, the service was slow but understandable for one person. She was very pleasant and answered all of our questions regardless. We both ordered off the lunch combinations where you get to choose an appetizer, main dish and fountain soda/Thai iced tea for $11 each. I ordered the vegetarian spring roll and Pho(no meat) and the Thai iced tea. My mom ordered the shrimp blankets and chicken pineapple fried rice. I was very pleased with my meal. The pho broth was delicious and didn't skimp on the noodles or sprouts. They give you the essentials to put in as well: jalapeños, lime, spicy sauces. I am sure they would give you more if needed. I later asked the waitress and she said the serving was a small which was more than enough food. I can only imagine how big the large would be. My mother said she really liked her rice as well. She's not much of a commenter on food but ate most of it so I'll take that as a good thing. She liked the shrimp blankets which were individual shrimps wrapped and fried. There was a lot of Thai food I am excited to try next time as well (massaman curry, pad Thai , etc). The restaurant is also by Byob. More incentive to return again! read more

It's been some time since my last visit here and the food ordered tonight was outstanding. Maybe the best visit to this restaurant, overall. I had the Beef Lemongrass Soup/Bun Bo Hue. It is usually a spicy soup but it was mild. They did include a very small garlic pepper paste for spice. You may wish to get a bit extra. There was a nice portion of meat and very pleasing the noodles included were a medium size. Usually they are very large/thick. I much prefer this size noodle. Very fresh veggies and tasty lime. The Fortune Bags app were very good as were the Spring Rolls (Fresh Shrimp Roll/Summer Roll). I have had occasions at other restaurant where the shrimp were mealy. Not tonight. Perfect proportions of noodle to shrimp to veg, too. I have eaten at most of the Vietnamese restaurants between here and Little Saigon in Philly, with a few in the Northeast of Philly. The suburbs usually "American" things up quite a bit. I'm very pleased a coworker took me to Washington St. for my first Pho soup bowl and the few years after on a quite regular basis. It has been a great marker to put all the others up against. Around here, there is no pig blood or extra fat in the soups like you can get downtown. Maybe you can if they were asked but it is not a menu option. That really is for the traditionalists. This bowl of Bun Bo Hue hit the mark between both worlds , just right. read more

The soup was served luke warm. It should be served hot so the raw meat finishes cooking. 2. The soup was bland and bad tasting. 3. They put a few scraps of meat. Which is a huge rip off considering it was $9.75. 4. The size was very small. I'm used to ordering the small and barely finishing it. They did offered me the large for $2 more. My father and I just ordered takeout over the phone. The man on the phone was EXTREMELY rude to my dad. My dad was simply asking a few questions about the menu and the man was very impatient. My dad asked if there was a certain item on the menu and the guy said "are you looking at the menu? we don't have that." in a SUPER sarcastic tone. and then my dad asked what he recommended and he said "I don't know. I don't know you." again, very rudely. Overall he was curt and these are just 2 examples. I don't care if you were having a bad day and couldn't control your little temper.
