Didn't expect such a nice restaurant in a small plaza. The recommended mushroom/spinach/crab chunk appetizer, lobster bisque soup, sea bass surprise special, Po Le penne, every dish is carefully prepared and served. Service is excellent, they give you space but passes what you need, oh, they provide hot water as well.

The best dining experience I've had in a long time. On arrival, the family owned staff welcomed me with such hospitality. It felt like I was invited over to their home for dinner. Intimate dining setting. The food was delicious. Though I started dinner not feeling too hungry, I cleared my plates. Looking forward to many more dinners here!

Excellent cuisine and staff! We were a walk in with no reservation. The staff was accommodating and seated us as there was a no-show/cancellation. We were seated in the covered outdoor seating area. Had a great ambiance. Ordered grilled artichoke appetizer and seafood linguini. Flavorful! Ideal for date nights and family dinners In terms of cost, it is $$

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Po Le Cucina, a charming restaurant in Lower Gwynedd, PA, that offers a unique BYOB experience. From start to finish, our evening was filled with delightful surprises. To kick things off, we savored the Figs wrapped in prosciutto, a fantastic specialty dish that set the tone perfectly. The raw oysters were accompanied by two distinct sauces - a tangy homemade cocktail sauce and a refreshing oil-vinegar-based sauce with shallots, adding a burst of flavor to our meal. The Calamari Special, featuring fiery sautéed calamari with generous jumbo lump crabmeat in a Fra Diavolo sauce, was a spicy delight, beautifully balanced by the abundance of crab. The Clams Casino, topped with chopped clams, onions, tomatoes, and bacon, was a standout dish, but the true star of the evening was the Softshell Crabs. Incredibly fresh, perfectly crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside, they left a lasting impression. I opted for the chef's signature dish, the Seafood Linguine, for the main course. It featured a medley of shrimp, calamari, clams, and scallops in a white wine sauce that was robust and infused with seafood stock, achieving culinary perfection. For dessert, we enjoyed cappuccinos accompanied by scrumptious cranberry biscotti, a heavenly crème brûlée with its rich, creamy texture and satisfying crack of caramelized sugar, and a decadent chocolate mousse cake that satisfied our sweet tooth. The desserts truly showcased the chef's skill in creating confections that left us wanting more. Adding a personal touch to our experience, the chef, after whom the restaurant is named, came out to speak with our table. It highlighted the genuine passion and dedication behind the dishes we enjoyed. The restaurant's atmosphere was cozy and inviting, fostering friendly conversations among diners. The outside seating under a tent provided a comfortable and intimate dining setting. A standout aspect of our visit was the friendly and attentive restaurant staff, making it feel like a welcoming family-run establishment. Both the son and daughter actively contributed to our enjoyable evening, offering excellent recommendations throughout our meal. Overall, Po Le Cucina offers exceptional food and genuine hospitality, creating an unforgettable dining experience where great flavors meet warm, welcoming, ambience

As Lee knows I've been dining here too many times to count.. Truly my favorite restaurant, hands down. Po and his family create an experience others could only dream.. The most attentive staff in addition to amazing hand made pasta and fresh seafood/meat. It's abundantly clear every dish is made with care and love. And don't forget about the cookies...

I love love love this restaurant. The service is at the top of my list and the food is also up there. Every dish I ordered was a pleasant surprise for my taste buds. I'd say this place is a must try for anyone in the area. I literally have dreams about how good this place is. Everything that I ordered I would recommend, calamari special, artichokes marinated, the seafood linguini, the soft shell crab. This place is *chefs kiss*

It was my friend's birthday and we had such a wonderful meal. My friend ordered an appetizer and main course that was special of the day which she loved. I ordered the arugula salad and the seafood linguine in red sauce. The seafood was so fresh, it melted in my mouth. We were so full we had no room for dessert but since they knew it was my friend's birthday they brought out a strawberry on a plate with a candle on it for her to blow. That was sweet. We love that this place is a BYO! Bring a bottle of your favorite wine

Wow. Delicious plates. Friendly family-operated restaurant. This was one of my favorite restaurant experiences. You can tell the recipes came from the soul since the flavors were deep and detailed. I ordered a seafood ravioli with the soft-shell crab appetizer. The crab was crispy and savory; except, it was only half a crab, and it would be even better whole. The seafood ravioli broth was just delightful, light, creamy and aromatic. There was a good amount of scallops and shrimp and the ravioli was chewy and delicious (I wish there were more!) The family who owns this restaurant is kind . The head chef even came to greet everyone and hand out free cookies which were just as beautiful as the rest of the dinner, and we chatted about his recipes and experience cooking. This place is a hidden gem. Please check it out!

However, they offer a "waitlist," which can be helpful. Or do we as we do, and just get there as early as 5pm (that's toddler living, baby). Boy did this place fill up around 6:30pm. I typically lean towards the mediterranean options when I dine here, but they really have such a great variety. From pizza, to pasta, salads, or even burgers. We started with the Mediterranean combo platter which came with all the yummies- Humus, Baba Ganush, Tabbouleh, Falafel, Stuffed Grape Leaves & feta (plus, cucumbers for our gluten free diner). All to die for. As for entrees, our tiny queen got chicken fingers and fries- $17 is kinda crazy for a kids meal if I'm being honest, but it's a large portion. I went with the filet souvlaki which was so tasty- especially the tzatziki sauce. My mom went with the leg of lamb platter, and J got a greek salad- add chicken. Enjoyable, all around. For dessert, the tiny queen requested the brownie with vanilla ice cream and the birthday girl (my mom) opted for the lemon cake. Everyone's bellies were very happy by the end. My only complaint are some of the prices and upcharges. $4 add cucumber because someone is gluten free is crazy. Nonetheless, this will not stop us from returning. There are so many options to please everyone!

The ground lamb didn't overpower the already expertly executed hummus and added fantastic depth and richness. We also sprung for the grilled calamari tubes and the chef did a great job of not overcooking while achieving an excellent char. We shared the baked cod and the spice was delicate and perfect. Using cured lemon was a very clever idea as the sauce was not too strong but still had depth; the saffron and turmeric were well balanced. The fish itself was NOT overcooked and flaked perfectly. The vegetables were also executed well and cooked so they could be eaten with the same bite. The star of the show was still the cook on the fish with the wonderful sauce. The sever gave us some Moroccan mint tea which was also wonderful. We will be making the drive from the Maine Line to just to dine here again.

The service was incredibly friendly and gracious and the ambiance charming. We started with hot appetizers of roasted artichokes, pan fried Halloumi cheese, Spanakopita and an evening special hummus with spiced, minced lamb served with warm pita. All so delicious we were tempted to forego our main courses of moussaka, lamb kebab and delicious lemon/caper cod served over a bed of roasted root vegetable. Desserts, celebrated with a happy birthday candle on a scrumptious chocolate/hazelnut cake , walnut baklava and Turkish coffee made the evening complete. You can tell Daniel (the owner) actually cares about how everything runs. The place is clean, organized, and everything flows smoothly without feeling rushed. And Christina... she's seriously the best. Super friendly, easy to talk to, and actually helps guide you through the menu. She was on point with the specials and made great recommendations. We even got into a conversation about her trip to Peru, which was a really cool touch it felt natural, not forced, and made the whole experience better. We started with the Leche de Tigre, and it was a perfect opener, fresh, citrusy, and packed with flavor. You get that brightness from the lime with just the right kick, plus the calamari added a nice texture. We also tried one of the specials, the causa, which was light but still full of flavor and a great way to start. For the mains, we went all in. The Cowboy Steak (18 oz bone-in ribeye) was easily the highlight, cooked right, super flavorful, and paired with the huancaína risotto and that huacatay butter... yeah, that combo is no joke. We also had the pollo a la brasa (special, marinated 24 hours), and you can tell it was super juicy, well-seasoned, and done right. We also had the pasta con mariscos, and this one deserves its own mention. Homemade pasta with shrimp, calamari, and mussels in a chupe-style tomato broth rich, flavorful, and comforting without feeling too heavy. Definitely one of those dishes you keep going back to. And I'm not even exaggerating... the table bread with the butter? We were eating like it was part of the main course. That butter is ridiculously good. Dessert sealed it. The lava cake with lucuma ice cream was warm, rich, and balanced out perfectly by the ice cream. We also tried the house-made guanábana sorbet, which was light, refreshing, and the perfect way to finish after a heavy meal. The vibe is what really ties it all together. It's casual enough to hang out with friends and talk, but still nice enough for a date night or bringing family. It doesn't try too hard, and that's exactly why it works. Overall, everything just clicked: food, service, atmosphere. No weak spots. Definitely coming back. This version is clean, structured, and reads like someone who actually understands what they're talking about, not just listing food.

When we arrived, we were seated right away. I'm never sure what I would like to order, and most of the time I resort to what is familiar. Seems like when I do order something different, I'm usually disappointed. Well, unfortunately it happened again! I decided to try the "Tomahawk Porkchop" for a change. It comes with charred carrots and I also got Au Grautin potatoes to go with it. This porkchop is "Huge" and I must say.....presents very well! (See pics). But when I tried to cut it or bite into it, my teeth bounced right back. This porkchop was tough and not done. Same thing for the carrots. They were charred but raw. I was so disappointed. I complained, but didn't demand that they take it back, nor did they offer. I just decided to take it home and finish cooking it for the next day. I simmered it in a covered pan for about 20 minutes or so, added the carrots for about 10 more minutes and it was delicious. That's all they need to do.....just finish cooking it! My family all enjoyed their meals with no complaints. They all got: Steak Penne Pasta, Lobster Fondue Salmon with Au Gratin potatoes and Filet Mingon with mushrooms. I can say my Au Gratin potatoes were really good and chessey! Lastly we ordered a huge piece of cake called "The Big Daddy"! It was enough to share and it was moist and delicious!! Even though my meal was almost uneatable, (until I finished cooking it), I really enjoyed myself and would go back and not order the porkchop! P.S. The wait Staff is very nice and personable and the overall restaurant is very beautifully decorated.
