They took me in quickly, used clean tools, Tu was careful with my nails and I was in and out with a gel manicure in about 45 minutes. Parking was on the street but ample and available. An archaic looking gel UV light was used for the gel setting and I thought that could've used an upgrade. However, their gel polish products are of quality so the color has stayed on nicely and lasted. I felt the price could've been dropped a tad but inflation is among us I guess. They took credit card and I was able to add a tip so that was a nice thing to be able to do and not get any shade for not having cash like some other nail salons throw down. This place is amazing! I was looking for a new nail salon and I was reading the reviews for this place and decided to try them out. Even though it was a Monday, I decided to call ahead and ask for availability and miraculously they had an opening that very hour for a simple gel manicure and to fix one broken nail with acrylic. I was on the phone with Liena and was helped by her husband, Leon. It was my first time getting acrylics done, granted it was only one nail. I never got it because it's kind of terrifying from the videos I've seen with the electric file and such. Super painless and quick! I sat there amazed for a few minutes about how the acrylic made my once broken and shortened thumb nail look just like the other nail lengths. I got my nails done and had lovely conversations with the pair of them! I went back again two days later to get a pedicure and the girl who helped me was also super nice and lovely! I'm super ticklish and she was very patient with me while I gripped the chair and squirmed around while laughing. I'm sure she had an entertainment from that as well, lol. Neither of the times I went had any pain or discomfort. No worries about any silences unless you prefer so. All of them are super easy and enjoyable to talk to. This nail salon is amazing. I've been putting off getting my acrylic fill for weeks. I stopped in as a walk in hoping they could maybe fit me in, seeing the sign said appointment only. They did fit me in and they not only that but fixed two broken nails, I got complemented less then a hour of how good my nails looked. I finally found my go to nail place! I've been trying new places in LA for the past two years and have not had any luck finding a good place until I came across Hailey's Nails. When it comes to my manicures and pedicures, I look for a place that does a spectacular, not just mediocre, job and also has great customer service. I also judge the place by how long my gel manicures last. This nail place is exactly what I need in a nail place - perfect nails and amazing customer service. The first time I got a gel manicure by Leon, it lasted three weeks! Besides my nails growing out, it actually still looked perfect after three weeks with no chips or peeling. The nail technicians here make sure the gel is flawless by using a paintbrush with acetone to erase any imperfections after each layer - talk about perfection. They have a wide selection of gel colors to choose from. The prices are fair too. Get a manicure/pedicure combo to save a couple of dollars. A couple of things to note: -They only take tips in cash. -You can park on the street in front of the nail salon or in the parking lot next to the donut place. I'm super picky when it comes to getting my nails done because I've been going to the same girl for 10 years and am used to the way she does my nails. Unfortunately she is no longer doing nails in the area and I've been searching for somewhere new to go. I looked on Yelp and found Hailey's Nails. The reviews were great and the work looked very clean. It also happened to be next door to where I used to go to get my nails done. I made an apt the day before for the following day for a pedicure and gel manicure and appreciate that they were so accommodating for a last minute apt. I walked in and waited about 10-15 minutes, but that was fine because it was my first time here and they had TONS of gels to choose from and, me being me, I needed awhile to choose. They have this huge wall of gel and powder options and all the colors on swatches to see how they would look on your nail. I didn't get anyone's name here, but the girl who did my toes did a great job and was really friendly. I got my gel soaked off at the same time and the woman who did my hands was the owner. I like how they don't make you sit there and cross your arms over to get your hands done while getting a pedi, they actually move from one side to the other and I really appreciated that because other places make you fold and move your arms around and it's not very comfortable. I wish I had a photo of my nails before. I had gel on for a MONTH and it lasted pretty ok, but my nails were starting to break on the sides and chip. The owner did a wonderful job on my gel mani and put a lot of time and detail into cleaning them and polishing. One nail was cracked really bad and she applied acrylic to save it and thankfully she did because it's nice and hard. Sadly my thumb nail has already cracked after my mani, but it's not her fault because I didn't think it was so bad and just had her glue it, I should have done acrylic on that one too. I absolutely loved the outcome of my mani and pedi and I'm so excited about all the color options and the fact that they actually have olive green gel! That color is so hard to find. The only thing I didn't like was the numerous signs everywhere saying not to use your cell phone during service. I totally understand that during a mani, but during a pedi I just want to sit down and relax and check emails and etc. Also other than the radio, It was also pretty quiet inside and the workers don't really talk or make much convo. I don't mind this because I can tell they are very into their work and I can sit there and relax, but the silence just felt a little awkward. Prices are very reasonable. I've been here twice now and it's by far the best place to get your nails done in the area. Leon does the most precise gel manicure I've ever had and Mika was so thorough and gentle with my gel pedicure. The best thing about this place is they listen to you. I have oily nails and need my nail sanded before gel is put on so it can say. I loved this small little nail salon! I'm so glad the place I wanted to go to wasn't opened till later on in the day. I called this place to see if they had any availability for the same day in an hour. They said yes, I came in and was sat right away. Manicure and pedicure came out to 60 and I gave a 20 tip. I loved how nice the people were, I never once felt like they were talking about me. The gentleman didn't even make me cross my arms in the same direction so he could sit on one side while doing my nails, even though I offered. He insisted on getting up to move to each side everytime he worked on a different hand. The lady working on my pedicure really did try her best to fix my ugly toe (the nail grows upward instead of straight). Most people who do my toes usually just paint over it but not her, she sanded it down to make it look as normal as possible. I can't tell you how many times I nodded off because I was so relaxed here. I actually felt bad that I kept jolting to try and stay awake! I returned to haileys hoping for them to fix some crappy nails that I got from a nearby nail salon named H20 and of course I left soooo happy!!!!
