Nothing's better than Mexican Coca-Cola in the bottle
Sunday P.

So my son is a vegan and turned us on to this restaurant. It has a large vegan menu as well as a regular menu. The food is absolutely delicious. It's a tiny little place in Williamsburg Brooklyn. The waitress was so adorable and never took the smile off her face. She worked fast. Her English was great and she seemed genuinely happy. I took the star off because I don't like spicy food and unfortunately both vegan items I had were spicy. They were delicious but they were spicy. I didn't even have the heart to tell her they were. I guess this was their version of not spicy. . I will definitely be back

I had been looking forward to trying this spot for a while. It was kind of a mixed bag. The restaurants small and cute. The servers were very sweet and we were sat and greeted very quickly. But boy, oh boy, that may have been the longest I've ever waited for food. There were two other tables but apparently many to-go orders. Regardless, our food took an astonishing 45 mins to finally arrive (an order of enchiladas and 4 tacos). The food itself was mostly good. The chicken taco was a bit dry but the others were good and ALL were very nicely flavored. The enchiladas were tasty as well. I think I may try take out from them but, perhaps avoid dining in house for fear of more long waits.

My friend and I were nearby and searching for Mexican cuisine. Before we sat down, a frequent customer convinced us to stay and eat. I'm so glad we chose this establishment! The sat outdoors because we had a baby boys with us, the weather was perfect for an early dinner. The mango margarita was delicious! The guacamole and chips had great flavor. Shrimp Taco: the best I've ever tasted in my entire life and I cant stop thinking about them. Chicken Taco: soooooo delicious and second best. Fish Taco: average, but good The waitress was attentive and friendly, amazing service. This is the only Mexican establishment I will be eating in when I'm in the area! A MUST TRY!

Forgot to take a picture of the tostadas which are two per order, stacked with beans, cotija, sour cream, lettuce ect, delicious. Small space but I was shocked the food was good. Will return to try more of the menu. Didn't catch the servers name but she was super nice and bilingual . Solid spot didn't expect from a Mexican place in "Williamsburg".

A friend asked me out to an impromptu dinner and knowing she has twins and a business I redressed in joined her at Haab. My friend has been telling me about their burritos, guacamole, and fresh tortilla chips for ages exclamation poit's! I love Mexican food and I tell you this place is one of the best I've had since my trip to San Antonio a few years ago. Anytime I see enchiladas on a menu I am going to get them. I love them, though the dairy does not love me back. There was a nice drink menu, alcoholic and non alcoholic. My friend got a fancy new hibiscus lemonade and I went with the tamarind Margarita. The food came out quickly, fresh and very hot (enchiladas are served in a special bowl). We enjoyed everything immensely. The staff is down-to-earth and friendly. Definitely worth coming back for more!! Thanks Haab staff for a great evening!

The veganand non vegan dishes were fantastic, and the drinks were exceptional. The staff provided excellent customer service, and Esmeralda was particularly outstanding. My family and I love this place. All of the Margrairas are amazing

I cannot get over how good the food was! I could not believe how many vegan options they had! Great place to take vegans and non vegans! The California burrito was WOWWWWW and the nachos were amazing!! Everything is made from scratch. The seasonings and flavors are incredible. The wait was well worth it!! They are a very sweet family and the space was very cute and decked out in Mexican decor. Coming back soon!!

Outstanding. We're from Texas, eat a lot of Mexican food and we've been all over NYC looking for the best spot and this is it. Amazing service, amazing food, amazing prices. 10/10. Love this place, it's the best around without a doubt. Will be returning (we live far away, it's worth the trip).

This place has skyrocketed into first place as my favorite taco spot. It is located on a quieter street in East Williamsburg so it feels less crowded with traffic and people. It is cash only, so make sure you hit the ATM before coming! From what I remember, there isn't really anywhere to sit inside, but there is limited covered seating outdoors if you want to dine-in. The food is pretty affordable but you may want 3-4 tacos if you're really hungry. They have a ton of vegan/vegetarian options which is amazing. Everything was so flavorful and well prepared. I truly had such a great first experience here, I can't wait to come back again and again.

Surprised to see they added a vegan menu since I was last here. Seitan nachos are some of the best I've ever had, vegan or otherwise.

Everyone that works there is super attentive and for how busy they are they always make sure to check up on your table. Their tacos are extremely delicious, they don't hold back with make sure each taco is full of any kind of meat that you get! Full of flavor and just looking at them reminds you why they're the best. Some other notable things that you should get is the quesadillas and the nachos they have. I'll have to keep coming back to try other things. Great place for sporting events as well as I was here with a group to watch Brazil vs Morocco and stayed to watch the Knicks win right after and become champions!

This neighborhood gem offers an industrialized minimalist form of decor with pops of color and art. Cozy but roomy, the bar area had mostly 2 seater tables and a few with high chairs. We recently went for a birthday brunch. Restaurant Week was still in effect but we decided to choose from the regular brunch menu. Place was low key and giving neighborhood vibes. The service was 10 STARS! Our waitress was extremely attentive and kind. We were also checked on by a second staff member who I think may have been a manager but cannot be certain. We started with cocktails and they serve chips and salsa gratis. I had the Jalapeno and Hibiscus Margarita and my friend ordered the Pepper Margarita with Strawberry and Chipotle. Mine was a bit on the sweet side without a hint of tequila. My friend's drink definitely was the better of the two. Not overly sweet and definitely a flavor of tequila was present. We also ordered a guacamole. I must say it was quite small and barely served 2 people. I suggest if more than 2 guests are part of the experience, order more than one. For my entree, I requested a market salad and 2 veggie tacos with a side of birria consume. Salad was very fresh and I am sure was made to order as opposed to premade a week prior and waiting in a fridge to be served. My tacos were average but satisfying. The consume was a bit disappointing as it was more of a water/broth based and not of a typical gravy consistency. It was not exciting. My friend's entree was the highlight of the experience. She had the brisket quesadilla. Never have I seen a quesadilla with a crispy outside such as this. A culinary masterpiece indeed. She consumed it all and not one complaint afterward. Delish. We did receive a complimentary Churro plate for the birthday celebration. They were drizzled with caramel and berries. Served warm, they were a dream for the palate. I did use the bathroom which was a single stall. It was clean enough but not well lit. The biggest downfall of my experience was the temperature of the restaurant. I understand it is summer, however, there was no A/C and the inside was extremely hot. I sweated through my entire experience. Even the bathroom felt like 100 degrees. We did not complain but our waitress noticed and brough a fan out to circulate the air. They do have ceiling fans but honestly I did not feel them. The management/owner should consider more temperature control methods during the hotter months as it was quite uncomfortable. To sum it up, I thought this experience was mostly positive and would patronize it again.

I've tried all the other hot places that have shown up in the last 5+ years to much acclaim, and none of them top the Campechano taco at Ramirez. Service is always super fast and super nice, shepherding a shocking amount of people through. Perfect cool vibe mixing a great CDMX taqueria and chic Greenpoint. I was pleasantly surprised and actually really enjoyed the tacos! We ordered the Al Pastor (3.8/5), which had really good flavor and a nice char to the meat. We also tried the Suadero (3.5/5), which was also good! It wasn't overly rich or overpowering, and the meat was cooked really well. We also ordered the Consomé Ranchero, which we enjoyed as well! It was flavorful and even had some hominy at the bottom, which was a nice touch! It's a small area to eat. Counters all around, but people eat the tacos quick and we were able to get seated once a small group left. It can definitely get packed if there's a lot of people. Most of all, what I really appreciated with every bite is that I wanted more and that it was so unique compared to anything else that I had ever tried.
