My friend and I came here for lunch. The reason we stumbled upon this place me because I was in search of vegetarian paella. Whenever I travel I always like to eat the local food, but the vegetarian version.
As we were walking down the street I decided to look at menus posted outside the restaurants and just so happened to stumble upon this place. I was immediately attracted the the large green vegan V's on the menu, then I say it vegetable paella.
The paella was a large portion, I wasn't able to finish it all. It was presented really nicely in a hot cast iron dish. The rice had a rich flavor. It had plenty of vegetables throughout; carrots, lima beans, peas, green beans, and artichokes. I was left satisfied and felt like I got my paella fix.
I also ordered a Sangria. It was filled with plenty of fruit, was sweet enough but not intoxicatingly sweet like they can be sometimes. I recommend getting the sangria if you come. It was a decent price around 3 € for a cup.
My friend orders a potato frittata and pumpkin filled ravioli. Both of the dishes were insanely good, especially the potato frittata.
For tourists, they do have an English version of the menu and can speak English.
If you are in Madrid, you are a vegetarian, and you want paella I recommend coming here. read more
