I know you're supposed to do wine and cava in Spain, but I just needed a good cocktail, and this place had been on my to-try list. It happened to be right next door to the Tablao we went to, so it was perfect to fill the gap between the show and dinner. We were able to walk in for the bar around 7pm on a weekday. Cocktails are served in very cool vessels, including one that is the face of Bad Bunny! - Heart of the garden: tequila based, with beets, so it's red, served in vessel resembling a human heart - The last relic: whisky and sherry based, smoky, balanced but stronger Drinks were complex and very cool in their presentation. If you don't want alcohol, they also have lots of mocktails. Our cocktails were only €13-14 each, which is a hot deal since by US standards (no tax, tip, health mandate). They have a full menu, but we were headed to dinner. Next time! read more

We had a great evening in this bar ! The decor is special and unique , the servers are professional and this is close to a 4.5/5 than a 4/5 The place is a bar with food and we got two of their cocktails which were pretty good - the samba (capirinia style ) was not bad (3.6/5) but the santa -Anna was much better (4.2/5) For food we tried the following : 1) burrata - very generous ball of burrata but the strawberries are just not a great companion . I did miss the classic tomato's (3.5/5) 2) potato omelette w truffles - this is their most famous dish and indeed it was excellent . The truffle does add a lot to our (4.1/5) 3) oxtail lasagna - a very good dish - the meat was cooked to perfection . Could use more tomatoes and cheese though (4/5) We ordered a bit too much for two people , I would stay w 2 to split . Altogether recommended ! read more

If you are in Madrid, DO NOT get sucked into the tourist trap that I think this restaurant is. While the ambiance is cool & I liked that they offered a tasting menu, the food itself wasn't anything great (the desserts were particularly bad & came out as if they had been sitting out all night before getting to our table). Service was awful (our server literally left during our tasting menu & I guess didn't tell anyone to take over our table because we just stopped getting dishes at one point). The vibe is super tacky (the waitress stands next to your table & sings karaoke to you & they bring in club promoters to bother you at your table with invites to events). Given we were traveling in Madrid, I was extremely disappointed in this dinner. The only saving grace was the scallops dish which was interesting & tasty. Positives: atmosphere, tasting menu Negatives: bad food, bad music, bad service, overrated read more

This place was amazing. Our group of four was seated early without a reservation, but I can see how this place gets crowded quickly! Service was quick, we were missing one member of our group and our server came a few times to check in on us while we had cocktails. The drinks here are over the top and delicious with interesting themed mugs. There's everything from Barbie to the Kraken. Food portions are small, but everything we had was delicious and well plated. Everything was really fun and we had a great time connecting with other guests each time a plate came out. Fries arrived in a potato shaped bowl, sandwiches on a duck platter- everything was weird and whimsical. We had a great time and we'll be back next time we're in Madrid. read more

Pretentious workers, average food. Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere. Not the same amazing experience that the rest of Madrid showed us. read more

This is a place you will tell your grandchildren about. That time you sipped a nectar-of-the-gods cocktail from Ramón del Valle-Inclán's head chalice. When you tasted a delectable pork bao on the back of a dragon. This is where you will wish to have your eulogy delivered. We were loving our visit to Madrid, but this visit was epic. Everything about Inclán Brutal is creative, delicious and charming. Best of all was the realization that the bar's namesake looks exactly (truly exactly) like our friend from Valencia. Come! Get a drink that sounds too weird to be true. It will change you. read more

The signature drinks are fun AND delicious. The appetizers are great. The burratta was really good. The pig foot ravioli and oxtail lasagna were excellent. Tiramisu presentation was great and tasted delicious. Chocolate desert was excellent. Good service. Fun atmosphere read more

Let's start with the attitude received at the door. When we arrived for our reservation it was completely empty. She chose to seat us directly next to the bathroom. I said we don't want to sit here next to the bathroom she replied by this isn't the bathroom it's a closet and walked away. One minute later a woman walks out of said closet and it is indeed the bathroom (perhaps she meant water closet). We ask someone else to be moved and they again fought us saying tables were reserved but we have a reservation and it's empty. Eventually moved to a new table. This place is more about the way it looks and the funky plates and glassware to appear hip for social media than the quality of the food or service. The food we had was average but the service was poor. And man on man is it overpriced. So many better options without the attitude. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere read more

This is definitely a place who have to check out. I had a peppercorn margarita with two different apps. The atmosphere and service was fantastic. They want you to scan the menu and pick out what you like and then they look at your order on your phone. A little weird but so is the place. But a cool weird vibe with fantastical environment. I'm so glad I went. read more

How fun is this place?!? I am so glad I found this place on yelp. We were not hungry when we came in but needed a place to sit before heading to the airport. Ended up having so much fun seeing what other people ordered and ordered food on top of drinks. ARROZ MELOSO DE PATO Y TRUFA (Truffle duck risotto) - Tis is served in a duck thing. The truffle and the creaminess of the risotto made this amazing. Burrata fresca inyectada con emulsión de albahaca (burrata with a tomato and pesto injection)- I would eat this all day everyday. Presentation was A+ with your server injecting the cheese right in front of you. Super cheesy and the sauces were amazing. I literally licked the plate. I need to come back and try everything else. read more

This place is so bad I can't even get the words right to accurately describe it. The service is god awful. My only recommendation is to avoid at all costs. There are so many other options in the area, don't waste your time (and you will indeed waste A LOT of time) on this joint. read more

Extremely garish and vibrant atmosphere! This is a swonky spot for young adults and friends. Drinks are excellent and have a very creative presentation. The food is also exciting in presentation, but some of the tastes are overpowering due to a medley of unique sauces (balsamic vinegar +soy sauce) The burrata was very fresh and delicious. But again it was served with pickled strawberries; which added to the salty- undertones off all the cuisines. read more

Had an amazing time at InClan Brutal with our wonderful waiter Vladimir who spoke English with us when we needed it and had great recommendations. My favorite dish was probably the kimchi scallops which were absolutely delicious and so fresh, but honestly I don't think you can go wrong with anything on this menu. The cocktails were also delicious and super fun. Prices overall are super reasonable given the quality of food and how delicious it is. Make a reservation in advance!! I will be back to try more items soon I am sure!! read more

I cannot begin to say enough great things about InClan Brutal! While we did not have any food, it sure did look, and smell wonderful! We went for a pure liquid diet, and were not disappointed! We were glad we came here while it was dark out, because it really set the mood inside, with the ceiling covered in roses, and the exotic drinks, shiny tables, and beautiful art on the walls. My husband and I had been to their partner bar, and had too many sugary drinks, so he requested something not sweet, and the server sure delivered! His giant, smoking dino egg arrived, much to the pleasure of the curious onlookers! I went for two drinks off the main menu, and he went for one, plus a simple martini, which he said was probably the worst he had ever had, so word to the wise, stick with the menu! The menu drinks were of course show stoppers, but they were huge, and not just all ice, I mean, actually huge! The drink vesicles were of course the stars of the show, and made the experience that much more fun! We had a reservation here first, followed by one at their sister bar. When we arrived, we were told that they were having some technical issues, and that their sister bar could accommodate us, and we could come back later. I explained to them that their sister bar, had already moved my reservation because they said that THEY had an issue too! Well, the hostess, Elena took it upon herself to walk us all the way to their other bar, and made sure we were taken care of, and that InClan would receive us when we came back. This was just so far above and beyond what I would have ever expected, and her kindness was not unnoticed! read more

Fun little spot for cocktails. The drinks are great, but I think it's more about Instagramming their awesome cups that are custom to each drink. Sadly, my smoky Old Fashioned (whatever they called it) came in a boring old glass. Almost ordered something else just for the 'gram. read more

You pay for the experience not the flavor. It was definitely a cool experience. When you step in you feel like it's a different era and the decor is perfection. However, the food left us wanting more and searching for where else to go after and get what we're missing here. The presentation was different and even beautiful. Flavor was not there and missing something to really make an impact. We ordered a variety of food on the menu to get the full experience but nothing we had left a lastly memory. Everything was presented impeccably just didn't taste it in our opinion read more

Fascinating hip, off the beaten path restaurant/bar/place. The decor alone was with the visit. Very eclectic vibes with great music. Drinks are extraordinary and unique to say the least. You will see what I mean when you get there! We had scallops fire touched at table. Great soft tacos served in a panda dish! Steak perfectly cooked and seared with yummy roasted potatoes. Not inexpensive but Totally worth the 100 euros for two. Fun helpful staff too. Go when in Madrid. read more

Tapas - old school *and* new. So this is one of those tapas joints that, at first blush, seems like a bit off the beaten path. And you'd be right - kind of. The menu is just a wee bit twisted - enough to keep it interesting, but not so far out that you wonder what the heck is going on. And the staff is just the right kind of friendly, where they'll happily chat with you if you/they have the time, or ... not (if you/they don't). And yes, the food is actually good (oh those potatoes!). So, do go! read more

The food and drinks here, along with the decor and service were amazing. I was a little hesitant based on the pictures, only because back home in San Diego the trendy-type places are usually just okay. However this place did not disappoint at all. This is a place you go for the atmosphere and for fun pictures. It is exactly what you expect. Every part of the restaurant is thought out. From the selfie esque bathroom, the drinks in interesting cup holders, all the food have interesting bowls and is supposed to be kitsch and camp. This place is for FUN! Expect to take lots of pictures and to be transcended to a different place that is unique in the city. The food was decent but you come here for the gimmicks not the food quality. The food was still good. The squid food item was still fresh and not overly chewy but for 14 euros was a bit small I felt. Otherwise you are coming to take picture with your friends and if thats your expectation it will far exceed it read more

My friends came here because they found it on Instagram. I've never seen such Alice in Wonderland meets Harry Potter meets every fantasy book / movie franchise in a modern night club looking space. It somehow also tied in very well together. They had roses all over the ceiling, mirrors everywhere, a wall of fake books on the outside and a very niche menu where they serve everything in interesting items. Definitely a aesthetics experience. I thought this place would all be looks, but the food was VERY good. We got the tuna bites in a box, wonderful large and filling sangria for a good price. (sangria is cheaper then water in spain) and other delicious tapas. They all filled us up too. I highly recommend this place and would love to come back in the future! read more

We were recommended this place because apparently their paella is really good and the place is always busy, so we made a reservation. Once we arrived at 8, the place was pretty empty, but when we left around 9:30, it was actually super crowded! So I recommend either being there early or making a reservation if you're planning to be there a little later. We ordered the squid ink and seafood paellas, and they were delicious--definitely one of the better paella places. The squid ink was unique and tasted really good, so you have to try this one! It was only €15 per person, and we had four so it was perfect ordering two different paellas. The interior is super cute and modern. It's a cute place for small groups or dates. The service was very good, and they were always attentive. When we finished our meal, one of the servers--probably the manager--gave us free shots in a test tube! Super nice of them. It's conveniently located near Puerta del Sol and definitely a must-try in Madrid! read more

I love you InClan, but I need to be Brutally honest with you. Don't take large parties if you can't handle them. This place is popular so make a reso if you can. We didn't and had to wait maybe 15minutes at 7:30 on a Tuesday so not bad - we started with drinks at the bar. Once we had a table, it took some time to get menus etc which was ok - again, we knew there were some large tables. When food arrived correctly, it was pretty good. That would cover the "bacon clotheslines" and "brutal bao" courses. We ordered croquetas that never appeared, except on the bill. Sad face. We also ordered two different paellas - one seafood, one seafood/chicken. They arrived as the same thing. We returned one and we were told the other was another table's - ok. They replacement was the same as the other two - god bless them, they tried to find chicken in one and failed. I'm no seafood eater so my dinner was 1/2 of a bao. I'm really not trying to find fault here because clearly the staff cares about delivering a good experience. Our waiter was the nicest guy but was totally tied up with other large tables. They did bring us liqueurs at the end as an apology but honestly, I would have really enjoyed something to eat. Correcting the croquetas issue would have taken a million years so we paid and I grabbed a €1 bocadillo on the way home. The rest of my team would probably award 4-5 stars because they liked the all seafood paella. I left hungry so to be Brutal, InClan y'all need to step it up. read more

I will recommend this place over and over. We dined here on a Friday night and immediately got seats for 2 at the bar. The ambience is amazing, the decor is beautiful! We ordered drinks, I got the funky monkey I believe (lavender cream infused alcoholic beverage) and what blew me away was the presentation for every drink. My drink specifically was served in a monkeys head!! See picture. My boyfriends drink was also wonderful. We ordered tapas which were 10/10, absolutely the best tapas we had in our entire trip to Spain. I would fly back to Madrid just to come here again. Service was phenomenal.
