If there was a negative 10, I would choose that score. Most disorganized staff ever. I wanted to buy a blouse size that was on a mannequin on Saturday. They are not allowed to remove anything from a mannequin. They have to tag the item with your name, so when their "visual" crew comes in to work, they would remove it and call you to pick up. This would be Monday. I tried ordering online, can't, restricted as only sold in this store??? It's not a special item just for this area so that makes no sense. So I'm forced to have to try and track this blouse to make sure it isn't sold to someone else. I called Monday, 10AM. Spoke with the on duty Manager, Chelsea, about picking it up. She said she'll check with visual about it and call me back. 3pm, still no call back. I called again. The visual crew, a guy, who does men's clothing, answered. Repeat, have to explain the whole story again. Nobody knows anything, keeps no log book, message area, nothing. He would relay message to manager and women's visual. Said won't be removing blouse until Thursday. Unbelievable! Too late in the day for me to pick up today. An hour later, Chelsea leaves a message saying they removed the blouse and I can pick it up. Again, poor communication between staff. I called her back that evening explaining that I will pick it up Wednesday at 3pm. I said make sure you write that down, advise all other managers, staff coming on duty between now and Wednesday 3pm to make sure it is held. She reassured me, no problem, it has your name on it and will be held till Wednesday afternoon. I even offered to pay now to make sure there is no problem. She said no, which is ridiculous! So, still fear that this is going to be a disaster since there is zero communication going on between employees. Wednesday, I call just before arriving since the only H & M is located in Waikiki with no parking at all. It is a real hassle to come back to pick this up. I'm about 5 minutes away and want it ready to purchase due to parking. They have no idea what I'm talking about. Again, hopeless communication. They put me on hold forever, it rings again, another person answers, no idea what I'm talking about. Ask to speak with Manager on duty since I am now in the store to pick up my item. Well, at this point of pure frustration, nothing is looking up. The kid girl manager comes out, giving me excuse after excuse, she's been off 2 days, no one relayed anything to her, we only hold for 24 hours (first time I heard this), let's search the store, etc. I am FURIOUS at this point. Due to their pathetic lack of recording info, relaying info, zero score for customer service, the blouse has disappeared. Sold to someone else. Furious does not even begin to describe how I feel about H & M's ignoramus policy about their visual crap and not selling the item on the spot. This is going straight to Headquarters about this total debacle. Absolutely unbelievable how ignorant people are nowadays!

We so have a H&M in Oahu. This store is huge. The ground floor is for woman's clothing and the second floor is for men's clothing. I would say this is more a medium to low end clothing store. Most of the items are pretty affordable, trendy and stylish. It is a great addition to the Waikiki shopping. The checkout line is pretty slow. We have to wait over 10 minutes to pay for our stuff when there is a crowd. My wife usually can find a few items when we come to shop here, but I almost never can find anything that I like, but again it is just my taste of clothing. Hey, when you are in Waikiki and too hot outside, come in to enjoy the cool AC and shop a bit. Aloha.

HUGE store! The first floor is primarily women's clothing and there was a great selection. I really liked that the second floor was solely dedicated to men's clothing. My husband was able to find a variety of clothes that he could wear comfortably in hawaii but also back home. The store itself is clean and organized, and the staff were friendly.

H&M is a treasure hunt adventure and I don't get to go to Waikiki very much so whenever I do this is one place I do love to go. It's not only the selection of clothing what I also love is their accessories, they always something cute and affordable it's quite dangerous lol! Beautiful clean store not very large as what we're used to on the mainland but so grateful for its presence here in Hawaii as it gives us more choice in affordability which is always a great thing...thank you!!

H&M really downgrades clothing to the next level. This is even cheaper than shopping at Walmart. Typical T-shirt $5 or less. Men's belts, less than $10. These items are made in the 3rd world. They are cheap because they're cheaply made. They do not survive the washer 3 times. People often talk about global warming but think about it. Shopping at H&M will only accelerate it. 2nd floor the men's department is dimly lit. This particular H&M is trying to save money by cutting down the electricity bill.

There's some controversial reason not to come here. Was it an ad maybe with a monkey and a little african american boy. I guess I was more of a fan of this store when I was a tooth pick coming out of high school. I mean most of the fits are for skinny people with out much muscle development. Even when I was in exceptional shape. My thighs and calfs were too thick for 90% of their pants and my chest and shoulders too wide for their pants. My wife likes their clothes but she was a fit model at some point. The do have some fun accessories for men and some bootleg sneakers. But that's about it for me. I'll just take a browse upstairs while my wife is checking out dressed and such. This time around they had some cool onesie costumes, most notably a ghostbusters one.

Just walking around Waikiki I ran into H&M . I tired on skirt as I was walking out the fitting room I notice it was missing a button. I went looking for the same skirt . But there where none . The guy that worked there he was in the fitting room he was so nice . I did ask for a discount he said Just tell the lady at the front to give you a discount . Ok kool but most of all he was in the Halloween Spirit. He's costume was awesome an the way he has his face done was so kool . I didn't get his name but he's was great thank you

Don't come today. The lines r tooooooo looooong! H&M is a great store...lots of merchandise to choose from...great prices...great stuff to buy for the season....I always vacillate between buying really good quality vs. cheap....problem is when you buy really good quality, you feel like you have to keep it for a long time...so I might just go with cheap! ha ha. Found a cute jacket that I can wear anytime $15 and a "sweater"...really light weight and kind of a blue green...need to get more color into my wardrobe. The place was packed...the staff was nice...the supervisor Mike was great...very friendly and makes you want to go back...some of the staff needs training...one cashier gave my girlfriend a hard time...no excuse for rudeness...hopefully they will smooth things out as they go...just a learning curve. One of my FB friends was bashing H&M for bringing "old styles" to Hawaii. She claims she bought those things in LV and SF last fall and in February...but honestly, do we really care! If it's nice, bring it on!...if it's not, it will sit on the shelf. I'm not offended...some things will be classic cuts and styles..and if it's a good seller, bring it! Good luck H&M....I hope Uniqlo follows your lead....

I was surprised to find that things were priced cheaper than the Once Upon a Child stores we have on the mainland-- particularly the clothes. Speaking of clothes, we found Barbie clothes that normally are $10+ at the store here for only $1.99 new in package! Like new backpacks for like $5.99 and much much more! (loved the $0.99 books). And the quality of the clothing for sale was fantastic for being secondhand-- even the swimsuits. I will say that the store isn't the easiest to navigate (there is A LOT in here) but perhaps that's part of the fun (you could always ask the owner where to locate stuff if you're looking for something in particular). This shop is great way to fill your hotel room with some toys too just incase you have the unfortunate experience of getting sick on vacation or get really badly sunburnt and need a day in (keeps the kiddo happier). Owner was nice too, allowed my daughter to use the restroom. PS If you're a Disney fan there were lots of hidden gems, from Disney pins to Disney purses/packs to jewelry and more!

We did find the tap shoes at about a third of the price of new shoes. What was nice is that she could try them on so we could sure they fit right before we bought them. She tried about six pair before we found the perfect fit. (She is a princess, for sure.) We also picked up a gymnastics leotard for her for a couple bucks. The shop has a small shared parking lot with free parking.

First and foremost, SHOUTOUT TO TITA ARACELI!! The sweetest, most helpful, and real staff member…read moreout there. I came here with a specific design in mind. Most of the shirts here are customized 88 Tee shirts. However, there were also other designs like Snoopy, Punisher, etc. The shirts are organized and categorized by size and each size has a HUGE variety of designs so you really gotta lift the shirts to open and see them. Aside from T-shirts, they have hats, button-up shirts, crop tees, shorts, everything, no matter the size, newborn or adult. The part that shocked me was that I was willing to settle for an oversized male t-shirt. Then, Tita Araceli came up to me without me asking and advised I make it off the shoulder WHICH I did want but didn't know they do it for you, FOR FREE!!! They use their special sharp Japanese scissors from Japan, literally in a special box lmao. She wasn't making ghetto cuts on the shirt. She legit knew what she was doing, stretching the shirt a certain way to get the aesthetic roll-ups, cut it a certain way. I honestly was going to do it myself but I'm so happy Tita Araceli did it!! IF YOU WANT OFF THE SHOULDER, YOU CAN ASK AND NO CHARGER :) I even tried to tip her and she didn't want it, she was just genuinely trying to help. The t-shirt I got was $31. I'm tempted to go back already.

So when I went to purchase my items I completely forgot about the special. I wasn't reminded about it either. I went to Complete Kitchen and bought a couple of items there. The cashier was telling everyone about their sales and the discounts. So I went back to Up and Riding and asked if the items I bought (over $100) were eligible. It's unique. I…read morereally like the cloths they have here. It's like Old Navy but with character. No really I love the T-shirts because of the different characters. The shirt art ranges from Charlie Brown and company, to Marvel or DC, plenty of Japanese anime, and even 70s 80s and 90s cartoon art figures. And if you just want simple casual clothing that's here too. From collared shirts to sweaters, to pleated pants it's here. Prices range from this is cheap to hey this is reasonable. You would think with cheap prices the quality sucks but no. The clothing is very durable and fashionable. The self checkout system is a little different. You dump everything in a cubby and the system itemizes and charges you with what's in the BIN. The only time a salesperson will come to you is to take off the thief sensor. After you pay, go to another counter to fold your cloths and get a shopping bag if you purchased one. Overall five stars. I'm a sucker for action figures. M

Although not at the scale of the Tokyo Ginza flagship, it's one of the global chain's larger stores with an expansive multi-floor space. They offer the Brands Hawaiian Loco line, which is quite a distinct array of T-shirts spotlighting locally renowned businesses like Leonard's Bakery, Hawaiian Airlines, and Zippy's. I even bought one featuring a bowl of Zippy's saimin called Zipmin (Photo 4). I also really liked their line of aloha shirts because designs came from top quality Japanese block prints. I fell in love with one shirt based on Hokusai's "The Great Wave Off Kanagawa". I had never seen one like that before. They even offer opportunities to customize T-shirts and tote bags using exclusive designs from local artists. There's enough here to justify a shopping expedition.
