    Half chicken half steak bowl
    Kit D.

Stopped at Gyroscope because I was craving Greek food and I wanted it FAST. Right off the bat, I felt extremely welcomed-- the staff is so nice and patient!!! I explained that it was my first time, and the manager was so kind to explain what every ingredient was one by one to me. I went for a half regular chicken (though, was eyeing the spicy chicken... next time) and half steak plate. It came with yellow rice, and I added veggies to it. I also added tzatziki. The plate was very decently priced, about $11. Everything tasted very good! The steak was a bit chewy, I enjoyed the grilled chicken more. If I'm ever on Huntington craving Greek food again, I'll be back!

Go-to spot to pick up food. Quick service for a reasonable price, and the portions are enough for two meals. I usually order the falafel which is a little bit dry, but the other parts of the bowl are redeeming.

I ordered two things: a grilled sirloin gyro and zucchini fitters. I LOVED the fritters but was not a fan of the gyro. To begin, all the toppings I requested were not added which was a bit disappointing. I should've gone with tzatziki sauce instead of spicy harissa for a creamier and more refreshing experience. I thought the meat was under seasoned, a bit tough, and undercooked in some parts. The fitters though....those were amazing. The best comparison I could make is to the flavor of onion rings. The consistency is like a clam cake and a biscuit put together. There really isn't much of a zucchini flavor but the caramelized onions they're stuffed with taste amazing. They were fried perfectly. I wish they came with more tzatziki sauce on the side.

Always my go to stop when I need a big, fulfilling lunch. Super friendly staff and a great rewards program ! Their homemade pita is what makes their gyros stand out!

Decent pizza from this place. The dough is nice and thick with a solid crust. Baklava is really flaky and has a lot of honey at the bottom. Would definitely come again

First time customer today. I was helped by a super friendly staff who kindly and patiently guided me through all the options they have. I eventually got a plate with rice, all the veggies, garlic yogurt sauce (fantastic), smoky eggplant sauce ( forgot the name but super good), non spicy chicken, braised lamb, zucchini falafel, grape leaf. All for $13. I loved EVERY SINGLE THING in my plate!!! I can't say enough about this place! Hands down the best Greek food of this kind I've tried! Will be a regular for sure!

Great food for kids and parents! This is one of the few places in Boston that is kid friendly, has good pizza for the kids, really yummy gyros for adults, and good salad for anyone looking to be healthy. The pita bread for the gyros is made fresh, the meat is high quality, and the veggies are really fresh. The portions are huge, and the staff is very friendly. Plenty of seating, as well as festive decor. I plan on taking my family on a regular basis.

Rice tastes too much like butter, it overpowers the rest of the food which is semi-bland. 3/4 of your plate is rice too.

We chose to sit outside; it was a chilly fall evening when we went last year, but we got some lap blankets which was a nice touch, so brownie points for service. My friend and I split the pastitsio (meat pasta dish), kotopoulo (a chicken dish), louza charcuterie, and tiropita (halloumi rolls). The rolls were stuffed with halloumi and were dense in the best way possible. Coupled with the louza charcuterie, the appetizers were a hit. The two entrees were small but mighty - they were packed with rich meats but also featured microgreens, herbs, and other tangy, bold flavors that really balanced the dishes. We got some glasses of Greek orange wine that I can't remember the name of but it paired excellently with the food per our waitress's recommendation. Overall, a solid Greek option if you're in Back Bay! But definitely make a reservation if you can.

We ordered two flavors: Olive Oil & Sea Salt and Caramel & Pistachio, both priced at $7. I'll admit, it's a fun concept and a nice addition to the menu. The Olive Oil & Sea Salt was refreshing and had a subtle savory touch that made it different from your typical frozen yogurt. The Caramel & Pistachio was my favorite of the two, with the crunchy pistachios adding a nice texture and the caramel giving it just enough sweetness. That said, I had a hard time justifying the price. While the frozen yogurt tasted good, the serving size was fairly small, and I never really felt like I was getting $7 worth of dessert. It felt more like an Instagram-worthy upsell than something I'd go out of my way to order again. I'm glad I tried it because I was curious after seeing so many posts online, and now I can officially check it off my list. If you're already at Saloniki and want to try something a little different, I'd say it's worth ordering once just for the experience. Overall, I'd give it 3/5 stars. It's refreshing, unique, and a fun twist on frozen yogurt, but I don't think the value matches the price. I probably wouldn't come back specifically for the frozen yogurt again.

I was going to order one of their pre made bowls but I couldn't resist the freedom of building my own. I went with a super green and brown rice base, harissa chicken as my protein, roasted eggplant, harissa, and crazy feta for the sides, with all the toppings, and a garlic sauce. I got a side of harissa pita chips with a green dipping sauce. It is by far one of the best lunches I have had in my life! There's just so many flavors in one bowl, and everything was very fresh. The harissa chicken is very tender and flavorful. I heard that harissa chips are going away....I am willing to sign any campaign to have them stay on the menu permanently. We did end up getting the seats outside but they really do need more chairs. I'm not sure if they get relocated to other places over time, but I think there were 8 tables (2-4 people) and 4 chairs. The prices are good for the quality of food you're getting. Their drinks are unique and good as well. We mixed a couple lemonades together, which enhanced the flavors.

I am disappointed, from the very start to the end my experience was quite bad. The kitchen did not allow a bread substitution for the sandwich we ordered, they did not do waffles at this location either, and when we got our food the portion sizes were very small. The salmon was very overpriced for how much they offered; $27 for a piece of salmon only a few inches across was insulting, but apparently that is just how it is served there (picture below, you can see the pieces of broccoli are almost as big as the fish!) The other dish we got was the chicken sandwich, which is cut into two halves. The first half was normal but there was basically no chicken on the second half of the sandwich, it was essentially all bread. We brought it up to a manager and they got us a new piece of chicken, which fit entirely alongside the old piece of chicken on the bun because it was so small. On top of that we had to wait around nearly half an hour after finishing and had to flag down a waiter to get our check and go. The service overall was very slow. I will never come back to this restaurant.
