Great food, good prices. Delivery is quick and they are courteous. One complaint is what prevents me giving 5 stars, is when you order, there are no ketchup packets, or plastic forks or napkins. read more

I've been going to this place for years. The fries and gyros are delicious. My favorite is the charcoal calamari. I eat here at least twice a week and the food is still amazing. Great service and friendly people. My definite favorite read more

I'm new to the area and excited about this Quality Greek Souvlaki Restaurant! Addicted to the Perfectly charred meat and lemon marinade. Did I mention the great prices and quick service :) read more

First and foremost, I would like to disclose that I've been an employee to Nikita's place, (who cares) Fontana famous. Bfd. ( Big f_ck n deal) Kati Allo ( disgrace and you can see them on kitchen nightmares( YouTube ) disgraced the whole Whitestone/ Bayside greek community . And last but not least Gyro Corner in Francis Lewis Bayside/ flushing. Now I don't currently work there so this is not bias review. I'm strictly a customer calling. Imade a call from East Elmhurst near LaGuardia Airport. Whattttt!!! They were here in 30 mins or less. The souvlaki was cooked to perfection! Gyro is fresh as always. The Greek meat candy from the Gods with extra tzatziki. Even tough I was 14 mins away by car my food was still warm and very delicious. Some guy named Anastasia anastassholes or something like that. He was super fast with the delivery. He was off the boat Greek but a great guy. As a Greek born in Astoria who knows about good yiro. Not even Astoria gyro places would deliver which were way closer. Time and Time again this Greek landmark comes through with great authentic Greek food with hints of Cyprus in the food. In a reasonable amount of time. Remember to be patient for good food. Hands down best Greek food place. Way better then gyro world. Be weary of guys using shave machines to peel gyro. That's not the traditional way. Their gyro is frozen and the smells like sheep balls. That place is disgusting. Poor excuse of Greek food. Gyro corner is better. Don't believe me try for yourself. You won't be disappointed. The whole staff and ownership is very friendly as well. I've been ordering from them since I was 12 yrs old. Still consistent and still great quality. read more

Wonderful lamb gyro (Guy Fieri would rave about the crusty bits) plate served with a huge Greek salad - . Delicious! Awesome Haloumi grilled to perfection and lemon potatoes so soft and fluffy. Would really benefit from a good website with a better than a photocopied menu that's hard to read. Weekend delivery is slow so jump in the car and go pick it up yourself. read more

BEWARE on Delivery orders!!! Prices are about 25% more than what's posted on their site and on their menu here. You will be surprised with an additional charge when the delivery guy gets to your door!!! With that said, food is pretty good here when dining in or delivery, however, they get your order wrong as well. I asked which pita melt taste the best, the order taker tells me chicken which I order and get a gyro melt. I ask for a chicken dinner plate but get a chicken kabob platter. The order taker needs to either pay attention or "listen" to the order. DO NOT GET DELIVERY from here. If you want to eat here, make sure you dine in so that you can make sure your order is correct!! read more

Had a gyro delivered to my house a little while ago usually with a gyro you get lettuce tomatos white sauce and or hot sauce all i got was alot of meat no lettuce no tomatos alot of white sauce to the point where the bread was soaked and my finger went thru the bread waste of 8$ waited an hour for that never again read more

Order took 1 hour and 20 minutes to get here. Food was ice cold and tasted bad. When I called them after an hour of waiting I was placed on hold, then was given attitude when asked why my food is taking so long to get here. And ONTOP OF THR WAIT, I found hair in my food... STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! read more

Big mix up with rude delivery man... thought he was from Fontana (because I thought that's who my wife called), but it was Gyro Corner, but Elena and owner made it right read more

gyro corner is where it all started for me loving greek food.this place is amazing to have right in my own hometown.grilled octopus, baby lamb chops, burgers ,shakes what ever you like they make it cozy little consistent great food shish kabobs, salads.they use the best greek olive oil.place is spotless. read more

This place has been around forever and for good reason. The food is good and the service is never bad. Ive been eating here for years (mostly take out or delivery) and I never once had an issue. The only thing I dont like about the food is the pita bread. The bread isnt bad but I'm pretty sure its mass produced store bought pita bread and not freshly baked pitas. Honestly, I cant blame them because they are pretty busy most nights of the week and might be a challenge to keep a stock of homemade fresh pitas. However, if youre overly concious of over processed chemical infused bread, then you might have more of a problem with it than I. Its not like this place is geared towards the super health concious anyways... read more

The delivery is TERRIBLE!! They have no control , the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. The owner doesn't care that it takes 2 hours for delivery and then they lose the order and your credit card information..I called two times and they had no clue. I will never order from them again!!! read more

Went there for years. The place needs a good cleaning. Last few times I went I was grossed out by the front of the house to the bathrooms

Worst gyro ive ever had. I ordered chicken souvlaki and i couldnt even chew it because it was sooooo hard like a rock. Seriously. Never coming back. read more

We eat here often. Great gyro souvlaki and grilled squid/ calamari tzatziki and pita Our favorite place. Good value

Always fresh and food and delivery is usually fast..... even with my special instructions they always get it right..... this us always a first choice on a take out night read more

First and last time ordering food from here. We waited over an hour and a half on a Wednesday! And still no food! Don't even care if it's good or not at this point. Whoever answers the phone is less than helpful. We've heard good things but this was a terrible first and last impression. BTW, after cancelling our order, the food was delivered (had he not been informed of the cancellation??) and he was a sweetheart and very apologetic. Seemed like he was used to this happening. One star for the lovely gentleman on behalf of this restaurant. read more

We used to come more often and saturday night reminded me why we are not coming anymore. My 13 yr old son ordered lamb chops medium rare. They came out well done. The order was $22.50. For that price you get what you want. I asked the waitress to take it back and give us medium rare. After speaking to the chef she said they will fix it but it will taje a while. I asked why would it take long if the chef messed up the order he should rush out another one right away. We were eating and my son had to wait 20 minutes. Never again!!!! Even as of recently the meat has been overcooked and not tasty. There are enough great greek restaurants in whitestone and bayside to go to that are way better. This used to be good years ago. read more

Try the gyro souvlaki sandwich and lemon potatoes, 13 bucks, and they don't skimp. It will fill you up, and has quality taste

Good portions, good food, good price. Very nice local business. Staff very polite and friendly.

Excellent gyros and souvlaki! I try to go at lest once a week! They only reason I am not giving 5 stars because the parking is terrible!

This is the most ridiculously annoying place ever. We ordered food from here two nights ago, the food was okay. I have had better. The meat was really dry, the rice was so salty that I had to throw most of it out. And, they did not give us any utensils, it was past midnight order to a library and they forgot the utensils. I never wanted to eat from this place again, but we had to order from here the next day because this is the only place that opens late in the neighborhood. And, again the same situation with food that took over an hour and half to get here, and there were no utensils again! If that is some sort of restaurant way of going green, LET PEOPLE KNOW!! It is a common understanding to expect utensils on a take out order. read more

Just ordered from here and hour ago for a delivery... It's not the first time, but it will be our last! We've placed large orders before for take out (close to $100 each time). Each time they forget something. This time they messed up the order completely - on top of not sending what we ordered, they also sent cold food! I'd give them zero stars if I cold!!! Learn customer service people, and get your act together!!! read more

Only place I go to for Greek food. I usually order the Chicken Donner Plate with lemon potatoes. The lemon potatoes are THE best. It's full of flavor. Staff is friendly. read more

This place is OK, nothing to knock your socks off. The gyro is good, the salad is good, and the bacon cheeseburger is good. I would give this place 4 stars, if I never had a gyro from Fontana's on Northern Blvd. Gyro Corner ranks second. I get double the meat at Fontana's and pretty much the same quality. If Fontana's delivered, they would put gyro corner out of business. read more

I've been looking for a good chicken & rice place in the Bayside/Flushing area for the longest time and I think I've finally found my go-to place in Gyro Corner. At first glance it doesn't look all that inviting/appealing, but that's mostly because it has been around forever. And for anyone that knows Queens, you know that any place that has been in the same place for that long has to be good. So far I've tried the Chicken platter and the Chicken Donner platter and both did not disappoint. The platter meals are a bit pricey (Both around 12 bucks), but you definitely get what you pay for as not only do you get the main dish, you also get a greek salad and big piece of warm pita bread. While waiting, I saw some of their other dishes, (gyro, burgers, fries, etc) and all looked really good. Have already gone twice in the same week and will be going again soon. read more

Ridiculous wait times! 40minutes for a cheeseburger when there's two other customers in the store. They really need better management

i have been getting my greek food fix from this spot for years and never thought to write a review until today when i had it again. i won't say it is the best greek food i have ever had in my life because sometimes the lamb is overcooked, but that rarely happens anyway. the tzatiki is incredible, the rice that comes on the side of the platters is amazing, and usually the lamb is perfectly tender. one thing i don't care for are the salads that come as a side. they are hardly dressed. sonetimes i only taste water-y leaves, sometimes i taste the tiniest amount of oil and vinegar, and rarely the salad is dressed well. i've also tried their seafood platter and filet of sole, which were really good. i think i tried the grapes leaves once a while back and liked them, but i am not a huge fan of those to begin with. this restaurant is packed almost everytime i go so i am surprised the rating is only 3.5. i do recommend this spot if you're looking for good greek food. prices can be high for the platters but you get a decent amount of food for the price. read more

The pork souvlaki and chicken souvlaki here are not dry like alot of places of its kind. Service is fast. I'ld recommend this place

I just love this place! They are definitely due for an upgrade in the ambiance. But the food is amazing, cheap, and done to your liking! My BF and I go there regularly and eat. Very rarely are we disappointed. The service is efficient and the staff is super nice! read more

This place has good food but when you order out they take forever to come and food is cold.

When your talking about Top Quality Greek food in the Queens area, your talking about Gyro Corner ! Not much to say but if your in business for twenty three plus years your obviously doing something correct and the answer is simple, its Quality. Meats are all well marinated. Gyro, Chicken Kebab, Haloumi (cheese), and the Octopus are all to die for. I suggest you dine in if your looking for that straight off the grill mouth watering experience even though I usually order for delivery. read more

I went the other night for the first time and to be honest I wasn't expecting much from the way it looked but I was pleasantly surprised! The food was excellent and the employees very friendly! read more

Eh, Gyro Corner is no way horrible. But there's other better options, why would you go here? I ate here once and was highly disappointed because i was so used to the high quality of the food in Gyro World. The gyro and fries just do not compare. Service was good though. read more

best gyro in town. fast and always consistant. Extra white sauce is a must and they deliver, lightning fast. Check em out.

The wait is well worth it. I always like the lemon potatoes! Staff is awesome and I can complain. Thanks Gyro corner!

Always had a great gyro from here. The salads are great and fries are always crispy which I prefer. The only downside is the delivery on a saturday is usually close to an hour wait. read more

Very good, affordable authentic Greek cuisine. The service is quick and the portions are very large. The gyros (lamb or chicken) are outstanding as is the Greek salad. The grilled octopus is charcoal grilled to perfection. Seating is somewhat limited and there is usually a nice crowd. Highly recommend. read more

the pork souvlaki is dry and tasteless. It is not cooked on a fire but instead in an oven grill. Worst ever ate.
